《Dear Diary, I Have a Mate》Chapter 13

Dear Diary,
I told Ty about Trevor yesterday. It was nice to tell someone about it.
I wonder what my dad is doing right now. I wonder if I ever cross his mind.
Ty and I are good. He still has to explain to me more about mates but I think I'm starting to get it, just kidding I don't really understand.
~Aria
I can't really sleep that well for some reason I keep having these weird dreams.
Ty is asleep and he has his arm around my waist.
I snuggled into him, but I really have to pee!
I moved out of his grip and then walked over to the bathroom.
I walked out and climbed back into bed.
"Ar," Ty mumbled.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah I just can't sleep," I admitted.
"Do you want a drink of water?" he asked.
I don't know how water is going to help!
"Yeah I'll be right back," I sighed.
I walked downstairs to find Carter sitting at the bar eating a bowl of cereal.
I looked over at the clock and it said it was one in the morning.
"Really Carter?" I laughed.
He looked over at me and smiled.
"I got hungry," he shrugged.
I grabbed a water bottle and sat next to him.
"Do you live here?" I asked.
"Yep," he replied.
"What about your parents?" I asked.
"They are with Tyson's parents a lot," he sighed.
"Where is that?" I questioned.
"You ask a lot of questions," he laughed.
"Answer them," I ordered.
"They are away on um business," he answered.
"What do they do?" I asked.
"Arrabella," he groaned.
"Carter," I groaned back.
"Cute," he teased while ruffling my hair and putting his bowl in the sink.
"Ask Tyson," he added before walking out.
"Bye," I called.
I then drank some of the water and then walked back upstairs. I got into bed and snuggled into Ty.
"Have fun?" he asked.
"Yep," I laughed.
"You took a while," he stated.
"Were you timing me?" I asked.
"No I just missed you," he sighed while pulling me closer to him.
I then fell back asleep and didn't have another dream that night.
**********************************
"So does everyone have a mate?" I asked Ty.
"No only certain people," he explained.
"Like a club?" I questioned.
"Kind of," he replied.
"Are you in a cult?" I asked.

"Arrabella," he snorted.
"Well you act like the leader and order everyone around," I added.
"I'm not in a cult," he stated.
"Fine and stop calling me Arrabella," I demanded.
"Why?" he asked.
"I don't like it," I replied.
"Why?" he smirked.
"What do your parents do?" I asked hoping for a subject change, and I actually was curious.
"Where did that come from?" he questioned.
"Why does Carter live here?" I asked.
"Aria, slow down," he smiled.
"Tyson," I groaned.
"My parents and Carter's parents work together they are very high up in our families business," he explained.
"What business?" I asked.
"A very important one, anyways a lot people live in this house which is why it is so big," he added.
"I never see a lot of people," I stated.
"That is because the um, children of the higher power parents live on this side of the house," he answered.
"Oh, I guess that make sense," I agreed.
"You don't get it do you?" he laughed.
"Shut up," I stated while pushing at his chest.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.
I looked up and into his brown eyes, they were holding me captive and I was vaguely aware of both of our heads getting closer.
Ty let go of my hand and now his hand is cupping my face guiding me to his face.
I closed my eyes and then felt his lips come in contact with mine. An explosion of sparks and butterflies erupted inside me. Our lips moved in sync and he pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him.
I pulled away after a moment to breathe, but Ty didn't stop, he started kissing down my neck. He got to this one stop on my neck that made my back arch and my body press closer to him.
He smiled against my skin and then he looked up at me his eyes were slightly darker.
I slid off his lap and he grabbed me and sat me next to him.
"Ty?" I asked.
"Yeah," he replied while turning his head towards me.
"This mate bond thing, I can feel it too right?" I asked.
"Yes," he laughed.
"Good, I thought I was going crazy," I laughed.
"You're not crazy, just violent," he smirked.
"Whatever I couldn't hurt you even if I tried," I scoffed.
"Trust me Ar you have a lot of power in your hands and you are probably the only person that could ever hurt me," he honestly replied.

