3rd person pov

"Bo, bo what are we doing?" (Y/n) questioned semi frantically as they walked over to the church. Bo was quiet. Deathly quiet. "Bo you're scaring me. And like it's more than usual right now." She tries to explain. Bo stops and looks to the young woman. A flash of a smile showed on his face. "You're gonna go to work with me." He was excited to show (y/n) what he did. Very excited. (Y/n) looked at him with frightened eyes. The smile faded from Bo's face as he gets them into the church. Closing the church doors Bo went to turn on the recording. (Y/n) leaned against the doors and held their harms trying to steady their breathing. Quickly Bo came over to them and checked them over. "What are you doing?" "I'm making sure you don't pass out. Or throw up again." He says and goes to caress her cheek. Flinching away (y/n) looks at Bo. "Dude I've got absolutely zero desire to be touched while there's a possibility someone's gonna die today." She states while her body goes into itself. The older man infront of her couldn't help it. Bo knew that the events that would occur could cause (y/n) to have a break down again. This time Bo reached his hand to (y/n)'s face and managed to cup her cheek. "I could use you're help." (Y/n) looked at Bo before turning into his palm. "Ok." She sighs before they go to kneel infront of the casket.

Reader's pov

Well fuck, guess I'm doing this now. You know why not? Might as well at this point. Wait what am I even thinking?! My thoughts just keep flip flopping between semi normal person thinking and the 'Well I've seen some weird shit in the last week this probably won't be the weirdest thing' mind set. Bo reached over and held my hand. I found myself squeezing his hand for comfort. Out the corner of my eye I could see him glancing at me. I closed my eyes and listened to the world around me. The recording of the sermon played and I quieted my breathing to try and listen for a car.

Not even five minutes later the sound of the large doors creaking open filled the church. Bo turned to look first then me. I froze. At the doors was the very same girl who left me on the freeway. When Jessica saw me it was like all the blood had drained from her face. Quickly her and her boyfriend closed the doors as they went back outside. "You're hurting my hand. What's wrong?" Bo asks me quietly as we listen to Jessica and her boyfriend argue. "That." I point to the door. "Would be Jessica, the main girl who left me to find my own way home." I say quoting her. All the hesitation I had about the possibility of hurting someone left. At that moment all I wanted was for her and her boyfriend to feel all the pain in the world. Bo looked to the door and then to me. Without saying a word he put on his grieving face and walked out ahead of me. He pushed the door open while Jessica and her boyfriend stood arguing. I followed closely behind. "Hey man we're sorry we didn't mean to interrupt." The boyfriend started. I didn't really remember his name. Never cared to I guess. "You shouldn't have walked in." Bo says grabbing his cigarettes from his pocket. Pulling one out with his mouth he lights it. I just stared at Jessica. She couldn't even look into my eyes. My mind was running wild with every possible thing I could do to her. Honestly it was taking everything in me to not just start beating her ass right here and now. "W-well we were just trying to find our, our friend here." Jessica panics while gesturing to me. Her boyfriend looked from Bo to her in a confused way. "You walked in on a funeral to find you're friend?" Bo asks acting barieved. "Hey, go on back inside." I console as I place my hand on his shoulder.

Bo rolls his eyes and flicks his cigarette away. "Yeah whatever." He sighs and storms off. "(Y/n) we were so worried about you." Jessica tells me as she takes both my hands. "Really? But what about the whole leav-.?" "Oh you know that was just a joke. I couldn't really leave my best friend on the road for forever. We, we went back to look for you the next day but you were gone." Jessica couldn't stop stammering. It was like I was in auto pilot. My 'play dumb' smile turned on and I nodded. "Right a game. Wish I just stayed in one place now." I laughed and smiles brightly. "Exactly, see I told you she wouldn't be mad." Jessica chuckles nervously to her boyfriend. "Yup, you were right. I only wish that we had that tired though so that we could get you home as soon as possible." He chimes in with a fake smile. "Tire?" I ask faining curiosity. "Heh yup, we're parked over at the gas station. We were looking for the guy who runs it. Bo." Jessica explained and pointed to the Gas station. "Oh, well, this might not be the best time. See you just met him." I motion for the church and once again the color drains from both of their faces. Almost perfectly timed Bo came walking out. "Hey, look, I'm sorry. See someone very special to me just died and I didn't mean to take it out on yall. Was there something you needed?" Be says resting his hands on my shoulders. Jessica let my hands free and looked at the man behind me. "Yeah, but we don't wanna bother you more than we have." Her boyfriend says. Jessica eyes Bo hands on my shoulders and I smile. "Bo here has been helping me out. Thought you guys weren't coming back." I joke and smile up at Bo. "Speaking of you guys, where's everyone else?" I ask looking around. "Heh well they didn't exactly take my little joke too well and everyone went home early." Jessica let out a sigh and Bo patted my shoulder. "Well if I can help (y/n) get back to where they belong I'll help ya any way I can. Just gotta give me half an hour here first." The two infront of us nodded. Bo went back inside and left the three of us. "Did they really go home? Last I remembered they pushed me out the backseat." Jessica tried to not roll her eyes at me as her boyfriend explained. "Jessica was taking a little too long to go back and look for you. Everyone got pretty mad and left after a couple days of not being able to find you. And when we went looking for you we popped a tire and didn't have any spares." "Aww well I'm sorry to have caused so much drama." I apologizes with shy smile. "Let me make it up to yall."
