Tw: mention of suicidal thoughts.

3rd person pov

Lighting their cigarette (y/n) continued to stare down the street. Bo looked down at the young woman sitting on the steps infront of him. Bruises visible on their neck as she took a drag. (Y/n) just couldn't look at Bo. Even as scared as she had been, she was more worried about how her family would handle her going missing. The young adult had always joked about death. Mostly when she was at the darkest and contemplating ending it all, they used jokes about herself dieing as a way to cope. But after being as close to death as they had been the passed few days, (y/n) didn't know if they could joke it away.

Reader's pov

"You really shouldn't smoke like that." Bo tells me breaking the silence. I was close to finishing my first cigarette while he was lighting up one of his own. Letting out a puff of smoke I sigh. "I really don't smoke that much. Once, twice every couple days." Stubbing out the butt of the cigarette I look up at him. "And I'm sorry but why would I listen to you?" I ask getting up and pulling out another cigarette with my mouth. Trying my lighter again it just sparks. "Fuck." I cuss under my breath and Bo holds out his lighter. "Here." Clicking it he holds out the flame. Lighting my cigarette I take a drag and look into his eyes. He had a tinge of guilt in his eyes. Or pity. Could be pity.

"Hey, so yesterday. Did you actually go to the store? Or did you just kinda take my money?" I ask going back to sit on the step. Bo sits down next to me and takes a drag. "Took your money." He says before letting out the smoke. "Fair." I chuckle softly. "I would have done the same thing." A small smile shown on Bo's face. Didn't know he had smile lines. I found myself smiling with a light blush on my cheeks. "Well hey, since you have my money. Would it be asking too much if I wanted to get some actual food?" Bo grinned at me before letting out a chuckle. "I knew you didn't like that fucking stew." He starts laughing and shaking his head. "Come on, and you did?" I laugh letting out the smoke from my lungs. Bo sighed and looked at the street. "I don't know if I can do that yet. You might run off." He still had a hint of a smile on his face. "Tried it, didn't work out so well for me did it?" I joke and Bo laughs. "You got me there." He turns his head to me and I give him the 'I'm so sweet' smile. "Fuuuuuck." Bo shakes his head looking at the ground. "I'm gonna regret this." He grunts as he stands up. "Come on, trucks back at the house." Bo says walking away. Stopping at the fence he motions for me to follow. Smiling ear to ear I stub out my cigarette and catch up to the twin I was spending the day with.

I practically skipped to the house. Bo went and waited in the truck while I ran in to grab my makeup bag. Getting into the truck I buckle up all happy like. "That don't look like your purse." Bo says looking over at me. "Oh yeah no." I say as I place the makupbag in my lap and undo the top two buttons of my shirt. Reaching I to my bra I pull out my debit card, credit card, and drivers license. Bo's eyes widened for a moment. "When I keep my more valuable items in my bra." I smile and put the cards back. "Really?" "Yeah man, this thing is like it's own pocket dimension." I laugh as we start driving out. "Can we have the radio on?" I ask applying foundation over my bruises. Without saying anything to me Bo reaches over and turns the radio. song started up.

"Hmm." I smirk as I finish applying the foundation. "What?" Bo asks as we drive to the washout. "Oh nothing." I fake before he drives us over the rocks and water. Bumpy as shit! Grabbing hold of the handle thing by the window I use the free hand to hold my makeup bag. Bo laughed his ass off while I held on. Getting on steady road I glared at the brunette. "You drive like a dick! At least Lester took it slow over that." I exclaim. Bo kept laughing as I straightened myself out. "That's cause his truck is shit." He smirks at me. "Now tell me again, what'd you mean by that 'hmm'?" Bo asks as slipknot continues to play. "Well it's just, wouldn't think you're the type to listen to this is all. Kind of thought you'd have some country station on at all times. I was just pleasantly surprised is all." I explain. Bo just chuckled and turned the radio up.

The drive took about an hour to get into a town. Luckily the music was really good so Bo and I just kind of sang along for the most part. "You too fancy to shop at Walmart?" Bo asks as we pull into the parking lot. "Dude my town is so broke Walmart is fancy living." I tell him honestly as we look for a place to park. Giving myself one last look in my compact mirror I add just a touch more makeup on my neck and a re-touch of my red lipstick. "Well that should do it." I smile and click the mirror shut. Bo rolls his eyes as we park. "K let's get this over with. No running off." "I'm in a place I don't know and have social anxiety. I'm sticking to you, ya pretty little psycho." I smile and pat his head before hopping out. Bo got out after me locking the truck. "Come on." He nods at me to follow him. "Wait up, I'm in heels here."
