It has been two weeks since my mom told me about the Wolffian. After I detoxed and got back onto the correct medication, I felt like shit. Granted, I was in control again of my wolf and I wasn't blacking out anymore. However, I remembered everything I did to Bailey. I'm the reason Carter has her right now. I'm the reason why she hates me and why we might never be the same again. I'm the reason why I might lose my mate forever.

"Have you picked up anything yet?" I asked, running a hand through my messy hair. I was getting frustrated and tired and my wolf was getting restless. I just want her back.

"We got something." Ryan said, a smile on his face when he burst into my office. My mom gave a small smile.

I stood from my chair and took the paper from Ryan, reading over everything. "What did you find? Is she hurt? Have you seen her? We need to leave right now."

Ryan sighed and sat down across from me. My mom left the room, giving us some privacy. "Calm down, man. One question at a time. We found out she is right across the river. She's literally been under our noses the entire fucking time. We saw some rouges lurking around the abandoned mines and so we followed them into the cave. It goes underground and we're pretty sure she is in there. Her scent is masked but I have a gut feeling about this."

My wolf was going crazy. He's been saying that there was wolfs-bane in her system which is why I can't sense her at all.

"Did you see anyone else there?"

Ryan shook his head. "No, but we don't know how many wolves are down there. There could be more than our pack."

I growled. "I will rip every one of the to shreds. Gather our best warriors and tracker. We're meeting at the south boarder by midnight, no late."

Ryan gave me a mock salute. "Yes, Alpha."

When Ryan left, shutting the door behind him, I smiled, feeling happy for the first time in weeks.

I'm coming, Bailey, no matter how much you might hate me, I'm going to save you.

"Alright, I want you ten to take the back entrance. You twenty follow me and the rest can follow Beta Ryan. Your only goal is to get the Luna back, kill anyone that gets in the way. If you find Jason or Carter, take them and keep them alive. I want to kill them myself. Are we clear?"

All of my men and women nodded. Once we were all ready, I signaled for everyone to go to their assigned positions and we moved out. We were taking the front entrance. There were two guards outside but I snapped their necks quickly and discarded their bodies to the side. The place was too quiet and not a wolf was in sight once we started walking further into the cave. I signaled for us to split up. I kept four wolves with me and we continued through the place, killing any rouges that got into our way. The moonlight shined through the top of the cave, being our only source of light. The full moon was high in the sky and I hope Bailey would be alright tonight.

I kept quiet and hid behind a wall when I saw over five hundred rouges sitting on the ground under the moonlight. My men and I stayed quiet, knowing it would be a suicide mission to try and challenge all of these rouges. I looked around the open space, taking in the entire place. I grew angry when I saw Bailey and Carter on a stage. Bailey was wearing a see-through white dress, everything on display. There were bruises littering her body and her mark on her neck was an ugly bright red color. Her hand was bloody as well as Carter's. I almost screamed when their hands went to touch because she can't be initiated into his pack when she still is tied to mine. It could kill her.

Once their hands touched, something happened. Carter's body was thrown back and Bailey's body went into the air, her body hunching over as a light emitted from her body. Bailey was unconscious and standing directly next to her was the Moon Goddess.

Some of the rouges g up to attack but the Moon Goddess just flicked her hand and forced them all to bow down to her. I felt the urge to bow down too and so I did, as well as my men and all the other men that finally caught up to us. Ryan turned his head toward me, a look of fear on his face. At least someone else was feeling the same way as me too.

Carter got up from the floor and looked angry. He went to advance at the Moon Goddess but she just shook her head and flicked her wrist, having Carter float in the air like Bailey was. The Moon Goddess didn't look happy. "Now, Carter, who do you think you are? Are you trying to harm me? Your only life source as a wolf? I die, you die too. Did you really think, however, that you could kill me? Look at you. You're a pathetic wannabe werewolf who can't even understand the word 'no.'"

Carter growled, trying to advance at the Moon Goddess but he stayed rooted in the air. "I don't know who you are nor do I care but once I'm on the ground, I will tear you to shreds."

"You really want to kill your only power source?"

Carter growled again. "I don't need you."

The Moon Goddess laughed and then stared at all of us. "The only reason why you are all alive, is because of me. If I die, you die as well as every other wolf out there. Your power source is me. Your wolf feels off of my energy to survive. But, dear Carter, you did not know that. You are not a true wolf nor a true Alpha. You took the position and took this pack away from another wolf illegally. Wolves bitten cannot become Alpha and wolves that are bitten is also against the law. Did you know that, Carter?"

"Whatever stupid, bitch. I'm the rightful Alpha and I can do as I want. I don't have to listen to you and your idiotic rules. I make the rules."

The Moon Goddess hummed, a soft smile on her lips. She was clearly enjoying this all. "You think you are the Alpha, do you not? You believe you can do as you please but you are wrong. There are many Alpha's in the world and none of them are like you. None of them kidnap someone else's Luna and mate and try to take her for themselves. No one else would poison another Alpha and cause him to hurt his beautiful mate. You have intentionally caused harm to everyone. You claim to love Bailey yet you try to cut her Alpha mark out of her skin. A mark that lasts forever. You only caused her more and more pain. You are not a true werewolf, Carter, and never learned our history."

Carter frowned. "I know enough."

"I believe you owe someone an apology, Carter."

Carter laughed. "Who? As soon as you let me down, I'm kill you and everyone else in here."

"Go ahead, keep on giving telling me useless threats. Every threat just adds another couple hundred years onto your sentence."

Carter's eyes met mine and he growled. "I am not apologizing to someone that took the love of my life away from me! You are crazy, that's what you are."

I sighed and stood up, bowing my head. "Nice to meet you, Moon Goddess. Thank you for granting me this amazing gift."

She smiled. "The pleasure is all mine. Now, Carter, I am sentencing you to five hundred years of torture and pain. I am sentencing you to jail, where you will live a long and painful life. You will encounter pain you have never felt before, for harming the people you claim to love. Jason gets two hundred years of imprisonment, for helping you do what you did. Carter, when a wolf is born, I give them one mate. I give them their fate and give them someone they can handle and cherish and love forever. You tried defying something that has been happening for thousands of years. Say goodbye, Carter, because you will never see earth ever again. You punishment starts now."

Carter began thrashing around in the air, trying to get free from the invisible shackles. The Moon Goddess snapped her fingers and let Bailey's body slowly descend to the ground. Her eyes fluttered open, a confused expression on her face.

"Since I'm here already, Bailey Scoots, you will shall make your decision now."

What is she talking about?

Bailey nodded. "I'm sorry, but I cannot become the next. I love it here and I hope you find someone that can fulfill your destiny."

The Moon Goddess smiled and patted Bailey on the shoulder. "I expected that to be your answer. I will wait until the next Moon Goddess is born. Bailey, my dear, I do have to leave now. The moon is beginning to lower and the sun is coming up. I wish you the best and a life full of happiness and love. If you ever need me, I am just a shout away on a full moon. I promise that Carter will get the punishment he deserves."

And then, in a flash, the Moon Goddess disappeared with Carter and Jason following behind her.
