(Wes above)
"So... why don't we just start already? You two have been staring at each other for more than 5 minutes" Wes said awkwardly.
"I'm sorry. I just couldn't get pass how repulsing her appearance is" Mr. Shaw said a cringing face.
"Ok man. That's enough" Wes growled.
"Nope, that's only the beginning. You see, I'm the one that all your brainless viewers will want to hear from. If you offend me in anyway I will leave. And I don't think your boss will be too happy with that" Mr. Shaw said with an evil smirk.
"You know what-" Wes started to yell but was cut off by me.
"Wes, stop! Let's just get this show on the road, okay?" I said walking over to him.
"Who told you to speak?" Mr. Shaw said with irritation in his voice.
"I ....um...." I said nervously looking down at the floor.
"Shut up cow!" He commanded in a loud voice.
"I'm sorry let's just start... if that's fine with you sir" I said calmly still looking at the floor. I didn't wanna see Wes's face. He's probably pissed off or disappointed in how I'm let this bastard treat me like a piece of dog shit.
"Hold up. Jeanie, can I talk to you for a second?" Wes said.
"Sure" I said softly and started to walk out with him but Mr. Shaw grabbed my arm and yanked me back.
"Now there you go again making decisions for yourself. I am in charge and I want you to stay in this room and start this show NOW" he said in a stern harsh voice.
I stood in my place but Wes dragged me out in a hurry before Shaw could protest. He went outside of the room and shut the door so Mr. Shaw wouldn't hear us.
"Jeanie, what the hell is wrong with you? Why are you letting that spoiled brat treat you like garbage?" he whisper yelled.
"Look Wes you don't understand. He's my boss" I said in a gloomy voice.
"Not here he isn't" he contradicted.
"I need to make sure that I do anything he says. I need his recommendation when I go out to find a real job in publishing" I sighed.
"Well you're not gonna get it like that. You have to have respect for yourself before anyone can take you seriously." He hissed at me.
"Look I only have to deal with him for only 9 more months. I mean if pregnant women can hold babies in their belly for that long then I can put up with him. Just please don't defy him." I pleaded the last part.
"I'm not gonna make that promise." He said crossing his arms.
"Wes please" I pleaded as I grabbed both of his arms.
"No" he said.
"I promise I'll watch your demon cat for free anytime you want me to" I offered. He has been nagging me for a while now. He always needs someone to watch that thing and I keep turning him down because the cat doesn't like me. She scratched my leg and the freaking scar is still there.
"Sounds tempting... " he said as he put his index finger on his chin.
"See, make this deal with me. You don't even have to like him, just tolerate him" I said.
He was silent for a few minutes then finally spoke "fine" he said in a weak voice.
"Thank you" I said with gratefulness as I jumped up to hug him. When I came back from the hug, I motioned for us to go back inside with Satan.

"Oh look the fat bitch is back" Mr. Shaw said sitting in one of the chairs with an evil grin on his face.
"Yup" I said putting my hands in my pocket and walking towards my chair.
"What was that?" he said.
"Yes sir" I said formally.
"So shall we get started" Wes said a little irritated.
"Yes. Please sit Wes. Cow you can stand." He said. When he talked to Wes he was nice and polite. However when it came to me, it was like I put a stick up his ass and his whole demeanor changed.
"Hello everyone, its Jeanie and Wes. We have our special guest sitting right next to us" Wes said obviously faking his happy mood.
"And today we are talking to him and letting you guys ask any questions you want" I said a little happy but not too happy because he would be upset. I don't really know why but he has problems with me enjoying myself.
"Mr. Michael Shaw is an award winning, billionaire that has publishing companies all across the world" Wes said.
"So Mr. Shaw, how are you today?" I said politely.
"Fine" he said shortly.
"So let's go get to the main points" Wes said quickly changing the subject.
"What made you go into this business?" I continued to ask questions.
"I liked books" he said shortly again this time glaring at me.
