I looked at myself in my mirror, and grinned. I wore a short red dress, and matching high heels. I put my hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my purse, and hailed a taxi outside.
A few minutes later, I arrived to the hotel address where the party was taking place. I grinned, and went inside.
"Name, please," the security guard said sternly.
My eyes widened, and I got nervous. I had no idea there was a list. I cleared my throat. "Uh, Harper Foster," I said coolly.
The security guard glared at me. "She's already here. Now, scram before I throw you out of here."
"But-" I protested, but got interrupted.
"Scram!"
I walked outside, and tried to come up with another plan. After a few minutes, I decided to call Chelsea. The phone rang, and Chelsea picked up.
"Hey, Stacey!" Chelsea exclaimed gleefully.
"Hey, Chelsea I need a huge favor," I said into the phone.
"What is it Stace? Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I just need you to sneak me in Mr. Havens' party."
"Okay, but on one condition."
I sighed. "And what would that be?"
"I want to go to the party too."
I groaned. "But, Chels-"
"It's either that or nothing. I want to meet some classy men."
"Ugh, fine, but you have to wear a dress, and don't cause any trouble."
"Deal."
I told her the address, and then we hung up.
About five minutes later, Chelsea came.
"Wow, you're quick!" I exclaimed as I saw her approaching me.
"I was just about to go to the club, but after you called I figured I'd rather be partying with classy men not drunkard boys," Chelsea said, waving her hand.
"Okay, so let's focus. How do we get in?"
Chelsea looked around the room. "A-ha I got it!" She grinned.
"Really? So, how?" I grinned back, waiting for answer.
"We're climbing up the air vent. It leads to the party room." She pointed at it.
We waited until the room was empty, and then we stood on the glass table, and climbed inside the vent.
"Just follow me," Chelsea turned around, and whispered in the vent.
"Okay."
We crawled a few feet, and stopped. "I see the room," Chelsea said while peeking through the vent. "But there's a lot of people, so we need to find another room connected or next to it." We crawled further, and found a kitchen.

"Bingo!" Chelsea exclaimed. She went out of the air vent first, and landed on the silver stove.
I followed behind her, landing on the stove too, but accidentally knocked off a few plates onto the floor.
We heard footsteps coming, and we frantically ran out of the kitchen, and into the party room.
"Whew, that was close," I said, sighing of relief. Chelsea laughed, which made me laugh.
I looked around, and noticed everyone was dressed in business attire. Men wore suits, and women wore business-like dresses. I winced when I noticed that Chelsea was wearing a very short tight red dress with fishnet leggings, and four inch stilettos. Not that I was dressed any better, since I was wearing a dress that was too short, but at least I didn't have fishnets.
Everyone looked at us strangely, but especially toward Chelsea.
"So, where's the booze?" Chelsea asked.
"Over there," I said and pointed to the drinks section.
I spotted Mr. Havens a few feet away talking to a few other men. I waited until they walked away, and then I waved to him. His face went stern when he saw me, and he marched up to me.
I frowned when I saw his facial expression. Maybe he doesn't like surprises.
"What are you doing here?" He demanded.
Yeah he definitely doesn't like surprises. "Well, I figured I would come here since you forgot to invite me," I said, faking my confidence. "I heard everyone else was invited."
"How did you even get here?" He crossed his arms.
"I-"
"No, don't answer that." He rubbed his forehead and sighed. "This isn't the kind of party you think it is. It is a business party. I assigned certain workers to do a presentation of something very important for other very important people."
My face flushed. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize!"
"I'm not going to kick you out since that would draw unnecessary attention, and embarrass me, but please just don't do anything stupid. I don't have time to deal with you right now." With that, he walked off.
I felt very ashamed, and embarrassed. I looked around for Chelsea, and saw her drinking champagne straight from the bottle. I gasped, and went over to her.
"Chelsea, you're supposed to put champagne in those glasses, not drink from the bottle!" I hissed at her.
Chelsea put it down, and laughed. "Calm down, Stace. So, how did talking with your hot boss go?"

