"Kiren, Kai let's go! We have to get going."

I annoucuate to my five-year-old sons. They should have finished getting dressed and ready by now. We're going to do some grocery shopping.

"We're coming mom."

"Coming."

First says Kiren followed by Kai. I remember when I use to not be able to tell their voices apart. Kiren and Kai would play pranks on me and use it against me. My two pranksters had a blast playing tricks on their mother. That is until Kira had a talk with them and nipped it in the bud.

While I think I'm the more strick parent, sometimes my husband can be as stern as me. Especially when he's using that deep Russian tone of his.

The two of them come running down the stairs wearing matching blue t-shirts, blue jeans and black sneakers.

"What did I tell you guys about running down the stairs?"

I screeh. They know better.

"You say not to run because we could get hurt."

"Right. So if you know, why were you guys running."

"We forgot momma. Sorry." They say at the same time. I shake my head and rub the top of there heads. Holding my stern face a little longer before I smile at them.

"Okay. Let's go grocery shipping. Momma is missing some stuff to make dinner then we're going to papa's office."

I take both their hands going out. Locking our front door. We moved a few years back to a nice suburban area into the most beautiful one of a kind home. Perks of being married to an architect. Kira and I designed it so it's exactly what we wanted from the ground up.

"We're going to see papa?"

Kai asks looking up at me.

I peer down at him. Seeing his button nose and features, his carmel skin a shade in between mine and Kira's. Kai and Kiren are the same color. Their hair is still neat from a recent hair cut.

"Mmmh. We're going to pick him up. Papa lent his co-worker Austin his truck."

His eyes stare on with curiosity. One blue the other amber like Kira's. His heterochromia, is unique and makes him who he is. Kai hadn't always liked this trait about himself. When they first started school years back, he came home asking so many questions about why one of his eyes is blue and the other is a different color.

He said he was teased about it on his first day. I held him as he cried. My poor baby. Its only since after years of Kira and I telling him how special it makes him, that nothing is wrong with him, that he eventually came to love his eyes.

We head to my jeep. An all white Mercedes that Kira bought me for our first wedding anniversary. They climb in. I looked behind the rear seeing my boys strap in their boster seats.

"All set." I ask them.

They are my entire world.

"Yes. Let's go momma."

Say kiren who is excited.

"Okay then let's go."

"Mom can I get this?"

I put down the bag of chips I was reading the ingredients list. They have milk in them. Why I have no idea but that's the case with most foods today. Turning around I see Kai holding up a box of Famous Amous cookies, towards me.

I know they aren't vegan, because I used to eat them before I changed my diet years ago. He's giving me those puppy dog eyes he knows I can't resist.

I look around searching for Kiren.

"Where's your brother?"

Kai looks back from here he must have gotten the cookies. We don't see him in the aisle. Kiren knows to not wonder off.

Where is he?

Please don't tell me somthing happened to my baby. Completely forgetting about my cart. I grab Kai's hand going to search for Kiren.

"Kiren!"

I drag Kai with me as we search for my other son.

"Kiren! Where are you?"

I go into the aisle beside the one we're in. He's not there.

Where is he?

"Kiren!"

"He's with me. Over here!"

Yells a man. I move faster to the direction of his voice. A few aisles down from where we were originally. His back is towards me as he's bent down to Kiren's eye level.

"See I told you I'd help you find your mom."

Going over them, Kiren runs into my arms holding me. His face press into my stomach.

"Momma I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get lost." He cries holding me tightly.

"Its okay. Shhh. It's okay I'm here now." I whimper tearing up myself as I rub his shoulders in attempt to calm him down. Kai comes and hugs his brothers as well.

His savior let's out a cough breaking our reunion.

"Ehmm."

"Thank you." I say looking up from my kids. The person I find is none other than Lucas.

"Thanks for finding him."

"Wait. Is that you Eureka?"

I shake my head. I didn't expect to see him. I haven't seen him since that awkward day at the airport be brought Kira's keys. He didn't come to our wedding.

"Yes it's me. Thank you again, we have to get going."

Before I can move he yells out. "Wait! There's something I need to tell you."

"What is it?"

Frankly I don't want to hear what he has to say but I feel it wouldn't be nice of me since he found my son. I wipe Kiren's tears. Looking at Lucas wondering what he could possibly have to say after all these years.

"You're still as beautiful as I remembered. Are these your children?"

"Thank you. They are."

"Wow. Well I won't keep you. It was nice seeing you again. I'm so sorry about what happened that day at the airport. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

He's apologizing.

"No problem Lucas. It's in the past. I wish you the best. Come on guys we have to finish shopping so we can get papa from work."

I take one last look at Lucas. He looks the same tall, brown hair blue eyes. There's some line around his eyes showing he's aged a little these past few years.

With that we head back to my forgotten shopping cart. Since the boys had quite a scare with Kiren getting lost I decide it's okay to get them the cookies. I'll have to talk with Kiren about wondering off later. He's had enough trauma for today right now. But I'll be giving him a good talking to once he calms down.

After getting everything from my shopping list. We went to check out then head to the parking lot to my jeep. Kiren and Kai helped me with the lighter bags, as I packed things away in the trunk.

