《Dear Diary, I Have a Mate》Chapter 39

Dear Diary,
It's almost time for Kaya to arrive!
I can't wait to see her.
~Aria
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see," Ty chuckled.
He had his hands over my eyes.
He took his hands off and I rolled my eyes.
"You led me through the house to come to the living room," I laughed.
That is until Ty flicked on a light and a booming "SURPRISE" hit my ears.
I looked at the scene in front of me and tears started forming in my eyes.
There was a big banner above them saying 'Congratulations, It's A Girl.'
There were pink balloons and streamers everywhere!
I saw Carter and Audrey and Carter's parents. I was surprised to see Paxton and Addie. Then my eyes found Ty's parents and my mom.
There was also some other pack members that I still don't know too well yet. I did however recognize Jason and Aiden. Also I remember Jason's mate Catalina, I talked to her a while back and she is really nice.
"You guys," I sobbed.
A group "Awe" was sounded making me laugh at myself for crying.
I punched Ty and then hugged him.
"You're a dork," I mumbled.
"I know babe," he chuckled.
Everyone wanted to come up and congratulate me. Ty would be making an announcement and that is when I would tell everyone the name we chose.
I got various gifts, well Kaya did.
Carter and Audrey got Kaya a purple teddy bear that said to Kaya on the bear's stomach and then on the back of the bear said love Auntie Audrey and Uncle Carter. Now I know Carter isn't Ty's brother but neither Ty nor I have siblings and so Kaya will now have an Uncle and Aunt, a crazy Uncle but a good one that will love her. Also when Carter and Audrey have children it will give Kaya the opportunity to have cousins!
My mother made Kaya a blanket it was purple, pink, and yellow.
Ty's parents supplied us with a year's supply of diapers, a bunch of clothes, and pacifiers.
Addie and Paxton brought us way too many bottles.

We also received a lot of stuffed animals, bibs, a high chair, and a lot of different mats, a baby swing, a playpen, and a camera. I know for sure I will use that camera and take as many pictures as possible, but hey you only regret the ones you don't take.
Ty stood up and then helped me up, and we made our way to the front of the room.
"We would just like to thank everyone for coming, also thank you for all the generous gifts. It's really great to know we are bringing our daughter into such a wonderful house, pack, and family. Aria is going to tell you the name we have chosen for our daughter," Ty grinned.
"Well her first name is Kaya and some of the credit for that name goes to Carter's lack of hearing," I started. The crowd chuckled and I saw Carter pout. "Her middle name Alee spelled A-L-E-E because the name Alee is both in Ty's mom's name and my mother's name," I explained.
"So Kaya Alee Benson," Tyson announced.
Everyone clapped and nodded in agreement with the name which made me smile because I love our baby's name.
After that we had cake and a lot of the people cleared out.
My mom and Ty's parents who I now know live in a house about mile from here straight back in the woods, stayed to help. My mom also stayed to help clean up.
"Aria sit down we got this," Emmalee scolded.
"Alright," I sighed while slowly sitting down.
My mom smiled and sat next to me.
"I am so proud of you," she sobbed while hugging me.
"Thanks mom," I smiled.
"What did Tyson mean when he said pack?" she asked.
"It's what they refer to themselves as because there are a lot of people living here," I made up on the spot, wow that was pretty impressive.
"Oh okay," she chuckled.
"So Isaac left then?" I confirmed.
"Yes he is back living with his mom," she nodded.
"Good," I sighed in relief.
"I need to steal Aria away for a quick second," Ty smiled.

"Alright," my mom beamed.
"What's going on?" I asked while Ty helped me up.
"Just come on," he chuckled.
I followed him out. He helped me sit down in the grass and then I saw it, fireworks erupting in the sky. They were all white.
"Fireworks," I beamed.
"Look," he chuckled.
"They say something?" I shouted. I didn't even know you could do that!
I read it out loud.
"Will you marry me?" I read. I let the sink in and Ty pulled me to my feet and got down on one knee.
"Ty," I gasped.
"Arrabella James Middletin you are the love of my life. I've loved you since the day I saw you in English class reading Twilight. I love the way your green eyes sparkle when you get excited and I love when you smile and your dimples show. I love everything about you. We are going to have a beautiful daughter shortly and I can only hope she will be as smart and kind hearted as her mother. Arrabella will you marry me?" Ty asked.
I nodded and then finally found my voice again.
"Yes," I laughed. He stood up and slipped the gorgeous ring on my finger.
"I love you Ty," I sniffed.
"I love you baby," he chuckled.
I cannot believe I am engaged to Tyson Benson!
************************************
Ty and I decided to have the wedding later on and have it be a long term engagement. We want Kaya to be able to be in the wedding.
Also I don't want to be pregnant for it! Ty said it can be small or big. I told him to invite the entire pack so no one feels left out. Wolf weddings are different because the day Ty and I met he knew we would be together forever.
My mom cried when I told her the news. She's so happy for me.
"Babe where are the bottles?" I asked.
"I got it," Ty smiled while grabbing them from the sun room and stocking them into the cabinets.
"Thanks babe," I called from the couch in the living room.
"Hey Aria," Audrey smiled while sitting on the couch next tome me.
"Hey are you taking a break?" I laughed.
Audrey is moving in today! She has a lot of stuff! When I say a lot I mean like Carter had to make two trips from her house to here just to transport everything.
"I am, Carter is still working," she shrugged.
"How long until he comes looking for you," I scoffed.
"I give it," she started to say.
"Aud," Carter called.
"Until now," she laughed.
"Yeah babe?" she asked.
"What's this?" he asked while holding up a football sweatshirt.
"That would be my friends sweatshirt I never gave back to him," she shrugged.
"Guy friend?" he verified.
"Yes Carter," she sighed.
"Who is he?" Carter demanded.
"Carter stop we were best friends in middle school, he's away at college now," she rolled her eyes.
"Well you wore it a lot," he pouted.
"Well look whose sweatshirt I'm wearing now," she pointed out while pointing to Carter's Vikings sweatshirt.
"That's my girl," he smiled while picking her up so she was straddling him.
"Okay bye," I called while standing up from the couch and walking into the kitchen.
I sat on the stool and watched as Ty stacked the bottles in the cabinet.
"Hey princess," he smiled.
"Hey Ty," I sighed while resting my chin on my hands.
"You tired?" he worriedly asked while searching my face.
"I'm tired of being pregnant, I just want the little chunker out," I pouted.
"I know babe soon enough she will be here," he encouraged.
I smiled up at him. He's right soon enough Kaya would be in my arms, I can't wait until she completes our little family.