"I don't want to talk about it right now." I whined.
"Oh that bad, huh?" She winced.
A guy interrupted us, and talked to Chelsea. She flirted with him, and as I was about to walk off, a voice behind me said, "Stacey? Is that you?"
I turned around, and saw my ex-boyfriend Dave McKinley. My mouth dropped open. I barely recognized him in a suit. We broke up about seven months ago, nothing too terrible. We just mutually agreed to break up.
He looked completely different now because he used to be a party person.
"It's me, Dave McKinley. Remember?" He smiled, and shook my hand.
"Oh! Yeah, I remember you!" I said nervously, faking a smile. "So, um, how have you been?" What is Dave doing at a place like this?
"I've been doing pretty good. I have my own business now, so life's great. How have you been?" He grinned.
I paused, trying to think of something. "I've been good too. I actually have a business of my own." Wait why am I lying? Too late now...
"Really? That's great." He glanced at Chelsea, who was now standing by herself. "And I see you're still good friends with Chelsea."
"Yeah, she's one of my employees actually."
"Yeah, I help her out with...stuff," Chelsea said, joining the conversation.
"Well, I'm busy at the moment, but I'll see your presentation later. Hope it goes well!" He smiled, and left.
Chelsea turned to me, and laughed. "What was that about?"
"Um...I don't know," I said dumbly.
"I totally get it. You didn't want to tell your ex that you're a secretary that snuck into your boss's party."
"I need something to drink." I poured herself champagne, and drank it.
"What did he mean by presentation?" She gave me a confused look.
I shrugged. "I don't know."
I saw Dante, and waved him over. He came up to me, looking shocked.
"Stacey, what the heck are you doing here? You crashed Mr. Havens party?" He said in disbelief.
I laughed nervously. "Yeah, I guess so."
"You have to get out of here before boss man sees you!"
"He already has," Chelsea spoke up.
"You brought her here?!" He pointed at Chelsea.
"Yeah...it's a long story. Oh, and by the way, you see that guy over there?" I pointed at Dave. "Well, that's my ex, and I kind of told him I'm a boss of a company, and he said something about a presentation. What is that about?"
"Just when I thought things couldn't get worse with you at work." Dante face palmed. "Mr. Havens had this business party so he and other bosses from different companies can share different ideas."
"Oh okay. Well, I guess me and Chelsea will be going now."
"You went out of your way to crash Mr. Havens' party, and now you're just going to leave? I don't think so. You really need to step it up with Mr. Havens since he already seen you here. You're probably one step away from being fired. You will help Mr. Havens and I set up the presentation."
"Oh man, you're right! What have I done?" I winced.
"Calm down, and pull yourself together! Now, come with me, and let's help Mr. Havens."
"What about me?" Chelsea asked, raising her index finger.
"You sit down, and stay out of trouble," Dante grumbled.
Dante and I went up to Mr. Havens. "Sir, since Stacey wasn't invited, and came here anyways, I told her she can help us set up the presentation. Is that okay?" Dante asked.
"Yes, it's fine," Mr. Havens said sternly. He looked over at me. "You come with us."
We went outside, and carried different equipment back to the party room. The three of us set up the presentation. "Well, it looks like it's finished," Mr. Havens said. "Thank you, Dante and Anastasia. Now, I'll get this presentation started." He walked away with Dante, and they got Sanjay, and went to the front of the room. Mr. Havens spoke in the microphone, got everyone's attention, and then started his presentation.
I walked back to Chelsea.
"Can we leave now? It's so boring, and I don't know where the guy from earlier went," Chelsea whined.
"Not yet. I want to at least hear this presentation," I said.
Chelsea poured another glass of champagne, and drank it.
After Mr. Havens' presentation was over, Chelsea and I left.

Takumi no Eri
A romance set between in the generation between 'Kiri to Shinkiro' and 'Data Dragon Danika'. A sudden attraction leads to an unexpected test result that forces the two of them to make a choice, and start defining what kind of relationship this really is. I know it's a little odd to have posted both the prequel and the sequel in my Animephile before getting to this one, but honestly >_> it felt like this one (and its interwined twin that I started writing about half way through it, and will edit when this one is done) was just too smutty. I'm cleaning it up and toning it down to meet the rating as I go back through it.I'm only scheduling one chapter a week, because I'm also starting something in a new universe that I hope to have ready to begin posting sometime this summer.