"Are we going to school tomorrow?" I asked.
"Well it's a short week," he laughed.
"It is?" I stated.
"Yeah we only go Monday and Tuesday," he laughed.
I nodded and then rolled off the bed.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Shower," I smiled.
He laughed and then turned on the TV. I grabbed my sweatpants and tank top and then headed into the bathroom. After my shower I found Ty half asleep.
"Tired?" I laughed while lying down next to him.
"Yeah, aren't you? I mean you didn't sleep well last night," he asked.
"I guess I am," I yawned.
He chuckled and then turned the light off.
I slept all night and I had only good dreams, of Tyson.
************************************************
"Arrabella likes it," Carter demanded.
"No Carter, I don't," I replied.
He put ketchup on his eggs!
"Its disgusting man," Ty agreed.
"You're disgusting," he retorted.
I laughed.
"Ar, stand up for me," Ty pouted.
"Carter, apologize," I demanded.
"No," he stubbornly replied.
"Carter," I warned.
"Sorry," he mumbled.
"What was that?" Ty smirked.
"SORRY," he shouted.
I busted out laughing again they are like little kids!
"Carter I'm going to ride with you," a boy I don't know said to Carter.
"Aria this is Aiden," Carter introduced.
"Hi," I whispered while ducking my head into Ty.
"Ready to go?" Ty chuckled while kissing my head.
I nodded and then waved to Carter and Aiden. We arrived at school and sat in our usual spots in English.
"I'm serious," Ty laughed.
I smiled and shook my head.
"You don't believe me?" he asked.
No I don't believe that he and Carter had read Twilight!
"Carter wouldn't put it down in fact I wouldn't stop talking once and he threw the book at my head," Ty stated.
I imagined Carter doing this and started laughing which made every person in the class stare at me. I looked down and Ty growled and gave death glares to all the students making them snap their heads forwards.
"Ty," I scolded.
"It's not polite to stare," he added.
"You stare at me all the time," I stated.
He laughed.
"You're beautiful," he shrugged.
I snorted and then faced forward. Ty reached his hand under my chin and pulled my head so that I had to stare him dead in the eye.
"Do you believe that?" he asked.
"What that I'm beautiful, no I don't believe that," I laughed.
"Well believe it, you are," he growled.
"Whatever Ty," I stated.
"Say it," he demanded.
"No, stop it," I complained while pulling my head away from him.
He balled up his fists like he did when he was angry, usually resulting in him throwing something.
Why is he so mad anyway? I'm not beautiful, it's fine. Am I pretty? I wouldn't even say that. I would go with I'm average.
So why the hell is he so mad that I don't believe him? I mean it's not even the truth it's an opinion, his opinion!
The bell rang and I stood up.
"Why don't you believe it?" he said.
"Why are you so mad at me?" I asked.
He stopped and pulled me to the side.
"Aria I'm not mad at you," he replied.
"Yes you are," I pushed.
He sighed.
"I promise I'm not it's just you don't see yourself clearly at all," he groaned.
"Yes I do," I persisted.
"Really?" he snorted.
"Really," I mimicked.
He fake glared at me.
"Then say it," he pushed.
"Say what?" I pressed.
"I Arrabella James Middletin am beautiful," he stated.
"You're strange," I laughed while walking away.
I sat down against my tree, Ty sat next to me.
"Say it," he chanted.
"Tyson," I groaned.
"Arrabella," he mimicked.
"FINE," I shouted.
That earned me a few stares.
"I'm pretty," I sighed.
"Great now say what I told you to say," he smirked.
"No," I shrugged.
"No," he repeated.
"What is the word no not in your vocabulary?" I asked.
He raised his eyebrows at me.
"Were these remarks going through your head every time I talked?" he chuckled.
"Yeah pretty much," I teased. Even though it's true I always answered his questions in my head.
"Come on Ar, for me?" he begged.
"I Arrabella James Middletin am beautiful," I mumbled.
He grinned.
"Was that so hard?" he asked.
"Yeah it actually was," I mocked.
Ty is probably the only person on this planet that honestly believes I'm beautiful.
