《Dear Diary, I Have a Mate》Chapter 24

Dear Diary,
Isaac is back.
Ty wouldn't like him.
It's dark wherever I am right now, but oddly warm.
~Aria
"So how do you know her?" I heard Ty ask someone.
"I've known her since preschool," Isaac stated.
Why is Isaac here, wait where am I?
"Aria, baby?" Ty asked.
"Mhm," I moaned.
"Open your eyes baby," he soothed.
I opened them and met his face. I was in his room along with him, Carter and Isaac.
"Leave," I weakly told Isaac while staring him straight in the eye.
"When did the talking start again?" he asked.
"LEAVE," I shouted.
"Carter," Ty growled.
Carter led Isaac out and then Ty sat next to me.
"What time is it?" I asked him.
"Three," he replied.
"I was out for four hours?" I asked.
"Yes," he chuckled.
"My legs don't work," I pouted.
"I know baby," he soothed.
"Why is Isaac here?" I asked.
"I don't know you kicked him out," Ty chuckled.
"Right," I replied.
"Should I bring him back in?" he asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
"Help me sit up first," I added.
"Okay," he smiled while pulling me up to a sitting position so I was leaning against one of the pillows.
Isaac and Carter walked back in and Isaac looked relieved.
"Why are you here?" I asked him.
He came closer to the bed and sighed.
"I saw about your dad so I figured this is the town you are in now," he stated.
"Why do you care?" I asked.
"You know that I've always cared about you," he stated.
"If that were true you wouldn't have let me go through what I did," I shouted.
"You wouldn't talk to me," he stated.
"I couldn't," I screamed.
"You are now," he stated.
"Isaac you knew what was going on, you knew about Trevor and my mom, you still kissed me and made me pay for it every night," I yelled while letting a few tears roll down my face.
"What?" Ty growled.
"Ella you know that I didn't know you were getting abused," he replied.
"Don't call me that," I warned.
"Fine just explain why you wouldn't talk to me," he stated.
"I couldn't Isaac, you think I didn't want to everyday I wanted to," I replied.
"Then why didn't you?" he asked.
"You reminded me of her," I added, avoiding the questions.
"I know and I know now what he did to you and I swear I didn't know back then," he replied.

"Leave," I dryly replied while turning my head away from him.
"Ella," he started to say.
"Stop calling me that," I warned.
"Come on," he pleaded.
"Ty make him go," I cried.
Ty snapped his head from me to Isaac and nearly threw him out of the room Carter followed after him. Ty then sat next to me and I leaned my head into his shoulder.
"Don't be upset baby," he begged.
"I'm not," I sniffed.
"What exactly happened between you two?" he asked.
"I don't want to talk about it," I replied while leaning my head back.
"Ar I need to know so I know what to do with him," he stated.
"What?" I asked.
"Keep him around or not," he stated.
"I don't care," I shrugged.
"I think you do," he replied.
I tried to move but my legs still didn't work.
"You can't move babe don't strain yourself," Ty pleaded.
"Isaac was my best friend until I turned eight. I stopped talking and he went crazy. I lost all my other friends, but he was adamant to get me to talk again. I would avoid him at school and take different routes home just so I didn't run into him. His mom and mine were good friends and so we knew each other for a long time. Then when we turned twelve he got so mad at me one day that he hit me. I wanted to shout at him so bad that I was already getting abused at home. He started trying to take control of me like he was my owner or something. Then when we turned thirteen he kissed me and my father saw. We moved after that. My dad was so mad that Isaac still talked to me that I got beaten just because of it. Then Isaac found out where we moved and tried to apologize and get back into my life. This made us move here. Then he saw the story of the house burning down came to this town and ran into Carter and I at McDonalds," I finished.
"He hit you," Ty growled.
"Ty stop," I pleaded while wrapping my arms around him to stop him from shaking.
"Ar I need to get away from you," he stated.
"Calm down," I pleaded.
"I can't right now baby I need you to let go of me," he stated.
"I missed you," I replied.
"I missed you too princess let go now," he stated.
I let my arms drop and Ty stalked out of the room.
I heard him yelling at Isaac. How could he hit me I was already being abused at home. I heard him ask him why he is so obsessed with me. I also heard a stream of curse words directed towards him. I then heard some things break a weird banging sound and then silence. Isaac must have said something that made Ty stop.

