Third Person P.O.V
It's 9 hour flight from Paris to Chicago. And then an hour to hospital. Brandon hadn't said a word after that dreadful call and Sofia was getting worried. Eventually they made it to hospital.
"Can you tell us where is our Grandpa?" Sofia asked politely from the lady sitting on the counter.
"Can you tell me his name?" The girl asked.
"David Maxwell." Brandon replied.
"He is in 3rd floor, room 72." She said and they rushed into 3rd floor.
As soon as elevator stopped, they made there way to room 72 and saw Alex, Xavier and mama standing outside the room.
"Brandon," Alex said.
"Why? Why Grandpa is in hospital? What the fuck is going on?" Brandon asked, obviously worried.
"He was shot." Xavier replied.
"How...?" He was cut off by the doctor "Can you please tell this Brandon boy to come soon?"
"I am here." Brandon said.
"The patient is continously asking for you, please come with me." Doctor said.
"He is OK? Right?" Brandon asked doctor as he hoped for well-being of his Grandpa.
Brandon worriedly went inside the room, wishing to see his Grandpa healthy but what he saw was completely opposite. There, his Grandpa was lying on his deathbed, covered with different type of wires.
Brandon sat beside him, "Grandpa," he whispered in low voice.
"Brandon.... You're..... here? Why.... did you come back?........ Tell me is Sofia
pregnant?" Grandpa asked.
"No! She is not!" Brandon said.
"I want to see my Grand child but I am afraid I can't." Grandpa said.
"Brandon, will you.... will you fulfill my last wish?" Grandpa asked.
"Last wish? You're saying as if you're going somewhere but let me tell you, you're not going anywhere." Brandon said sternly.

"Please, Brandon." Grandpa begged.
"Tell me!"
"Sofia is all you have left, she is your only family. Take care of her, this is my last wish, Brandon. It is not only my last wish but it was your mom's last wish also." Grandpa said and Brandon blinked his eyes, confused.
Before he could ask what does his Grandpa means. The machine beside him started beeping faster.
"Doctor!" Brandon shouted for doctor.
Doctor came inside the room along with Alex, mama, Xavier and Sofia. Doctor checked Grandpa's heartbeat and shook his head before saying, "He is no more."
Sofia P.O.V.
"It's gonna be OK!" I said as I hugged his back.
It's been one whole week since Grandpa's death. Everyone is upset but not more then Brandon. Brandon is not responding. He is not talking to anyone. I thought to give him sometime but now it's too much.
"Brandon?? Please say something." I said.
"I hate you! I hate you so much!" He said and pushed me away from him.
"He died! They died! Everything happened because of you." He shouted.
"Why did you born? Oh yeah! You were born to destroy everyone's life." But what is my fault in all of this?
"If you think yelling at me will make you happy then yell at me, yell at me till you feel good." He is just taking out his sadness at me.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you destroying me?" He looked so miserable.
"You're my life, Brandon and I would never destroy my life." I said.
"You're so fake. I hate you. I hate being with you." As much as I want to say his words doesnt hurt me but I can't. His words does hurt me.
I stayed quite, I couldn't say anything. I am mentally exhausted, here i am trying to help him and he is pushing me away. I cannot continue this argument anymore.
"Go and freshen up. I'll heat up the dinner, you need to eat." I gave him a small smile.
