"How was the fashion show yesterday?" Chelsea asked me as I went over to the kitchen after I woke up.

I put a few pieces of toast in the toaster. "It was good. Even if Rebecca was rude again, I still had fun being at the fashion show, and being with Vince," I said.

"Ugh, what did she do now? I definitely don't ever want to meet her." She rolled her eyes.

I explained to her about the little snide remarks she made about me in private, and some even in front of people.

"That's messed up," Chelsea said. "You should stay away from her."

"It's not like I see her that often anyways." I shrugged. "But I probably will be seeing more of her, just because she's Vince's sister." I sighed.

"Yeah, that's the downside. Does Vince know how she acts toward you?"

"I'm not completely sure. She's nice to him, but she's basically rude to everyone else. At least, that's what I noticed." I shrugged, then started making a strawberry and banana smoothie. After I was done blending the smoothie, I continued, "She acts meaner when he's not around though."

"She seems fake and two-faced." She made a disgusted face.

"Yeah." I nodded my head in agreement. "Did you know she also has a daughter?"

"She does? I didn't know that." She raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"Yeah, a teenage daughter named Mallory." I took a few sips of my smoothie. "She even told Mallory to put some of her food back."

Her eyes widened, and her mouth dropped open. "I feel bad for her."

"Me too." I finished my smoothie, and put the glass in the dishwasher. "I got extra food for her though, and gave it to her when Rebecca wasn't looking."

"That's good." She gave me a thumbs up, and then ate her breakfast.

All of a sudden, my phone vibrated, and I looked at it, noticing Vince texted me, saying:

I gasped, grinning as I read the text. I quickly texted back:

"Whoa, someone looks really happy," Chelsea said, grinning. "Is it Vince?"

"Yeah," I said, grinning. "He asked me if I wanted to come over to his loft later."

"Awesome!"

My phone buzzed again, and Vince texted me his address.

"I'm sure he has a huge place that has chandliers made of gold in every room," Chelsea said excitedly.

"Maybe," I said, smiling mischievously as I raised my eyebrows.

"So how has Sanjay been doing?" She grinned.

I blinked, registering that question that came out of nowhere. "He's doing good I guess. Why?" I laughed, giving her a confused look.

"Just wondering." She shrugged.

I gave her a look, smirking. "You're still interested in him?"

"Yeah, he seems like a decent guy. He's cute too."

"If you want, I can try setting you up with him."

Her eyes widened as she grinned. "Really? You would do that for me?"

"Of course." I smiled.

"Yay." She gave me a hug, practically tackling me.

Chelsea and I hung around the house until it was time for me to get ready to go to Vince's loft.

I put on a light brown shirt with cut offs on the sleeves, and a light brown and black patterned skirt. It was semi-casual, yet a sophisticated outfit.

When I walked out of the room, Chelsea looked up from looking at Vogue magazine, and said, "Looking great!"

"Thanks," I said, grinning. "I'm going to go to Vince's place now."

"Okay, have fun!" She waved as I left.

I went outside, hailed a taxi, and then I got to Vince's place about ten minutes later.

When I got out of the taxi, I looked up at the lofts. There were a few next to each other, and it looked glamorous.

I walked toward the complex, trying to find his loft number. When I finally found it, which took a few minutes, I went over to it, and rang the doorbell.

A few seconds later, Vince opened the door, having a grin on his face. "Come on in," he said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I had to hold in my gasp when I walked in. I glanced around the living room, noticing a golden chandelier hanging off the ceiling. It had a brown couch, black chairs, and gray walls. There was a white rug next to the couch. "Wow," I said as I looked around the loft. "This place looks amazing."

"Thank you," Vince said, smiling. "If you want, I can show you the rest of the place."

"Sounds good." I smiled back.

We went to a different room in the back, and it looked like an office space. It looked neat and organized. The room had gray walls, a black chair, and a white rug where the desk was. "This is where I start out ideas for work when I'm not there."