I could hear their voices but I couldn't make out what was being said. I heard Carter say my name and Isaac add something. Ty must be what's keeping them from coming back in here.
I tried moving my legs again but it wasn't working. Great I guess it's just my thoughts and I.
Isaac looked about the same. He's pretty tall now though standing around five feet eleven inches I would guess. Ty's way taller than him and more built.
Isaac still has his sandy blonde hair and light brown eyes. Isaac's eyes are nothing compared to Ty's. Nobodies eyes are anything compared to Ty's.
"Hey Ar," Ty smiled. I smiled hugely when my eyes met his chocolate brown ones.
"What happened out there?" I asked.
"Nothing um, do you want to rest?" he asked.
"Lay with me," I demanded while reaching my arms towards him. He chuckled and walked over to me.
"I love you," he whispered into my hair while helping me to lie down.
"I love you more," I smiled.
"That's impossible," he smirked while turning his head to look at me after he lay down next to me.
"I love you more than your brain can even imagine," he grinned.
"Don't underestimate my brain Ty," I laughed.
"I don't, ever," he smiled while kissing my head again.
"Don't leave when I fall asleep, okay?" I pleaded.
"Okay baby," he smiled.
I snuggled into him and shut my eyes knowing his eyes would be what I would wake up to.
****************************************
I woke up and looked over to see Ty had fallen asleep. I groaned when I realized my legs couldn't work. I looked at the clock and realized I had only napped for an hour, I wonder what Isaac and Carter are doing?
"Ty," I whispered while shaking him slightly.
"Mhm," he mumbled.
"I have to use the bathroom but I can't walk," I pouted.
He smirked.
"Stop being a pervert and help me," I pleaded.
Ty got out of bed and then carried me into the bathroom.
"Why do you always have to pee when you wake up?" he chuckled.
"I don't know ask my bladder," I smiled.
"How do you want to do this?" he asked.
"Well first put the lid down on the toilet," I stated, he used his foot to do so.
"Then set me down," I shrugged. He set me down on top of the closed toilet and waited.
"Leave so I can pee," I stated.
"Are you sure you don't need help getting your pants off?" he smirked.
"OUT," I shouted.
He chuckled and then exited.
After using the bathroom, which was way harder than I expected it to be with legs that didn't work, I called for Ty.
"Can you set me on the sink so I can wash my hands?" I asked.
"Sure," he replied.
After washing my hands Ty carried me back into the bedroom. Isaac and Carter were in the doorway.
"Come in," Ty sighed.
He then set me on the bed so I was once again leaning against the pillow and then he sat next to me and grabbed my hand into his.
"I'm sorry you didn't get your McDonalds Carter," I smirked.
"Yeah you owe me," he smiled.
"Um Isaac has something to tell you Ar," Tyson added.
"What?" I asked while turning my attention to him.
"First I have a question why was Tyson carrying you out of the bathroom?" he asked.
"I had to go to the bathroom," I replied.
"Why was he in there with you?" he asked.
"He wasn't I called him in when I was done," I explained.
"Why couldn't you just walk out?" he questioned.
"My legs don't work after I get the gas to help me breathe, I don't just get carried around," I stated.
"Oh that makes sense and it was a valid question," he defended.
"What do you need to tell me?" I asked.
Ever since I was eight I was wondering what it would be like to hear these words come out of a person's mouth until now when it's actually happening and I just feel numb.
"I know where your mom is, she wants to be back in your life," Isaac stated loud and clear.
I let sadness turn to anger and in that second I know I will never be the same after this conversation about my mom. A mom a daughter's first hero right, no my mom will never be my hero.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
