The real beauty and essence of mornings can only be experienced through tranquillity. There's a certain feeling, a certain connection with the universe we all are bound to feel when watching the night sky change colors and then see the sun make its way out, giving us another day to live, to experience, to grow, to fight and make it through.

The cerulean blue provides a feeling of calmness while the wild breeze induces a feeling of playfulness.

The sun shines brightly like the jovial dimply smile of one, while the tree provides shadow, like the protection of the other's embrace.

The warmth keeps the soul secure while the coolness of the wind keeps it wild. They say that opposite attracts, and nature has proved it at each step, with each moment.

The same happened in this household as she grumbled down the staircase muttering and cursing.

"Ek kaam Nahi hota ense... Pagal kardiya ha dono baap beti ne,"

A flash of something white caught her attention as she saw the little light of her life running towards the door when she called her.

"Where do you think you are going, missy?"

Not having time to explain as the little hurricane just screamed the answer and ran out all ready for the day.

"To help mama,"

And just like that, her daughter was out of sight, knowing how she is a happy camper at both houses and never misses the chance to enjoy everything attention, she just shook her head, getting more annoyed.

"Bilkul Apne Baba pe gayi ha,"

That statement was not exactly wrong, because their 4 years old daughter, Zahra Aarish Sheikh was the perfect hybrid of her parents.

With the eyes, attitude, and possessiveness of her father, and the face, personality, and bubbliness of her mother, she is the light of both Dilshad villa and Noor palace.

4 years ago, they were blessed with this little human to love, care for, protect and raise. She is proud to say that they did an amazing job at bringing their daughter up.

Especially Aarish, he is the perfect and dedicated father. He was the one who would tell her to sleep as he cooed and played with their daughter saying she got Zahra for all day and he won't miss more time away from their angel.

In these years many things have changed, their life, their priorities, and their relationships but her husband's craziness and majnu behavior as Asher called it just increase with the passing years.

Entering the kitchen she sighed as another loud question rang through the house and reached her ears but this time she just played dumb.

"Mera Bhai kab se dia... Dia... Kar Raha ha Bibi... Reham Karo,"

She was busy making breakfast when she got startled by the voice that belonged to her one and only best friend.

"Anabia! You scared me...,"

"Yay... Look baby we scared Mami Jaan... Mission accomplished,"

Rolling her eyes at the woman who stood with her 2 years old in her arms, Sadia still can't believe this woman is the mother of one kid now.

She smiled at the giggling baby as she moved to hug her bestie and take the baby from her arms. Holding the baby, she tickles his tummy making him laugh louder.

"Yes, because you two are quite sneaky... Asher Bhai got his hands full, Haina Rayan... Haina,"

Another loud call rang through the house and Sadia just rolled her eyes while Anabia chuckled at her friend's grumpy face.

"What? Why are you so annoyed Subha Subha? Bhai ne sone Nahi Diya kya?"

Sadia looked baffled at her bestie's bashful and shameless question as she hold the baby close with a scowl glaring hotly at the woman who smile victoriously.

"Anabia Sharam kar...,"

"What now? Don't act all prude missy, you teased me a lot and when it's your turn you go all blushing bride... That's not fair,"

Ignoring her friend, she turned away from the stove as the heat will make the baby uncomfortable.

"Come Rayan, let's go away from your shameless mama...,"

"Had ha...,"

"Had toh ha... So how did you come here this early? Raat ko Toh I am a good bahu and wife... I can't come leaving my household unattended Ka lecture de rahi thi,"

Now it's Anabia's turn to roll her eyes, but then she smiled sheepishly at the glare her best friend threw at her.

"Well... I can't miss my niece and nephew's first fancy dress competition... I get these two late lateef father and son duo up and ready, so we can crash the breakfast here,"

It was not a surprise to Sadia because Anabia and Asher practically live here. With Asher's parents living in England, they don't miss the chance to have some family time with everyone here.