"Thank you guys for helping."

"You're welcome."

They say together. This happens often. Kiren and Kai saying a word or phrase at the same time. They always laugh whenever it happens. I think it's cute. Once I finish we bring back the cart. Kiren ans Kai followed me. Not being too far. They're still pretty scared from earlier's incident.

"Whoes ready to see papa?"

"Me. Me too."

"Same here. Let's go. He's probably tired since we're running a little late."

Kiren and Kai scream as they run into Kira's arms. Like the mountain strong man he is. He braces himself effortlessly picking them up. Holding both of them at the same time. With a grin so bright and wide he comes towards me where I'm standing, near the entrance of his firm. He looks sexy in his element. Fatherhood looks so good on him.

"Hey guys. Hi sweetheart." He whispers once he's close to me. Going in for a smooth melting kiss that makes my knees quake like it's our first kiss. Hmm. I love this man so much.

"Ewww."

"Momma and papa are kissing."

Says kiren breaking our sweet moment. I peck his lips again needing another taste of him.

"Hi. Did I make you wait too long?"

"No. Never. How was grocery shopping?"

I hold around his waist as we exit going to my vehicle.

"Eventfull. Kiren got lost. You'll never guess who found him."

Kiren and Kai get in strapping in their seats. Kira and I do the same. He's driving. He turns back looking at our boys.

"Are you okay Kiren?"

"I'm okay papa. A nice man found me."

"Who?" Says Kira looking back at me.

"Lucas."

"Oh."

"Yeah. He even apologized for how he acted."

Kira pulls off onto the road. His grip on the steering wheel so tight his knuckles begin to grow white.

"Baby I'm okay. He didn't try anything."

"Okay, as long as you're okay. What did you guys buy with mom."

He asks shifting the subject. Kiren and Kai begin to go into some of the items we purchased for tonight's dinner. Tonight is a special night. Its not an anniversary or anything like that. But I found out somenews I can't wait to share with Kira. News I know he'll be over the moon for.

I'm going to break it to him and the boys over dinner. I know it's something they've been wanting too.

When we arrive home, as a family we all help, caring inside the bags. Mostly with Kira going all macho, carrying in most of them. Kiren and Kai help with the light ones and I have the pack of toilet tissue left over. Last minute I remembered we're running out.

As a family of four we run out of stuff like this quickly.

We enter into our open floor plan living room that flush into our main dining room behind which has a large island connected to our luxury chef's dream kitchen. I switch on the lights. Obsidian and grey comes running toward us.

Grey is our second cat. Kiren and Kai named him. He's a mostly grey main coon cat.

"Grey."

Says Kai. He places his bag down in order to pet him. He's a beautiful Maine coon cat. I've always wanted go get a Maine conn. We got him when kiren and Kai turned three as their birthday present.

Kira places the bags he's carrying on top the island. I leave the toilet paper in the closet near the foyer. I'll bring it upstairs later.

"Mom can we go watch my hero Academia while we wait for dinner?"

Asks Kiren.

"Of course honey."

Him as his brother head to the living room switching on my Chrunchy roll account on the flat screen. I look at them seeing they're already hyper focus as the opening starts.

"Detka. Do you need me to leave these out?"

He ask holding up a bag of onions.

"No they can stay out side the fridge. Let me help you."

I head beside him and we work in harmony unloading the groceries. This is how a normal night in the Bychkov household goes.

"Does it taste good guys?" I turn to my children and my husband.

Kiren and Kai are so busy eating with their mouths full they can only nod their heads. We're eating at the table as most nights we make sure to have dinner together as a family especially on the weekend.

"Its delicious baby."

Answers Kira after he chews.

Here goes nothing Eureka.

"That's good. I have some good news."

"Good news."

"Yeah... I'm pregnant."

Kira literally drops his fork. The clanking sound of it on his plate causes Kiren and Kai to pay attention to our conversation.

"Come again Detka."

"I'm pregnant."

"We're having another baby?" He asks.

"Yes. I took three pregnancy tests today and they all came back positive. I'm pregnant baby."

"Momma what's going on?"

Asks Kiren. Him and Kai stare on confused about what we're talking about.

"Momma is having a baby honey. That means pretty soon you and Kai will have a new baby sister or baby brother."

I explain further. Upon hearing this both Kiren and Kai get up coming around the table to where I'm sitting. Both of them place a palm on my still flat belly. There faces are filled with joy and excitement for this. They been wanting a younger sibling.

"We're going to have a baby sister?"

Says Kai.

Well maybe but it could also be another boy.

"Maybe honey. Momma doesn't know if it's a girl or boy yet."

"We're going to have a baby sister!"

Yells Kiren. I nod at his excitement smiling further. Kira gets up coming to stoop in front me. He rubs my stomach while staring with so much joy and happiness in his gaze.

"Thank you baby. I'm so happy right now."

"Yeah. Me too. I hope it's a girl this time but if it's a boy that's okay too."

"Mmmh. Same."

Kira leans in kissing my stomach. Our baby hasn't formed much yet but I know whatever their gender, he or she will be blessed and loved like no other by us, by our family.
