《The Alpha's Girl》Chapter 8

I took a deep breath and opened Chance's door, bracing myself for what I was about to see. I stood in the doorway for a few seconds, taking in everything around me. Chance was sitting at a long, wide desk, his head down and a pen in his hand. There were paper's everywhere and he looked busy and stressed. In some way, he sort of looked cute. He had one glasses that I've never seen him wear and, in a way, they made him look younger and innocent.
"Oh great, you're awake." He said, lifting his head up to meet my eyes. He put the pan down on his desk and took off his glasses. He motioned for me to sit down in the chair in front of his desk. When I did, he began talking "Can I help you with something?"
He was clearly enjoying this and I suddenly felt frustrated. I looked down at my fingers and began peeling the nail polish off of my nails. "Well, when can I go home? I don't want to attend some barbeque or be a Luna."
Chance flashed me a smile, showing off his perfect white teeth. "You can't go home because your home is here now, with me. You are my mate and my future Luna and so you belong here. The barbeque is being held in my honor for finding a mate and becoming the new Alpha of the Black Wolves Pack. The barbeque gives you a chance to meet our pack and for you to be initiated into the pack as well."
I huffed, getting a little annoyed again, "Again, this is kidnapping. I want to see my grandparents and my parents and my dogs. Home is wherever you aren't. I will not attend this stupid party. This is all so overwhelming and I'm trying to make sense of this all."

Chance chuckled softly and shook his head. "Alright then, whatever you want, Luna. The barbeque will be held after your first shift coming up, which I'm very certain will happen. I will give you a week to get used to your changes and then you will be initiated into this pack. Blood will be drawn and after you learn to mind link and get used to your place here, I will mark you."
I rolled my eyes. "You are not biting me."
Chance leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath. "I Can't force the bite to be given to you. The bite is more painful if not consented. I have no feelings for you but my wolf does and if I bring pain to you physically, he won't be really happy. I could care less about what you feel and don't feel. I just need you to shift and then your wolf will know what is best for the two of you, which is here with me."
"I don't want any of this."
"I know you don't but you don't really have a choice."
I stood from my chair and began to go towards the door to leave. I stopped and turned around and said something I know will change everything. "I do have a choice and my choice is: I, Bailey Scotts, reject you, Chance Hayes, as my mate."
It was silent for a few moments before Chance's laughed boomed off the walls. "So naïve, little mate. You didn't really think you can reject and alpha, did you? You're stuck with me sweetheart, forever."
I wanted to scream. "Fine, I'll run away."
Chance smiled, putting his glasses back on and going back to his work. "Have fun with that. You won't get through my warrior wolves guarding my boarders. My Beta will drag you right back to me. And if you do ever get through them, I will chase you to the ends of the earth."

I stuck my middle finger up and turned around, wanting to scream as Chance laughed.
I am so fucking screwed.

Later that night, I came up with a plan to escape. Chance was going to sleep in the same room as me and the same bed but I yelled at him and kicked him in the dick. So, he went and slept in the guest bedroom down the hallway from the room I was in. He told me after I wake up that I can meet everyone who lives in the pack house but when he awakes, I'll be long gone.
When he went down to talk to his mom and dad later on in the day, I sneaked onto his laptop and bought a plane ticket to go to London. I know someone that lives there and would willingly let me stay if I ever needed to. My ex-boyfriend's sister lives there and after what he did to me, I don't think she could ever say no. Her and I talk every once in a while, and I think she misses me just as much as I miss her.
After gathering up a few things, like clothes, my phone, my wolf necklace, some food, and my plane ticket, I opened my bedroom door and peaked out. I heard nothing so I slowly opened the door even more and tip toed down the stairs to the back door in the kitchen. I grabbed the keys off of the kitchen counter and went outside to the parked car. When I was inside of t, I started the car up and began driving to the airport.
Chance tried scaring me about his guards coming and stopping me but I figured out their schedule for when they switch shifts and was able to give myself a ten-minute escape route.
When I got tot eh airport, there was barely anyone inside. I was suddenly feeling really scared and something deep down inside of me was telling me that I was going to regret this later on. I needed to get away and this was my only chance so I couldn't blow it. I couldn't risk this. I needed to leave and get far away from him and his weird world. Once I was off the plane, I would call my family and let them know that I escaped and how I was doing and that I'm safe.
"Flight 221 to London is boarding now. Flight 221 to London is boarding now."
I got up from the chair I was sitting in and went to the boarding area and handed the woman my ticket, "Enjoy your flight."
"Thank you." I said, hiking my carry-on bag higher onto my shoulder.
I hurried inside and placed my bag on top in the storage and then took the window seat. The moon was high in the sky and I frowned, knowing my days of being a real human could possibly be ending soon. I didn't want to turn into a furry beast.
"Alright everyone, please buckle up your seat belts, we are taking off in one minute. Enjoy your flight."
As I was buckling my seat belt, I saw a figure sit down next to me. I looked up and my eyes widened in fear.
Right next to me was Chance fucking Hayes.