"That's cool." I walked around the room, glancing at different folders and files on the desk, which were neatly stacked.

We walked a few other rooms, which were the dining room, and a room with a lot of books (which Vince called it the library room). The dining room was connected to the living room, so it looked similar, just smaller. The library room had a small spiral staircase, depicted like the old English movies.

"What kind of books do you have?" I asked him as I looked around the library room.

"I have non-fiction over here," Vince replied, pointing at the bottom of the shelves. "They are sorted by genres. I have history, science, psychology, and biographies."

"Oh, cool." I smiled.

"Up there are a few fiction books. I also have some fantasy, historical fiction, and old romantic fiction." He pointed where the top shelves were.

"That's awesome."

Next, we went to the guest bedroom, and his bedroom. The guest bedroom looked very similar to the bedroom, with its gray walls, black and gray covers, and fans.

When we walked into his bedroom, I said, "This is basically anyone's dream room." I looked around in awe.

Vince chuckled. "Well I'm not sure it's just anyone's dream room, but thank you." He smiled.

The book room, guest bedroom, and his bedroom were located upstairs, and the rest of the rooms were downstairs.

We went back downstairs to the dining room. "Would you like a martini?" He asked.

"I'd love some, thanks," I said, grinning.

"Coming up." He poured the martini into a glass, then gave it to me.

I took a few sips of it. "It's really good." I nodded my head in approval.

"Thanks." He smiled.

After we drank our martinis, we went over to the couch.

Vince turned on the T.V., and then he put his arm around me. While we cuddled, I looked up at him, leaned closer, and started kissing. He grabbed me by the waist, pulling me even closer to him, then we started making out.

In the midst of that, Vince's phone went off. We pulled away, and he sighed, saying to me, "Hey, sorry. That's my sister calling."

I nodded as he picked up the phone.

"Hello, Rebecca?" He said into the phone. He paused for a moment when she said something on the phone. "Unfortunately, I can't do it. I have a business meeting then, but I can try asking Stacey for you. I'll call you back when I do."

My eyes widened in surprise. Does Rebecca want something from me? Ask me what?

After Vince hung up the phone, he turned back to me. "Sorry about the interruption," he apologized.

"It's okay," I said, nodding my head in understanding. "I wasn't trying to eavesdrop on your conversation, but I heard you need to ask me something?"

"Yes, actually." He paused for a few seconds. "Have you ever babysat before?"

I blinked at the random question. "I have actually. I haven't babysat anyone in quite a while though." I gave him a puzzled look. "Why?"

"I was wondering if you could babysit Rebecca's daughter, Mallory, on Sunday. Their maid is unable to because her mom got very sick, and she has to take care of her for a while, and the other babysitters Rebecca usually calls are also unavailable. Rebecca is going to Milan for a business trip, and Todd also has a business trip, but his is in Maine."

I paused at the thought. Babysitting Mallory didn't seem too bad, just the thought of dealing with Rebecca's high standards made me uncomfortable. "Yeah that's fine, Mallory seems fun, but are you sure Rebecca will be okay with that?"

"She asked me if you would be able to actually." He chuckled. "I'm sure it's more than okay."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "That's good."

"I'll give you Rebecca's address." He went over to his desk to get pen and paper, then wrote it down. After giving me the address, he continued, "I'm going to call Rebecca back and tell her you'll be able to do it." He smiled.

"Okay, cool." I grinned.

Vince called Rebecca back, and told her that I will be able to babysit Mallory. When he got off the phone, he turned to me, and said, "I gave Rebecca your number, just in case she needs to get in contact with you about Mallory."

"Is it for Sunday only?"

"Yes." He nodded. "Todd should be able to come back Sunday night, but if not, then Rebecca will let you know."

"Okay." I nodded.

"Thank you for doing this. It means a lot to me, and especially Rebecca."

"You're welcome." I smiled.

He sat back on the couch, putting his arm around me. I scooted myself even closer to him, and we cuddled while watching "How I Met Your Mother" on Netflix until I had to leave.