Not like anyone care, it's fun to have the always bickering couple around and their chubby baby is just the bonus.

"Now tell me what dress you both mother and daughter choose? Imaan api told me how Bhai get the kids the costume... But I know you both won't settle for that one... So tell me, spill the tea,"

Sadia smirked at her friend, making Anabia smirk in return because they both know each other too well.

"Let's just say your Bhai won't get to see his Princess in the princess outfit he picked,"

"I knew it,"

"Will Bhai like it at all?"

"I doubt it...,"

"oh la la... You are in trouble,"

"Han... Han Dekh lo gi main... Anything for my troublemaker,"

Anabia shook her head with a smile, it's always like this, Aarish trying to do things the decent way but the troublemaker duo always put their two cents in, and boom, it's a recipe for disaster but that man still loves them to bits.

Before they can talk further they heard loud steps down the staircase and soon the annoyed voice of Aarish Sheikh can be heard through the house.

"Tu Phir aa gaya,"

"Mera susral ha... Do you have an issue?"

"Han... Teri shakal Nahi dekhni Subha Subha...,"

"Nah Dekh... Mujhe bhi shoq Nahi ha... Kya bechari Sadia Bhabhi ki kismat... Ek shauhar Mila wo bhi jalad...,"

"Kya Bola kamine,"

Anabia and Sadia shook their heads as they moved toward the kitchen door to see the duo throwing insults at each other without any shame.

"Ho gaye yeh dono shuru...,"

"What will we do with them?"

"Is there any refunding policy?"

"I wish,"

Sadia sighed in relief as Noor beghum voiced her annoyance and told her son to end this meaningless banter.

"Aarish stop it... He is your brother-in-law now... At least respect that,"

Aarish just scoffed at the words, still glaring at the man who smirked proudly. But like always he can't see Asher win the battle so he has to say something to burn his friend.

"I will respect him if I don't know all his secrets in the 20 years history I knew him...,"

Now Anabia frowned at her brother's words and glared at her husband who was glaring at her brother.

"Bhai tell me those secrets,"

"You wouldn't dare Aarish...,"

"Aww scared are we Asher?"

Mocking his friend he looked at the kitchen door and smiled brightly when he saw her standing there with his nephew in her arms.

"Abbey saale... Ji,"

Smiling helplessly at Noor beghum who is now used to these moments in her life, he glared at his friend who moved toward his wife with a smile on his face. That sight was only reserved for his wife, daughter, and the kids around Aarish.

"Kamina bipolar majnu... Bia aese toh na Dekho yar... He is just putting things in your mind,"

"We will continue this discussion at home,"

Pleading with his wife who was still looking at him, he gulped while Aarish just smirked and put all his attention on his woman.

He almost hold her but since they were standing in the kitchen doorway with his sister, he tried to keep it Pg for his blushing wife's sake.

"I called you so many times... Why didn't you listen,"

"Because it's the same as usual... I came down after putting your things on the bed... Your watch, wallet, handkerchief, laptop bag, files, and even your favorite car keys are there on the bed... And yet you always call me,"

"You missed one thing,"

"What?"

She lists all things in her mind, still confused about what he is talking about when he taps his lips discreetly and her eyes got widened to the size of saucers.

"I am just gonna pretend I didn't see that... I am going instead, don't do anything that will scar my baby boy for life,"

Rolling their eyes at Anabia's words they looked at her who went into the kitchen to give the still very much in love couple a moment.

"What do you want except that?"

"Well, my wallet is not on the bed... And I can't find my princess, she is not ready and we will definitely be late... And about that thing... I will have it later,"

Sadia bit her lips at this shameless man's antics as she smiled at him but soon frowned when she remembered Putting the wallet with things.

"I put the wallet with your things though... And don't worry after breakfast I will get her ready, but she is not here... Pata Nahi kidhr gayi, going to help Bola aur bhaag gayi... Bilkul ap pe gayi ha,"

Aarish chuckled at his wife's words as he pecked her forehead and then leaned down to peck Rayan's cheek while his wife's breath got stuck in her chest.

