2 years later (after the epilogue)

The glittering sun rays spread various hues of shiny silvers and golds, waking up to a beautiful morning with people who truly love you. With the mind to make this an amazing day worth remembering.

She was going toward the bedroom because her lazy husband was still sleeping; he was having flu and being sneezing the whole night.

She holds the tray carrying the coffee and hot chocolate mugs as she shook her head as she thought about the reason for his illness.

She opened the door as she entered the room, placing the tray on the nightstand she looked around.

The curtains are still drawn, making the room dark and that's why her lazy husband was still sleeping.

She moved toward the windows, pulling the curtains away allowing the bright and sunny days to enter the room illuminating it.

She smiled at the beauty of nature, mumbling Subhan Allah and Alhamdulillah under her breath.

She was lost in the serenity of morning but then the groaning of her husband got her attention.

"Don't pull the curtain... I want to sleep more,"

She shook her head at his whining and moved toward the bed, pulling the duplet away from his face as he was laying on his stomach trying to move away from the sun.

"Good morning late Lateef Ji... now get up, it's already 10 am and your kids will soon be coming to wake their Baba Jaan. So you better get up now Ahtisham,"

He groaned again as he turned around and lay on his back looking at her with sleepy eyes. She feels sorry for him but soon masked her expressions on his next words.

"But I wanted to sleep Sila... I barely get any sleep last night because of this stupid flu,"

"Well, you are yourself responsible for that... who told you to go in the rain with the kids and get drenched. They were fine Alhamdulillah but you knew that you will catch a cold soon but still you listened to them,"

"Hey!!! It's not my fault that they only come to me when you denied them anything... Otherwise, they are like mama can we do this... Mama is my favorite. So when they came to me and pleaded for something, I can't deny my babies,"

Sila rolled her eyes at him and signaled him to sit up placing the hot chocolate mug in his hand.

"Just because they took advantage of your love that's not good... now see you are ill and stop eyeing my coffee you are not getting any today,"

"Yar... Sila... Beghum... Don't do this with me. You know I ate hot chocolate, please na yar... I promise to listen to you and not giving in to the kids anymore,"

"Not even to Ameera, that girl have you wrapped around her little finger Ahtisham, I mean you are strict with others but for Ameera, you are all mushy... And no you are not getting any coffee today that's your punishment,"

Ahtisham has always complaint to her that all their kids are her chamchy except their youngest Ameera Ahtisham Shah, she was daddy's girl since birth and always took advantage of that special position.

That 2 years old baby girl knew how to trick her father very well and that's the reason she is quite famous in her siblings because when Sila denies them anything they all turned to Ameera to get their Baba agreed to their request.

Sila always told him to be strict with her also, but her doe eyes, pouty lips, and the innocence she got from her mother, pierced his heart and he never said anything to her.

"ok fine I will try to not listen to their unreasonable demands not even to Ameera but please coffee...,"

Sila gives him a stern look as he sighed in defeat.

"Geez, beghum... Aese Tu na Dekho ab,"

She smiled at his cuteness and got up to clean the room but before she can move he pulled her toward him and she collided with his chest.

"Ahtisham what are you doing?"

She gasped as he pulled her more close to him, inhaling her calming lavender scent.

"I am just getting my morning dose of love beghum... Can't you do this for your sick husband?"

He pouted his lips at her, she slapped his arm and scowl at him with anger.

"Why are you hitting me beghum? Bemaro ke saath aese kon karta hai...,"

"I did... Also, you are not getting any morning dose because you are not well,"

"Oye... Don't you dare to deny me this... You took my coffee I am ok but only I have the right to love you and I dare you to take it from me beghum,"

She smiled at his words and placed her head at his chest, embracing him in her arms as he returned the favor happily.

"I won't dare to do that with you, Mr. Husband... But you should take care of you... I am worried about you,"

Ahtisham smiled as he pulled her more in his arms, feeling peace seeping deep into his heart as he holds his wife and the love of his life.

These past years have been nothing but a blessing for them and he was happier to spend his life with this beautiful soul.

"I know beghum but don't worry... I will be better once I take a hot shower,"

"Hmm...,"

He pecked her head and suddenly thought about teasing her as he sneaked a hand under her shirt but she soon slapped his hand making him pout.

"Have some shame Ahtisham... The kids will come or mama will come,"

"I am loving my wife why do I hesitate...,"

She just shook her head at his shameless behavior.

"You won't change... I am going to prepare everything for the picnic... You should also get up,"

"Nope... Not going to happen... You are not going anywhere without giving me my morning kiss,"

He again grabbed her hand and pulled her close, she gasped at his sudden action, feeling him so close.

She can feel his breath on her face, her breath hitched and body trembled.

Ahtisham smiled as he saw the effect he had on her and the reaction she gave.

He leaned toward her and whispered.

"Let me give you a proper good morning greeting beghum,"

He was inches apart when their bedroom door burst open making him groan, they came to their senses as Sila pulled away from him, face flushed but looking at his pained expression she giggled.

