The king was FURIOUS. The murder of the churches desciples and the audacity of the mage hero enraged him. Buy there was nothing he could do if the mage did not leave the tower. He'd had his nights try to break in but they were killed by the cursed barrier. Therefore, all he could do was wait...
"Your majesty!"
"What?! I've no time for your nonsense! I've got a scandal and two monsters disguised as heroes to deal with! If you're bringing me trivial news I'll have you're head!"
"Your highness, the mage Hero is making a statement!"
"WHAT?!"
~meanwhile~
All throughout the world a broadcast of the mage hero was being made.
"I would like to address the elephant in the room... as I'm sure you all are aware, sometime yesterday a group of nuns at the church of 3 heroes was brutally murdered and a symbol was drawn. I did some digging and found that this symbol is alchemic/spiritual symbol."
"I wasn't aware of how diverse the races were. Originally I was only aware of the humans and demihumans, dwarves and sucu. but now I know that there are many more. When I first communes with the god of spirits he told me that spirits once lived alongside humans. They used to bless the lands using their magic and even made pacts with humans. But that was thousands of years ago. The god told me that the humans grew jealous and greedy. The humans led by the church, enslaved spirits. They sealed them inside weapons and used their powers up till they died. They only ever managed to seal weaker spirits in the weapons, but it was more than enough. The spirit god tried to negotiate but the church refused and even tried to seal him. The god, angered, accepted that as a declaration of war and the spirits turned violent towards humans. They caused droughts, famines, and even burned down villages. People did not know peace. The royal family summoned the 4 cardinal heroes to fight their war, but the shield hero seeing that the war was brought on by the selfishness of the church, decided to do his best minimizing casualties of the people by distributing medicine and negotiating with the spirits. The spirits agreed not to harm those who did not cause them harm, but they would never aid humans again. However, the heroes did something despicable. They killed the fire king Ifrits wife Shiva. Ifrit had always hated humans cause they were selfish and greedy. But Shiva loved humans dearly. So, she never lifted her blessing. When they killed Shiva, the Shield hero defended her. But the heroes killed Shiva and the Shield hero... and harvested Shivas body. In response, Ifrit burned down melromarc and killed the loved ones of the heroes. The god of spirits summoned a champion of their own, and together they freed the captured spirits. The spirits left the realm never to return, and for a long time it was hard for crops to grow and magic was weaker than before. Many people believed that the spirits abandoning them was the reason, and they called for the heroes heads as they were the ones who pissed off ifrit and chased away the kindest spirit king. And although it was ultimately the church who started the whole thing, no one dared to challenge them for fear of losing their chance at salvation. So, in an attempt to appease the spirits, they burned the heroes and their parties at the stake. It only angered the spirits further. My predecessor made this announcement on behalf of the spirit god:

"Recently after the wave where I was gifted a light spirit I was asked to visit the castle. Before I went a knight and nun interrupted my brief relaxation. When I told them I was relaxing they insulted me, calling me a slur and breaking things. When they caused trouble I attacked them and told them to leave and that I would go when I was ready. They told me that I was a heretic and was commiting treason. When I went to the throne room I asked the king to uphold justice for me, but he refused. Not only that, but he denied the princesses wrongdoings. The high priest then demanded that I relinquish my gift to him. I refused and warned him of retribution from our gods before leaving. Gods always watch us, especially the spirits and their god. Since no one wanted to uphold justice for me, the spirits did. And this, this is the result. Now I'm sure you all are wondering 'mage hero, could the waves not be the result of the spirits? Could they not have summoned the waves?' And the answer is no. Even if all the spirits came and pooled their power they be able to create maybe one small wave. And that's something that is not worth it for them as it would create more casualties for them. Only a could create such a phenomenon as the waves. A strong one. 'But mage hero, doesn't the spirits have a god?' Yes they do. He's newly ascended and is a mere fetus in age and power compared some of the gods from folklore of my world. To put it in comparison, some gods were alive before earth was a thing and are even believed to have created the world and life itself. And the world is over 3 billion years old.... sooooo, he's nowhere NEAR qualified enough to pull off a stunt like the waves. Now for the final question that I'm sure you all have been to know... what are the waves who's causing them, and how do we end it? Well, I can't tell you that right now~! I haven't received clearance from the church or king. Teehee! Bu~t when the queen gets back and sets things straight we'll see. For now I'll say this, the waves are a and it's caused by a . As I'm sure you all saw, a girl with weapons not unlike legendary or vassal weapons came through the tears, it's proof that there are indeed other worlds connected to this one. The waves are, in a sense, parallel world's grinding on each other violently at the same time causing tears. It's not a natural occurrence. As for how to stop them, there's a way. The waves serve a purpose to the god who's causing them, but I believe the main goal of them is the destrucion of the world's so they can make way for a new one. The waves are only getting more difficult, it's clear that the god sending them is making them harder on purpose. The god doesn't want the heroes to stop the waves, and thus is increasing the difficulty of them in order to eliminate them. If we all die then new ones can be summoned yes, but they would be seriously underleveled for the next wave and would die fruitlessly. The final wave isn't just a chance for us heroes to return home, It's a opportunity to confront the wicked being, and claim justice for those lost. However, the heroes are rather uncooperative with each other and don't use their brain. They only go for the boss rather than protect the village, and they can't even come together to figure out how to properly defeat the boss! That's why I'm telling you to come to my tower! We'll teach you how to create security measures against the waves and monsters, self defense, and so much more! No one's even stopped by after all the work I've done for you guys, and all the preparations for this place?! Come one! I'm trying to help you guys here! Alright, yknow What? I'll sweeten the deal. "What? WHAT Nikolav? What could be so important that you'd interrupt my stream! I'm trying to convince people to visit the tower you-"
"The spirits bright some seriously high level monsters but we're having trouble getting them assimilated to their floors. They're trying to eat the minor beasts- aaaaaahg!"
"Wha-!? Are you okay?! Come in Niko! Niko?! Niko Niiiiii-!"
Stream cuts off there.
"...She's made trouble for us and the church, but we can't do anything with that barrier. What of the shield hero and melty?"
"Everything is going as planned your majesty."
"Good good... but what the Mage Hero said is worrying... what of the queen?"
"She is still in Stilvelt as far as we're aware your highness."
"Keep an ear out. She's always been unpredictable."

The Summoned - Complete
In a world of magic, ruled by many warring races, the human kingdoms are being pushed to the brink of collapse. In a desperate bid to gain the strength to stand on an equal footing with the other nations, they perform a forbidden ritual to summon combat slaves from another dimension. Unluckily for them, Mors Letus, recently named by their world's God of Death, was one of them. **** Warning **** This is a re-release (The Summoned) of the first book I wrote in partnership with my brother (who later forced the story to be pulled (It was released on his account here)). I have started writing my own version of the story (BOM: The Summoned) and will continue to primarily invest in that, though, now I have permission to re-release this one, I plan finish this as I have the drafts and it was close to the end of the first book. Many characters/scenes and events match/Will match BOM: The Summoned, especially in future arc's (Past Flatner forest). If you don't like spoilers, don't want to get confused between the two stories or hate first attempts at writing (god awful grammar/sentence structure and storytelling), I would advise against reading.
