Fortunately, the universe was kind to Harry that day, as it decided that it wasn't yet his time to go. His story not even close to ending. So two other boys, if you want to call them boys although they were at least a couple of centuries old, decided to interfere.

Out of nothing, Louis suddenly jumped in front of the curly haired boy, blocking the wolf from coming any closer and he hissed with bared fangs at the creature to make it back off. Liam soon followed and attacked for real.

He tackled it to the ground, using his inhuman speed and strength, and fell on top of the animal-like creature. The wolf growled in return and with a harsh move, he turned them up-side-down so it was Liam's turn to be held down. Something he couldn't let happen. The two wrestled for a bit, fangs trying to pierce through each other's skin, until Liam finally had the wolf pinned to the ground. He then brought out two silver rings which he'd carried with him, clapped them open en shoved them over the claws of the werewolf.

The silver prevented it from moving too much, because yes, the famous 'silver myth' was true. It had something to do with the venom that every werewolf once had injected through a bite. This venom was more active during the full moon, which made werewolves transform of course. It was currently rushing through Zayn's veins and didn't really react well to the silver around his paws. His body froze, making it difficult to struggle or even move.

At the same time, Louis was trying to shield Harry from the wolf. After he made sure that Liam had the situation more or less under control, he tugged at Harry's sleeve, begging him to stand up. He wanted to get the boy as soon as possible out of the danger zone.

"Harry, come on love let's get you out of here."

Harry didn't answer, didn't even acknowledge Louis' use of petname, and kept sitting on the dirty ground, still dazed by what was happening. Louis became impatient, eyes furiously shifting in all directions to assure their safety and eventually they landed again on the confused and scared boy in front of him.

"Come on Harry! We've gotta get you out of here! Liam's already handling it, alright? You're safe now"

He still didn't get any response, so he decided to take matters in his own hands, so he lifted the curly haired lad up and started to carry him away from the 'battlefield'. For once, Louis was really thankful for his vampire traits, because with normal human strength he wouldn't have been able to carry Harry so easily.

He soon started to run off, while mumbling soothing words in Harry's curls. Not too many of course because thanks to his inhuman speed the two of them were already in their dorm in a couple of seconds. Louis placed him gently on his bed. All the time Harry hadn't uttered a single word. Louis then came sitting on the duvet in front of the other boy, worry and concern clouding his thoughts and facial expression, but the curly haired boy wasn't looking back at him. Louis extended his arm to embrace him in a hug, but Harry absentmindedly flinched away.

"Harry, please say something, anything! Are you alright?"

It stayed silent for a moment, as Louis caring pulled his fringe out of his eyes, who were directed at the fabric in front of him. Suddenly Harry faced him. Pale face but pink coloured cheeks, his eyes blood-shot, and his veins still pumped full of adrenaline.

"What the fuck did just happen? Please tell me I'm dreaming and that all this wasn't real. It wasn't? Right?"

Quite relieved that he at least talked -although it was in a rather hurried and desperate tone- Louis was stuck with the duty of explaining the situation and making sure that he didn't scare Harry off, or well that he at least wasn't traumatized for his life after a night like this.

"Ssh, lower your voice. Everyone's sleeping. And to answer your questions, well..." Louis popped his lips, not quite sure knowing what to say. He tried to carefully choose the right words, in the meantime laughing humourlessly because of the tension and awkwardness in the room. He didn't handle uncomfortable situations that well.his hand reached to scratch the back of his head, while Harry kept looking expectantly up at the older boy, craving for some clearance of the situation.

"I'm sorry, but I'm almost one hundred percent sure that you're in fact not sleeping, so this is unfortunately all real. Except for if I'm dreaming this all, but that would be kind of weird because I don't really dream that much. I can pinch you if you don't believe me?" Louis rambled.

Harry didn't show any reaction but blinking a couple of times, slowly letting Louis' confusing words pour in. The vampire took this as a cue to really pinch him, because not objecting is kind of like approving.

With a yelp, Harry got out of his shock. Rubbing his arm, he scowled irritated, "Alright, I'm not dreaming," he admitted, he waited a bit and then added, "Shit... I always knew something was up with you with the disappearing and weird behaviour, but Zayn?" He shook his head, like he still couldn't believe it. He probably didn't.

"You what? How? I mean, what? nothing's wrong with me?"

Harry gave him a 'are you kidding me' look, lifting one of his eyebrows as he continued to look in disbelief. He then mumbled.

"This is all so fucked up."

Louis sighed and decided it was best to explain everything to Harry. This way he would be prepared and he knew too much already so it was better to clear everything out, instead of letting him make his own, maybe wrong, interpretations.

"So, you're probably very confused now?" Louis tone heightened up when he reached the end of his sentence, letting it sound more like a question than a statement.

"Yeah," Harry confirmed his eyes widening as he continued talking, "I mean normal people don't just change in monsterwolves or run at the speed of light," He saw Louis look of dismay and rolled his eyes.

"I might have been in shock, but I surely noticed how fast you could carry me here, like I don't even weight as much as a pillow."

