Nobody came by. That's to be expected though. I practicly spit in the churches face and it's the main religion... I settled for robbing the church discreetly. Yeah you heard that right. I robbed the church. For the past few days I'd been using Umbras powers and my magic and spirit pact with Damien to sneak around and Rob those whores. I stole all their artifacts, their gold and incriminating documents. Proof of their involvement in assassination attempts, the summoning of all the heroes, blasphemous researches(which I stole so they can't use teehee!😋), and the plan to kill the queen and melty.... I sent copies of the documents to the queen and hooboy I could feel the rage. I sent her a message telling her not to worry about melty cause naofumi would take care of her. I just told her to get back ASAP to stop the churches bullshit. I told her that the pope had a special artifact on him that imitates the other legendary weapons, but I didn't try to snatch it in fear of being discovered.

Although she understood, it didn't make her any less angry at the situation. I also searched for Glass and her companions. It wasn't hard cause she was locked on by my mecha suit form, but also because she came to me. Whilst I was talking to a shadow they entered in disguise.

"To think that my first guests would be heroes from another world sent by a shitty Goddess via her waves." They are immediately on guard. "No need for that. You approached me first and are on my turf. I know you aren't dumb enough to attack me when here, and I know you have questions for me. Come, step into my office where we can talk.

We were only summoned right before the second wave of this world. You've seen it right? The twisted nature of this world... the corruption of its people... we were new to this world and had no idea. Well, the others didn't. I have extensive knowledge of this world from my own. More on that Later. The first month we were here is where the bad things went down. Long story short, all of us were summoned to melromarc where I'm a anomaly and the shield is a devil. Naofumi having never played an games was unaware of the importance of his class and the other three spouted nonsense about the tank class. I mean, they claim to play MMO's but think the tank is useless!? As a healer and DPS main I know that the tank is really important! They draw the attention of the enemy away from the DPS and Healers so they can do their job without dying using their ludicrously high defense and their agro skills. It's bullshit I tell you! bullshit! and the fact that there was a lack of mage And healer representation in the original story WAS BLASPHEMY!!! UTTER BLASPHEMY! A DISGRACEFUL ACT AGAINST US ALL AND A SERIOUS SPIT IN OUR FACES! WE ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT YOU SHITTY GOOOOOOOODDEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!"

at this point I'm spitting fire and breaking everything.

The room is now trashed. "*pant*pant**gulps down tea* Sorry I just needed to get it out. Playing the tank isn't my style but I have a respect for them. Not only have they been known to be the last man standing 99% of the time, but they make the rest of our jobs easier. Which is why as healer we prioritize the tanks health more than the dps. If the tank falls we have to waste time rezing them when we could be casting debuffs and buffs and healing. Once the tank falls the rest of us fall like bricks if we're inexperienced or underprepared. Naofumi being the only other competent hero, as you witnessed Mrs Glass, is rather bad for us. Anyway, as I was saying, the first day we were here went like this:

No one wanted to party with said tank cause he didn't know much of this world... or me cause I'm a literal bomb as you just witnessed...

1 person volunteered to be the shields sword but framed him for rape and stole his stuff in the middle of the night.

Narrowly avoiding a death sentence and being mocked by the whore who turned out to be the princess like this😜 when no one was looking and she dropped the fake tears, he was left with nothing and became an outcast.

That night bandits approached him to join his party but only wanted his money and to sell him to slavery.

He was approached by a slaver who sold him a tanuki demi-human who became his sword

Timeskip to the first wave where the heroes went after the boss and left the village to the monsters, the knights rained fire on the village attempting to kill Naofumi and the villagers with the monsters

1 wave later and naofumi has the gratitude of the villagers and goes to the castle. He's challenged by the princesses boy toy to free raphtalia even though slavery is legal and he has not once abused Raphtalia. To put it into context, Raphtalia had nightmares as her family and village was killed by a wave boss right before she was sold into slavery. She had several masters who returned her because of her screaming in the night due to her nightmares. The few masters before Naofumi tortured her extensively before returning her in ways I dare not repeat because, just no. Especially since she was just a small child. Naofumi bought her, fed her, gave her clothes and medicine and taught her how to be brave because he can't afford to keep her if she can't fight...