He glared at his wife and cursed himself for not locking the door, he looked at the reason for his incomplete romance and cannot control the smile that adorns his face as he looked at his kids jumping around their bed.

Sila and Ahtisham were very proud of what their kids have become. Ayaan and Inaaya are both 11 years old and were doing wonders in their academics.

Mirha is now 7 years old beautiful baby girl always first in everything she tried, either sports or studies.

Ameera and Haroon are 2 years old now, they are more genius than their age, they are the troublemakers of the Shah family, making the terrible two theory right for their parents.

"What are my Bacha party doing here early in the morning?"

"Baba it's 10:30 am... it's not early morning. You are just lazy,"

Inaaya spoke before anyone can say anything, Sila giggles at her words, and the kids soon followed their mother.

"always the smart mouth baby... I know it's not early but I have flu because some sneaky monsters wanted to play in rain,"

The kids looked sheepishly at their parents as Sila rolled her eyes at their antics.

"I already know what you did with your Baba... And the next time someone made him do this I will ground you all... Am I understood?"

"Yes, mama,"

The words rang in the room as the five pouting babies looked at her making her heart flattered.

"So tell me who is excited about the picnic today?"

The five kids yelled and jumped on the bed, the younger twins have a problem with that but their parents helped them.

"Baba can we please take milo with us... Please, Baba?"

Ameera was sitting in his lap and looked at him with pleading eyes.

Ahtisham face palmed himself mentally, he looked at his baby girl who was demanding to take their 2 months old adopted cat with them on the picnic.

Sila didn't like the idea of adopting a kitten at first with the kids and all the household work but she soon gets over it.

He looked at his wife who was looking or more like glaring at him.

He mumbled sorry to her and looked at his baby girl happily getting agreed with her and Sila just shook her head knowing he will never say no to that girl ever.

"Of course we can baby... It's a family picnic and Milo is now family,"

All his kids yelled yahoo and give high five to each other making their parents shook their heads at their planning.

Their kids are very close to each other and their love was very special for their parents.

"We love you baba... We love you, mama,"

"Baba and mama love you too babies... Now go and get ready you guys have 1 hour...,"

With that said they kissed their parents one by one and ran to their rooms to get ready and get their Milo ready to go.

Sila smiled at the door as she saw their babies going away but when she looked back she frowned.

Haroon Ahtisham Shah was sitting on the bed cross-legged and arms looking at her with a sad face.

"Why the long face baby?"

Ahtisham looked at the mother-son duo, he always knew that all his kids loved their mother, just Ameera was more inclined to him but the love Haroon has for Sila was speechless.

He was a complete mama boy, always staying by her side, just like the angel who will always stay with his mother.

"Mama I don't want to go to the picnic,"

Sila and Ahtisham got confused at his words, and Sila pulled him in her lap as he placed his head on her chest hugging her.

Ahtisham moved close to them and hugged his family looking at his son to get the answer.

"Why baby?"

Hatton looked at his parents and whispered, if they were not close to him they won't be able to hear his voice.

"I want to go to the family house and meet everyone... I want to see them. Can we go there please?,"

They both smile at their son, he was truly an angel, just like the person he was named after.

Looking out for everyone, helping others, and making them smile even when he was just a toddler.

Sila caressed his cheeks as she turned him toward her.

"We will baby... You should have told us before. Ok, listen... We can go to the picnic today and then we will go to meet them tomorrow with lots of gifts for them... What you say?"

He nodded his head but still sad, as he can't meet his family at the family house soon.

"You know you are just like your Haroon Baba... If he was here today he will be so happy with you and so much proud... So will be Nano,"

"Sachi mama!!!,"

She nodded at him and he smiled weakly in return.

Sila and Ahtisham always tell the kids about how good man Haroon was and how much their Nano and he loved them.

Sila was so happy to share her beautiful experience of Haroon and her life with Ahtisham, that man was never jealous.

He always had great respect for Haroon, he was always grateful to Allah for giving him Sila.

So he tells the stories about the hero who saved his wife and took her to him. He always tells his kids that Haroon and Naheed beghum are part of their family.

And when the kids started calling them Nano Ammi and Haroon baba, they cried specially Sila. She will never forget her family and they will always be with them.

Baby Haroon was very much impressed with his mama guardian angel as Ahtisham used to call him. Also because he was named after him, so his interest increased and now Haroon is ideal for him.

Haroon was so happy listening to it but still, his smile was not reaching his eyes. But Sila knows the magic to make him smile wholeheartedly.

"You know what baby... Sammy is also coming to the picnic,"

The moment the words escape her mouth her son was all perked up making his parents chuckled.

Another fact about Haroon Ahtisham Shah, he was smitten with his Sammy.

Samiya is 20 months old baby girl of Shafiya and Adeel, she was born after 3 months of the twins.