He was still amazed by the effect he had on this woman and it always make him happy, to say the least.

"Don't worry, yahi hogi... Either playing with Rohan or chasing her Nona around the house... Main ready ho ke Aya...,"

She smiled and nodded at his words, while Aarish went to search for his lost wallet, and then he might get his Princess.

"On a scale of 1-10 tell me Bhai's reaction when he sees Zahra. And I am still glad you both can keep up with PDA...,"

"A solid 100? And please you are the one to talk about PDA? You both husband and wife almost scarred Rohan and Zahra just last week... They came home asking me why Asher chacho said that bia phupho is better than any desert,"

Anabia blushed red as she remembers the day her husband was in a Romantic mood but forget the kids they promised to babysit.

It was so embarrassing when the kids asked their parents aka her siblings and bestie about it right in front of her. She didn't come here for one week to avoid the awkwardness.

"Hey don't get me started on that... You and Bhai have far worse moments... it's not my fault that I am this beautiful... and enough about that day... What makes you think that Bhai will let you dress Zahra if the costume is that hilarious?"

"because by the time he gets hold of her... It will be too late to do anything...,"

"You have already planned this... didn't you?"

Winking at her bestie they both laughed and worked together as baby Rayan get comfortable in the high chair.

They were busy gossiping about the new movie actress scandal when they heard it. Like the roar of the Lion in the jungle, it was clear and Sadia knew that it was the endgame.

"SADIA AARISH SHEIKH YOU HAVE TWO MINUTES TO COME HERE AND TELL ME WHY MY 4 YEARS OLD IS DRESSED AS A GRANDMA AND WHY SHE WAS GIVING MY WALLET TO THE OUTSIDE?"

At that moment Sadia knew she is done for. Aarish only called her full name only twice in her whole life. First time when she was pregnant and had bp drop because she skipped meals due to nausea.

Aarish was livid at that moment, he almost lost his wife and baby. He lectured her for one hour and then hugged her for two as he didn't leave her for the next two weeks without supervision.

The last time he used that tone and her full name was two years ago, the mother and daughter duo suddenly went missing. Imagine Aarish and everyone shocked when they can't find them in both houses.

They drive around for hours, after Aarish was lost and close to crying he went to his room and he heard giggling in the closet.

Behold he opened the closet to find his wife and daughter, sleeping in the closet with their favorite chocolate wrappers littering the space around as Zahra giggled in her sleep.

The relief he felt after finding them was short-lived as anger captured his soul. His loud call woke up his girls, everyone soon arrived and Safa beghum took sweet time to lecture her.

Finally, taking mercy on his wife who looked close to crying, Aarish saved her. But he didn't sleep the whole night as he keep watching the two precious gifts of his life, holding them close and fighting his own demons.

Both women turned to each other, eyes so wide that they will roll out and bounced like the cartoon character.

Quickly picking up Rayan from the chair, Sadia dashed towards the living room, where Aarish stood holding Zahra in his arm who was pouting cutely.

Aarish looked like he will blow a fuse but he didn't glare at his wife, simply looking at her with one eyebrow raised and a blank face. It was enough to make Sadia's heart pump with fear.

"What- what happened?"

"Why is she dressed like this? Is this what you both are scheming behind my back?"

She didn't look at the man who was looking intensely at her. But before they can speak a loud laugh stopped them as they turned towards Asher.

"Dayum daddi maa... You actually look perfect for the nickname,"

"Haina... I am proud of my creation,"

Both mother-daughter duo smiled at Asher who nodded his head while everyone present tried their best to conceal the smile but it was too hard as Zahra look so cute with that white small wig and the old woman's makeup.

"Dia... Why?"

"Well- it was Asher Bhai's fault,"

"hain... Main ne kya Kiya... No... Don't look at me like that Aarish,"

Gulping at the heated glare thrown his way, Asher backed away but Sadia soon came to his rescue.