"Any special book?" Wes said.
"Oh yea. There was different genre's like romance and horror and of course erotica. I also loved many of Shakespeare's work. Shakespeare was actually the one who influenced my love for writing. The way he formed his words. It was intriguing to me." He said as he looked at Wes.
That's how most of the conversation went on. I barely spoke because he would always glare at me when I asked him answers. He never said anything to build off for the viewers when I spoke, so I took one for the team.
When Wes asked him questions, he was on top of it. He would always have these broad explanations. But my answers were short. I don't know what I did wrong to make him hate me so much. One thought occurred: Maybe he's gay? But that theory was dismissed because one viewer asked him that question and he happily said no.
"Well that's all the time we have for today thanks for tuning."Wes said and turned off the system.
"Well that was fun" he continued.
"Yea it was but when cow started talking she really brought down the house. How desperate can you be, cow?" Mr. Shaw said.
"And how was she desperate?" Wes said an eyebrow.
"Well she flirted with me everytime she asked me questions" Mr. Shaw explained in an obvious tone.
"Oh really" Wes said.
"Most definitely. No doubt that she's not a virgin. Opening her legs is probably her third job" he spat this time.
"Hey-" Wes started but uninterrupted.
"Wes" I warned.
"Never mind. Bye Jeanie" he said as he quickly left the room, leaving me with Mr. Shaw.
"So this is where you come to spend your worth less time. I guess stripping and prostitution wasn't enough money for you." He said causally.
I didn't wanna start a fight so I just agreed with his crazy allegations "I guess not" I whispered.
"I need you to come to my office straight away tomorrow. Before anyone else is in the building understood." He commanded.
"Of course Sir " I said and he left me behind in the room.

When I regained my composure, I walked out and Tiffany was waiting for me.
"Hey Tif" I said weakly.
"Hi Jeanie, how was it?" She said worried.
"How do you think it was?" I sighed.
"Pretty bad. I kinda heard everything he said. I was this close to punching him in the face but then I heard what you said to Wes and I stopped" she said and hugged me.
"Thanks" I said and hugged her back.
"Oh don't thank me" she said breaking away from the hug.
"Why not?" I said confused.
"Because honestly I'm frustrated with you" she said stepping away from me.
"Why?" I said still confused.
"You never stick up for yourself." She exclaimed.
"Only 9 more months. Remember I will curse him out in the end. I'll do it so good you're gonna have to take me to church, so I can get cleansed from all the curse words I used" I said.
"I know, but still... it sucks that you have to be his bitch" she said sadly.
We went home and then we set up her bed in my room. It was an air mattress that had patches from her popping it because she loved to jump on it. As soon as she went to my bathroom to shower, Cheri come walked in.
"Hey Jeanie, I need to talk to you." She said as she closed the door behind her.
"Yes, what's up" I said.
"I need you to move out" she said calmly as she avoiding my surprised wide eyes.
"WHAT?" I yelled.
"I-I kinda need you to vacate this room" she stuttered.
"Why?" I said confused and hurt.
"Because Josh is moving in soon after the wedding and I'm pregnant. My family needs room to grow and I wanna grow it here." she said happily.
"You're giving me a headache" I said as I closed my eyes and rubbed my face. Why is this happening to me?
"Listen Jeanie, I love you but I can't right now ok. I need to make this work. You have to be out in 3 weeks" she said shortly with me.
"Cheri, I have known you since elementary and you would have never done this. Now you meet this guy and you throw me away like garbage? You're like another sister to me" I said. It felt like someone was choking me because the words were coming out slowly and painfully.
"Josh wants us to be alone. If I left you here instead of me leaving then you would have been all alone" she said trying to hug me but pushed her away.
"So kicking me out is better?!" I growled. Cry was not an option so I just turned my sad feelings into something angry.
"I'm sorry" she said through the tears that were steaming down her face then she left the room abruptly.
