Damon growled. He was so close. Now he was just pissed off.
"I'll be there shortly."
Anna had closed off once more. Damon sighed and kissed her forehead.
"Wait here. I'll be back but I'll send Red and Ben up."
She nodded and he walked out of the room closing the door. She sank down on the bed. A million and one thoughts filtered through her mind as she waited.
"Tsk tsk."
She froze.
"I expected better of you. Where did my obedient little girl go?"
He was behind her laughing in a soft menacing laugh.
"Obedience Anna. You know what I want."
She immediately got up from the bed and knelt on the floor with her head bent. Still she hadn't looked at him, she didn't have permission.
She saw his feet as he got closer and she started shaking. Her fear only fueled his drive to push on further. He squatted in front of her and touched her hair.
"Oh my Anna... how beautiful you've become... and how stupid!"
She flinched. She wanted to beg his forgiveness but without his permission she couldn't speak. Good girls are seen but not heard.
"Do you really think they can protect you Anna? They're just as stupid as you. Where are they now? Hmmm? Where are they while I'm here... chasing their fucking tails!" Again he laughed.
"Mmmmm are your eyes still as pretty my lovely... look at me."
Her head was raised and she looked at him. He hadn't changed that much apart from a deep tan. His eyes really were beautiful and his skin smooth...
"Oh my darling girl I can see that you're remembering. I've waited for you my darling. I've watched you grow. Some things you do are disappointing but I guess I must let you grow up a little."

His hand traced down her face and along the side of her neck to her chest.
"Don't look at me!" he hissed and she quickly dropped her gaze from him. He stood up and walked to the other side of the room and back again
"I heard you Anna. You were going to tell that arsehole about our secret place. Don't. Do you understand?"
She nodded.
"Good girl. I'll be back for you Anna. When you're eighteen you shall be in my arms again. I will have you Anna. No one will ever take you away from me. I am proud that you didn't remove your clothes for him. You're too pure for someone like that. Keep denying him my darling and you will be rewarded."
Footsteps were heard by them both and her eyes opened wide. He bent down quickly and kissed her cheek.
"I'll be back darling."
He was gone without her seeing exactly where he went. She just knew he walked away.
She stayed there shaking as Red burst through the door and dropped the bowl of popcorn she was holding. Her hands flew to her mouth and she yell whispered "Anna? Why are you like that?"
Ben looked past Red and rage filled his face "Did Damon tell you to do this?"
She shook her head.
"Get up!" Red screamed at her, Anna got up. Ben sighed a sigh if welcome relief. She wasn't like they found her before.
"Anna did you do this on your own?" he hoped so.
"No" she whispered.
"Oh fuck. Anna was it Gregory?"
Silence filled the room as it was broen with ragged breathing.
Anna looked at her friends "I'm so scared... he's coming back... to get me when I'm eighteen."
"He was in this room? Just now?" Red asked in shock.
"Yes."
Ben came to her and grabbed her hand and as he passed by Red he grabbed hers too and pulled them both out of the room and down the stairs.
He saw one of Lucas' guards in the door if the kitchen looking to see what the noise was.
Ben screamed out "HE'S IN THE GOD DAMNED HOUSE!"

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
