《Dear Diary, I Have a Mate》Chapter 2

Dear Diary,
Last night was bad to say the least. Dad came home drunk again or maybe he was high, or both. It was just bad to say the least. My bruises will be difficult to cover today mostly because it's sunny with a high of 85, and I'm going to be wearing long sleeves, jeans, and a scarf.
~Aria
I arrived at school and sighed when everyone was in shorts and tank tops.
If I had friends they would ask me what the hell I was doing in jeans and long sleeves.
I walked into English and sat down by the window.
I stared out of it and remembered last night..
"Why don't you do anything right?" Kick in the gut.
"I swear your mother didn't need this she doesn't need rehab," punch to the face.
"She didn't even have a problem until you were born," he screamed and threw a beer bottle against the wall.
"Then you stop talking and she blames me," he went on.
"Clean this up dammit!"
"Aria," a soft voice pleaded.
I slightly jumped and then remembered I am in English.
I focused in on Ty's worried face.
"I didn't mean to startle you," he apologized.
I shook my head trying to tell him I was okay.
"You do know it's like eighty degrees outside?" he asked amused.
I shrugged.
"At least take that scarf off, you are going to overheat," he said while reaching towards it.
'Don't you think I would if!' I could I screamed in my head.
I shook my head at him.
"Okay but take it off if you get hot," he replied.
Ugh if I take it off you would be able to see my father's finger prints around my neck when he attempted to choke me last night.

I sighed sometimes I don't even know why I was born onto this planet.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
I nodded.
"Hey I didn't mean anything by it," he stated.
I smiled trying to let him know it wasn't his fault.
"You should smile more, you have cute dimples," he grinned.
I grinned at him while feeling heat rise up my neck, was I blushing?
"Oh is that blush I see upon you cheeks?" he asked I almost laughed at his failed attempted accent.
I shook my head and put my head down.
He reached his hand over and put it gently underneath my chin and tilted my head up so I was looking at him.
"Never hide your face from me, I like it when you blush babe," he stated.
I slapped his hand away and mock glared at him.
"You're cute when you're mad," he laughed.
I stuck my tongue out at him just because I didn't have any other way to express my feelings to him.
He just laughed more.
The teacher finally decided to show up and I tried to pay attention but Ty kept looking over at me and smirking!
I kept hitting him when the teacher wasn't looking.
"And that is what your appositive sentences should look like," she kept going.
Another smirk, this time I brought my hand up and was about to bring it down insanely hard but instead of me hitting him he grabbed my hand in his.
I looked over at him and mock glared.
"I didn't want you hurting your hand," he shrugged.
I smiled and then looked to the front of the room, my hand still in his.
I have never had a boyfriend. I used to have a lot of guy friends when I was little, but after it happened I lost all my friends.

The bell rang and I took my hand back from Ty.
UGH, stop smirking! I wanted to yell at him.
"You know you sure do yell at me a lot in your head," he shrugged.
I stood there frozen and watched as he walked out of the room, what the hell just happened?
The rest of the day was slow.
I didn't sit with Ty at break.
In fact I hid from him.
I went into the girl's washroom and sat in a stall for the entire twenty five minutes.
When I heard the bell ring I raced into history and sat down.
I looked up during my lesson and saw that Ty was in the doorway.
The teacher had his head towards the chalkboard.
He kept skimming the desks until his eyes landed on me.
Relief flashed over his face.
He smirked at me, waved, and then walked away.
I sighed, he is crazy.
After history I walked to Chemistry, another class I have with Ty.
He was sitting where we sat yesterday bouncing his leg anxiously in his seat.
He hadn't noticed I had walked in yet, he started drumming his long fingers against the desk. I walked over and placed my hands on top of his large one. Making tingles shoot threw my hand and up my arm.
His head snapped up to me and he jumped out of his seat and gave me a gigantic bear hug; I haven't been hugged since I was seven, ten years ago.
"Aria where were you during break?" he asked as we both sat down in our seats.
I looked at him confused.
"Arrabella," he demanded. I looked anywhere but his face.
"Here draw a picture or write it down, I can help you spell it," he tried.
I almost laughed out of anger. I can spell! I can spell damn well. He thinks I'm stupid.
I shook my head.
"You can't," He stated.
No I can, I won't.
"Why?" he asked.
I sighed and then got up and walked out of the classroom.
I walked over to my locker and shoved my backpack inside.
I walked to the doors of this damn building and walked out.
I couldn't go home, so I walked to the park.
I sat on the swing and kept pushing off with my feet.
I kept getting higher, and higher.
The swing was frantically swerving, but I don't care.
Higher and higher.
All of a sudden it rammed into the swing to the left sending me flying forwards. I tried to use my hands to save my fall but I could only get my left one in front of me fast enough.
I heard a snap and I screamed in pain.
I quickly shut my mouth and tried to move.
I couldn't though, I just laid there and let the darkness take over.
"ARIA," I voice screamed.
"Don't you dare shut your eyes," it demanded.
"Come on, stay with me," he pleaded again, is that Ty?
I felt the ground disappear from underneath me. Where is he taking me?
The pain was too much I slowly let myself drift further and further into the darkness.