THIS IS BULLSHIT! I thought as I sat on my bed with my hands in my face and I just looked to the floor. My face was hot and my hands were red.
"OMG. What's wrong?" Tif said rushing over to me.
"Cheri just kicked me out" I said in a low voice.
"THAT BITCH." She shrieked and was about to jump off the bed to go fight.
"Stop! Look she's going through something right now. I don't wanna upset her anymore that I already have" I said.
"WHO CARES IF SHE'S UPSET? No one forced her to kick you out for no reason. She picked her choice now I have picked mine. Let me go beat her flat ass" she said furiously.
"Well she wants her and her man to have their own place. I have no say." I said with a shrug.
"What do you mean?" She said confused.
"When she got the place she put her name on the lease and then wanted me to put my name on it too, but I kept forgetting" I sighed.
"So legally it's her house not mine." I sighed.
"Girl, you can live with me"she said excited.
"And hear your angry sex noise's through the wall. No thanks" I said.
"Hey its good noise's. It means we love each other." She said with a lovely dovey smile.
"Shut up" I said rolling my eyes.
"What about your sister?" She suggested
"She barely has the ability to control her abusive husband and her baby. I don't think that adding me to the mix will help." I said.
"Well you need to find a way to fix this because you are not going to be homeless on my watch." She said.
"Okay" I said then our conversation ended. We went to bed. The night went by so fast because it felt like a second had passed and I was already awake and at my horrible job. I had to come early which made me a little grumpy but I had to put on my game face. I went inside his office and shut the door behind me.
"Hello sir." I said politely.
"Hello cow. Sit down" he said.
"Yes sir" I said and went to sit in the chair in front of his desk .
"I need to talk to you about a pressing matter" he said
"Which pertains to?" I said.
"I need you to marry me." He said causally leaning back in his chair.
"Excuse me?" I said confused. This man could barely stand me, why would he want to marry me?
"You're excused" he responded.
"No sir, it just sounded like you wanted me to marry you" I explained my confusion.
"Yes I did say that. ARE YOU DEAF?" His angry was building.
"No sir, its just that's umm...." I said nervously.
"It's crazy. Believe me I know but it's what you must do" he said irritated.
"I don't think that's in the contract you had me sign before working for you" I said.
"Who gives a damn about what's in the contract. I do want I want and you agree. You should be grateful that I am marrying you. With such low class and such ill manners." He said as he stood up and shamed his hand on his desk.
"Sir I'm sorry but-" I started to say but I was interrupted.
"Listen you ungrateful, unsanitary, sluty, crusty, dumbass bitch. You better marry me or I will tell everyone in any business not to hire you. They won't even take you at McDonald's" he said in a dangerously low voice.
"So you'll blackmall me." I said terrified.
"I won't have a choose if you defy me. And don't flatter yourself I still hate you, " he said causally.
"Then why marry me" I said in a whisper because I couldn't believe what was happening right now
"I need to get something from this marriage. Don't question, all you need to do is marry me. Don't worry I will reconcile you for your service" he said causally again.
"I don't understand" I said.
"Ugh you're so dumb. I will give you the recommendation that you have been longing to get. All I need is one year of your worthless time." He said.
"But wouldn't I have gotten the recommendation after my internship was finished?" I questioned.
"You're so funny cow. Did you honestly think I would have give you a good recommendation? What did you think? Because you survived three years of my torture that I would put in a good word for you?" He said laughing.
"I just though-" I gulped down the feelings I had. It was mostly rage that I felt towards him I wanted to snap him like a pencil and run him over with a big as semi truck.
"NO YOU THOUGHT NOTHING." He yelled.
I sat there in silence.
"So risk being blackballed and probably homeless or marry me for a year. You'll get a great review that will probably land you the CEO position of my second biggest company" he summarized.
"I..." I started to say. I didn't know what to do. Marry Satan for a year or never get a job because of him.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