She was adored by everyone but little Haroon was Obsessed with the baby girl. He never let anyone near her and now he was all over her.

Ahtisham always teases Adeel about it but Adeel always flipped him, not wanting to talk about his baby girl's future so soon.

Ahtisham always laughed at his words and didn't miss a chance to tease either his own son or Adeel on Samiya's topic.

Haroon's eyes twinkle with happiness as he turned toward his mother in lighting speed.

"Really mama!!! Why didn't you tell me before? I have to get ready... Let Haroon go,"

He jumped from her lap after kissing her cheeks ignoring his father and ran out of the room but turned around and called his mother.

"Mama... Come and help Haroon... Baba will get ready himself,"

Sila chuckled at his words mumbling 'ok I am coming' but he just ran away only hearing her ok in response.

"I swear that boy is smitten with Sammy and he is just 2. I mean... Where is this generation going yar?"

Sila laughed at his words and patted Ahtisham's shoulder.

"At least he is not slow like his father... He knew when to claim his girl,"

Ahtisham narrowed his eyes at her and pulled her close to him seeing as the coast is clear.

"So you think... I am slow and I don't know when to claim my girl...huh beghum,"

Sila bit her lips making him look at her with hungry eyes, as he leaned at her face.

"well you were 6 years ago... If the family didn't rile you up then maybe we will not be married still,"

"You can't blame me for being gentleman beghum... And I would have claimed you no matter what,"

The intensity of his eyes was doing things to her heart, she tried to pull away but he tightens his hold.

"You still have something of mine beghum...,"

She knew what he was talking about but act all innocent.

"What? Me? Nah I don't have anything...,"

"Too bad... I then have to show you,"

He winked at her smirking as he leaned to kiss her plump lips but before he can do it, they heard his mother's voice calling them both and the kids yelling.

He groaned as Sila pushed him away giggling and ran away from the room, taking full advantage of his loosen-up hold.

"This is not over beghum... I will get my morning dose with extra revenge taxes...,"

His voice followed her as she ran away before he came and devour her.

He shook his head and moved toward the bathroom with a permanent smile on his face.

They reached the farmhouse two hours ago and was now enjoying their quality time together.

Ahtisham's parents can't come because they have to go for some important work but they promised the kids a special day out with just them.

Sila and Shafiya were sitting in the lounge keeping an eye on the kids who were busy playing with Milo.

Adeel and Ahtisham started their business talk and the ladies throw them out of the backyard to discuss all the business inside the house and away from them.

Shafiya and Adeel still bicker nonstop without any problem and this is an entertaining part of their relationship.

They can fight all day long but in the end, one of them will say something cheesy and mushy and they are all lovey-dovey.

Sila and Shafiya were still going strong, they become the strength of each other in all these years and now their kids are also like them.

Both of them secretly rooted that Haroon and Samiya will one day fell in love and get married living a beautiful life together.

"I hope that one day they will fell in love with each other and live happily... Also, for all kids to have beautiful lives...,"

Sila mumbled 'Ameen' under her breath as she saw Haroon and Samiya running around playing and laughing.

"You still didn't stop the matchmaking Shafu...,"

They get startled by the sudden voice but Shafiya rolled her eyes once she saw her husband smirking at her.

"You are just jealous and insecure because we are talking about your daughter future adeelu,"

Adeel scoffed at his wife as he and Ahtisham moved toward them and sat beside their wives.

Shafiya and Adeel glared at each other knowing very well that they both hated the nicknames that they call to irritate each other.

"And I have every damn right to be upset... She is my baby girl and she is 2 years old woman... Stop talking about her wedding like she is old,"

Sila and Ahtisham enjoyed their bickering as Ahtisham holds her in his arms looking at the kids playing, feeling peace.

"She will always be your baby girl even when she will have her kids... But that didn't mean I can't dream about her happy life,"

Adeel huffed and puffed because he didn't want to think about his daughter going away.

"Come on Adeel... You know he is the best choice for her,"

He sighed as he looked at the kids playing, he turned toward his friends and wife as everyone was looking at him.

"I know he is... If he is anything like his father and his Baba Haroon then he is indeed the best choice but I still don't want to talk about it till the right time,"

That made everyone laughed at his cuteness, but Shafiya will not back down without making him agree. They soon started to bicker as Sila turned to her husband.

"So, do you think they are made for each other?"

Ahtisham smiled as he caressed her cheek, looking at her with adoration and passion making her smile in return.

"I do... But I agree with Adeel. Let's not decided for them. Let them grow up and decide... If they fell in love and wanted to live their whole lives with each other then I will be the happiest to make it happen for them. But just let time and fate decide it,"

Sila nodded at him as she hugged him back ignoring Adeel and Shafiya still arguing in the background and they looked toward their beautiful family and thanked their LORD a billion times for this second chance in life.

22 years later...

Their family becomes stronger and closer with time, they have their ups and downs, they lost their loved ones but still stood by each other.