"Alright. I'll explain everything," Louis pulled a face, "but don't interrupt me when I speak, or I won't continue. You sure won't like what I'm going to say and it will change your view on the world, me, Zayn and probably many other things. You might freak out and don't want to believe everything I'm going to tell you, but it is the thruth." Louis shrugged and took a deep breath.

"Ready?" He questioned. Harry nodded eagerly, wanting to hear more.

"Well let's start with saying the world isn't really at all like they make you believe it is..." he begun and then quickly explained that there were vampires and werewolves and likely many other supernatural things, Harry's eyes kept getting wider and wider the more Louis told him.

Meanwhile, Liam had been trying to get his own situation under control. After he managing to pin the wolf down by using the silver bracelets, he contemplated his next move. He surely didn't want to kill the wolf/lad as it wasn't really his fault for transforming into this creature, Liam even pitied him, and besides the brown haired vampire didn't really have the right equipment to kill it either. So that move was soon written off.

The wolf in front of him howled in frustration, his yellow eyes showing nothing of humanity. Whining as he still tried to struggle, wanting to break free.

Liam's ears picked up a ruffling noise next to him, like someone walking on the dry leaves. He looked up only to be met by the face of a blond girl. In surprise, he fell backwards landing on his ass. How could she come this near without Liam noticing it earlier?

"Who- wha- ...Who are you and what are you doing here?"

He took another glance at the wolf before facing the girl again. It was like she didn't even acknowledge the presence of the creature.

"Hush," the girl whispered, "you don't want anyone to hear us! You're making enough sound already."

With the moonlight falling on her pale face, she looked like a spirit, so Liam tried to touch her leg with his index finger. As he felt flesh, indicating that, yes, she was real, he quickly withdrew his hand and looked up again in disbelief. The girl didn't even question it.

"So what's your next move?" She quizzed, "He's not dangerous anymore, so what now? Are you going to let him lie like this on the ground for the rest of the night? He might not transform in time for the first humans to wake up, and what will they say if they see a big wolf here?"

Completely taken aback by the knowledge of the girl, Liam couldn't form any coherent words. "I- Uhm-we- no?" he sputtered.

The blonde rolled her eyes in return and nudged Liam to scoot back. She sat in front of the wolf and started to pat his face, speaking with a clear and surprisingly caring voice.

"Zayn? Zayn, can you hear me? It's Perrie. I know that you're in there somewhere."

While she was talking, the wolf's eyes changed a couple of times from vivid yellow, to a more comforting hazel. In the end, they stayed hazel, making Perrie smile softly.

"Alright big boy, sorry I wasn't there when you changed. Apparently it was the right time for me to give someone a prophecy or something. You know how I get when that happens."

The wolf blinked furiously, and his body seemed to shrink a bit, hiss claws and fangs getting smaller. There was still some sort of confusion in his eyes, yes his, because the creature now looked more like human than before. Liam didn't know how the girl, Perrie apparently, had done it, but she'd brought the guy back underneath the wolvish appearance.

"Are you calm again?" the girl asked, "Do you have him -it back under control?"

The wolf, well more wolfman now, nodded carefully.

"Then I can let these go?" the girl questioned, pointing at the silver bracelets.

"No!" Liam interfered. The girl looked up like she'd almost forgotten that he'd been there in the first place.

"He's a newly turned wolf!" Liam continued shouting, "He can't control his inner wolf yet! He shouldn't even be able to do it now! Normally it takes years of trying. You can't just believe it won't break free again in a minute right? You can't trust something like that."

The girl rolled her eyes again in annoyance.

"Well my dear vampire, than you've probably met the wrong werewolves. Where a will is, is a way and with the right methods and a little bit help of a witch, it doesn't take that long at all."

"You're a witch?" Liam quickly buzzed back, although it quite made sense now, as she apparently even knew what he himself was.

"Yes," she answered bored as she took the silver bracelets off. "These are yours I assume? Thank you, by the way for handling Zayn and not killing him, I wouldn't have appreciated that. And I don't think he would either."

She smiled.

"Are you sure you can take them off?" Liam was eying them sceptical.

Perrie didn't answer but helped Zayn getting up on four legs, who was in return looking at Liam in distrust. The vampire gulped, hoping that the werewolf's inner wolf wouldn't suddenly come back and attack him.

"Can you handle it from now on?" the blond girl asked Zayn, who nodded stately. He then faced the woods, tilting his head to the side, before looking back to Perrie.

"You need to get some rabbits?" She understood. Once more he nodded and then he ran off.

Liam watched him disappear between the trees. When he turned around again, he saw Perrie casually strolling away.

"Hey!" he shouted, before hurrying after her. "Is it really safe to let him go?"

"Yes, I've told you that before right? I've spoken some sort of spell over him. You vampires wouldn't understand witch magic," she added, "however still thank you for being there when I, apparently, couldn't. I can't really control my prophecies, you know."

"It's nothing, I guess," Liam answered. He wanted to ask so much more questions, but as soon as he looked up again, he noticed that she had disappeared into the night, probably having used some sort of witchcraft. He groaned irritated. Women. He would never understand that species.
