Dear Diary,

Ty and I had a big fight last night.

I have nothing to say anymore I feel like my chest has been ripped out.

~Aria

I woke up in Ty's arms like usual. It wasn't until my heart ached that I remembered the events that occurred last night.

"Hey beautiful," Ty smiled. I smiled at his brown eyes.

"That's not an Aria smile," he pouted.

"Don't be nice to me," I sighed while sitting up.

"What?" he asked.

"You should be mad at me," I pointed out.

"I told you, you made the decision to go," he shrugged.

"Why aren't you mad?" I asked.

"Do you know what it's like to watch the love of your life cry herself to sleep? I do. I don't want it to happen again," he stated.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"You shouldn't be," he smiled while kissing my head.

"Is that the chest my mom gave me?" I asked while noticing it in the corner of the room.

"Yeah it was in the car," Ty shrugged.

"Yeah," I sighed.

"So Isaac-," he started to say.

"Isaac will just have to get over it," I stated.

"Okay," Ty chuckled.

"Um, I'll be right back," I replied while exiting the room. I walked downstairs and took a deep breath.

I sat on the stool next to Carter and thought about what to say for a minute, luckily he went first.

"You worried me yesterday," he commented while turning to face me.

"I didn't know beta's worried about the alpha's mate," I replied.

"They have instinct and its worry for me as well because I actually care about you," he mocked.

I fake glared at him making him chuckle.

"I'm sorry," I added.

"Me too kid," he smiled.

"Just next time take my side okay," I commented while getting off the stool.

"Don't worry I got your back," he teased.

"Bye dork," I called while racing back upstairs.

I walked back into the bedroom and Ty was waiting for me with a small smile on his face.

"What?" I laughed.

"You're cute," he shrugged while pulling me in for a hug.

"Ugh bladder," I shouted while running into the bathroom. I don't why I always have to pee in the morning. Maybe it's because I go eight hours without going and then my bladder gets stunned or something. Yeah that has to be it. Look at me making conclusions. I should be a scientist or something.

I walked out of the bathroom and then took Ty's hand and led him downstairs.

"Carter," I shouted because he wasn't in the living room like I assumed.

"What?" Carter asked while instantly showing up.

"You can't put it off any longer, we have to plan how you are going to tell Audrey," I smirked.

"Maybe it can wait," he mumbled.

"Carter it can't," I argued.

"I don't know if I can handle it," he sighed.

"You're going to tell her you're a werewolf and you're afraid you can't handle it?" I asked in disbelief while playing with Ty's fingers. He was currently watching Carter and my conversation, amusement flooding his vibrant brown eyes.

"It's hard Aria, after Tyson told you I thought you would never talk to us again," he replied.

"You're so dramatic," I smiled.

"Help," he pleaded.

"Awe look who's begging for my help," I smirked.

"Don't push it," he mocked.

"I think the way Ty told me was good," I shrugged.

"You do?" Ty asked in disbelief.

"Yeah Audrey can't be mad at you for lying since you guys have only been dating for a week plus after you show her your wolf I can talk to her," I added.

"Really?" he beamed.

"Yeah," I shrugged.

"Yes, okay tonight then," he nodded.

"Sure," I laughed.

"Okay Audrey and I are going in the woods now," Carter hinted while taking her hand.

"Okay I'll be here," I smiled.

Carter nodded and Audrey waved at me. I waved back and shook my head at that boy. I mean he's so worked up over this. If Audrey feels about Carter the way I feel about Ty he has nothing to worry about.

"What's that smile for?" Ty asked, making me slightly jump.

"Oh sorry did I scare you?" Ty laughed.

"I was just in deep thought idiot," I giggled. He then lifted me out of my seat to sit back down and place me on his lap. I snuggled into him and sighed in content.

"Do you know what you are going to say to Audrey?" he asked.

"Yeah I have an idea," I laughed.

"Let's hear it," he encouraged.

"You can hear it later," I protested knowing he and Carter would both hear the conversation.

"I guess that's my only choice, she's on her way back now and she's running," Ty added.

"Good luck, it's probably best I'm not around," he chuckled.

"Bye babe, love you," I called.

"Love you," he called.

The door flew open and her brown eyes landed on me.

"Aria we have to get out of here," she screamed.

"Come on," I laughed while motioning her to follow me.

She looked at me like I was crazy but followed me up the stairs. I led her to the game room and sat in the beanbag. She sat in the one across from me.

"We need to make a plan and run for it," she sniffed while letting a few tears escape.

"Why?" I asked.

"They're wolves," she shouted.

"Yeah they are and we happen to be their mates," I nodded.

"Mates they use us to make wolf children with them?" she nearly screamed.

"No, it's like a soul mate," I explained. I'm trying to sound calm and like an expert. I really don't know what the hell I'm talking about! However right now it feels natural as if we are talking about the weather.

"Soul mate?" she questioned.

"Yeah like love at first sight, which is why you two couldn't tear your eyes away from each other in McDonalds," I added.

"I just don't like wolves or even dogs," she worriedly added.

"I'm going to tell you my story, okay?" I asked.

She nodded and eagerly waited.

"Ever since I was eight I was abused. I was abused by my father. He shoved peanut butter down my throat to prevent me from talking because I'm allergic to peanut butter. I stopped talking for ten years. I only just started again about six months ago when Ty found me. He helped me to talk again and not be so scared. I still sometimes have trouble and Ty's like the one person I can count on always. He loves me more than anyone could love a person. When I walk into the room and see him I get a feeling that I can't even explain. I'm telling you this because I freaked out after Ty told me about werewolves. The only thing that makes them different is their love for their mate. They are stronger and faster than most but they use that to protect their mate," I explained.

"Aria I'm so sorry that happened to you," she sobbed.

"Don't cry it's the past and that won't dictate my future," I assured.

"So Carter's my soul mate?" she asked.

"Yes," I laughed.

"I guess I don't feel so stupid now," she admitted.

"What?" I laughed.

"Well I thought I was crazy. The butterflies in my stomach when I see Carter, and I always think about him; always," she added.

I nodded and couldn't help the smile knowing Carter was hearing this right now.

"Plus," she went on. "His blue eyes make me want to never look away from them. I've never seen anything so blue," she added.

"I know the feeling," I nodded.

"It's just scary," she added.

"Listen, Carter's going to bug the hell out of you but in the best way possible," I smiled.

"Has Ty ever hurt you?" she asked.

"No, no Ty and I play around all the time, you'll see they use their strength to piss you off not hurt you," I laughed.

"I should've known, Ty's entire face lights up whenever he looks at you or even just when you talk," she added.

"Really?" I blushed.

"Yeah," she laughed.

"Plus Carter trusts you to keep this secret," I added.

"That's true," she smiled.

"But we have power over them as well," I commented.

"Like when you and Tyson had that bet?" she laughed.

"Yeah all you have to do is cry, not even that, and you have them in the palm of your hand," I laughed.

"This is going to be fun," she agreed.

"Totally," I nodded. "Do you feel better?" I asked.

"Yes, thank you Aria," she smiled while standing up. I stood up as well and it surprised me when she pulled me in for a hug.

"Do you want to go find the idiots?" I asked.

"Yeah," she blushed. I laughed and led her downstairs. Carter eagerly stood up off the couch. We made it to the bottom and Audrey looked a little scared. So I gave her a reassuring smile and she walked over and hugged Carter.

I beamed at the two and then ran to Ty.

He chuckled and kissed my head.

"Good work princess," he encouraged.

Dear Diary,

I finally understand what a mate is.