Anyways naofumi was primed to win but malty interefered and everyone in the audience were ordered to keep quiet by the king because they were all nobles and value their lives and money more than appropriate duel conduct. That was the breaking point where he unlocked the wrath shield which is that shield he used in the wave where he loses his mind...any questions before we move on?"

They all just have aghast looks on their faces. But Glass is the one who speaks.

"Why is the shield a Devil in this country?"

"Because of the previous shield hero. the last shield hero fought in the Melromarc Stilvelt war on the side of Stilvelt. Here demi-humans are slaves and are treated extremely poorly, especially as slaves. They've always been at Each others throats but during the war the kings sister was taken hostage by a vassal hero of Stilvelt. Things escalated after her supposed death which was actually faked with the help of the shield hero. The two actually fell in love but knew their love would not be accepted by either country, hence the faked death. But because of that and the shield hero stopping the war he is considered a devil here in melromarc. It's always been that way because of the goddesses will, but it was reinforced due to the actions of the previous hero. The hatred that the king feels towards the shield and the churches fanatic faith in the fake Goddess spurs it on."

L'Arc speaks next. "Why do you keep referring to the Goddess disrespectfully?"

"Because she's a SKANKY, WHORISH, TRASHY, SLUTTY, POWER HUNGRY, DICK CRAZY PIECE OF GARBAGE AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE WITH WHAT I KNOW, YOU DAFT BLIND CUNT!" Repaired Table has been Flipped and split in twain.

"Explain." Glass says with a dark look.

"*Ahem* Yes well think about it this way, the shield hero is much weaker than you and the goddess much stronger. Strong enough to bring you back to life. Now, natural disasters are indeed something a hero of low level can create but world ending disasters that make world's collide like the waves? Waaaaaay above our paygrade. Especially since theirs at least 9 world's involved. And that's not even including the parallel world's us legendary heroes are from! There are four legendary heroes in each world and each are from a different parallel earth. And then there's me. That's WAY too many world's for a mere hero to pull together. But for a goddess? That's likely a trivial matter. The shield hero has ALWAYS been a thorn in that skanks side because The real reason for the waves and heroes is for her farming pleasure. At the final wave she'll come and annihilate the world and reset it. Taking all the skills and experience with her. If we even make it to that wave..."

Glass trembles. Therese takes this turn to speak. "How.... how do you know all this? Are you perhaps a... demigod?"

I smirk... "while it's nice to be compared to a powerful higher being, no. I'm not. I'm from a world where this world is fake. Nothing more than a story written by a person."

I spend the next hour explaining things that I will not write about because I'm Lazy and that's too much FUCKING WORK. And it'd just be more recaps and an info dump not needed if you exist in this world which you do you little knobs... don't push my buttons or the journey will end here I swear to god! I send them back to the lobby and the the shadow goes to report to the queen looking extremely disturbed, with what we talked about being no small reason.

"Tell the queen that I'm going to be... unavailable. I'm going to start seeding out the churches human assets. Their shadows and nuns are going to die... The church has done seriously bad things against the spirits over the years, and now they're even turning against heroes and doing blasphemous experiments. By the way, I have more ideas that I'd be willing to share with the crown if I can have the church. Their policies are ass and I want to fix them... so let her know that as well. And I will indeed make it look like divine retribution and she can't change my mind. It's coming and I refuse to be denied my retribution for my hubbies race. Now go." So she did.

The very next day news of a nun massacrehaving happened spread like wildfire. The newspaper spread throughout the countries showed no images of the bodies. Instead it gave a description of the murders and a picture of a symbol written in blood.