"Arey... I mean he always calls her daddi maa so we got the idea from there... And Zahra like it... Don't you baby... Tell Baba,"

"Please Baba... Zahra likes it... Please... I wanna be unipue there,"

"Baby it's unique...,"

Nodding fondly at the correction, she turned to her Baba again.

"yes... Zahra be unique,"

Looking at her father, Zahra smiled brightly even though the makeup didn't hide the innocence his daughter had, and he looked at his wife who was mirroring the same expression.

"That you already are my love... And fine... You can be whatever you want. I still can't understand your mother's obsession with weird stuff,"

"Hey, it's creativity...,"

"Now will you tell me why she was out there giving my wallet to the beggar?"

"What?"

The shock was apparent on everyone's face as Sadia moved toward her daughter. Zahra looked at her mother closely and frowned at the baby in her hold.

"No... My mama,"

Almost leaping from her father's hold, she tried to reach her mother who rolled her eyes at her daughter's behavior.

"Yeh paka Aarish ki beti ha... Can't share her mother with anyone else except her Baba,"

Anabia chuckled at her husband's words and her brother's glare as she moved to hold her son so her possessive niece can have her mother.

Finally, in her mother's arms, she looked at Zahra and then at her husband who was trying to hold his smile and be the strict patent knowing his wife won't play the role.

"What did she do now?"

"She saw the man begging yesterday and today she picked up my wallet and give it to him... I saw him standing at the door with her through the bedroom window... I was scared he will kidnap her or something worst but imagine my shock when the man was begging her to go inside and she was ordering him to take the wallet,"

Sadia was shocked at Aarish words, her heart was racing thinking all negative thoughts if her husband didn't go there at the time or if the man was not good enough to deny.

Putting her daughter down who was looking at the floor, she kneels in front of her and asked her the question.

"Why did you do it, baby?"

"Zahra! I am asking the last time... Tell me,"

Looking at her mother with a cute pout and almost teary eyes the girl avoids everyone's eyes as she speaks.

"But mama... You told me to help people who need it, that man was hurt... I wanna help him,"

She smiled proudly at her daughter's generous heart and kindness but she knew a big life lesson is needed for this situation.

"That's very kind of you my love, but you can't go and pick mama or Baba things and give them to someone who needs it... If you wanna help someone, you come to us... What if that man hurt you or worst? Apko Kuch ho jata toh?"

"Tum toh chup kar jao Sadia... She was telling the kids her stories about how she used to help people in her childhood and teens... Patriotism Ka jazba badha rahi thi madam... Toh Bache follow hi Kareinge,"

Sadia bit her tongue at the crude words of anabia who throw her under the bus. Stealing a look at her husband who was shaking his head, she mouthed 'sorry'.

"Allah kya Karo main es ladki Ka... Ek bachi ki maa hogyi par aqal Nahi ayi,"

Sadia feel like crying as she heard her mother's voice. Like always Safa beghum has the worst timing and only came when her daughter's blunder was mentioned.

"Mama... Ap kab ayi? And what did I do?"

"I came long enough to hear everything and you know what you did... You can't tell your generosity tales to kids like that Sadia... You know Zahra is the carbon copy of yours... Your Baba didn't nickname her photocopy for nothing, she literally copy you for everything,"

Sadia pouted as she knew her mother was telling the truth, hell everyone present in the room knew it. Aarish silently chuckled when he remembered how true those words are and what happened when their toddler copied her mother for the first time.

He can't forget that the first word of his daughter was sh*t, because his wife stumbled her toe, jumped around, and cursed worse than a sailor.

The baby thought it was something funny and started copying her mother. It took weeks to get their daughter to forget the word.

To protect his wife from more scolding, Aarish sat down on his hunches and turn his baby girl towards him. Smiling at his daughter with the most tender look and pecked her forehead making her smile at her Baba.
