《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》46 | we can't be friends

"Bathroom?"
Taehyung repeated and remembered how Susan was pointing at the floor repetitively as if she wanted to tell them something, show them something and now he was also feeling that maybe Jimin was right and they might find her body down there.
"There must be the body, Mr. Min. Susan's body is there. Under the tiles, but how did he do that?" Taehyung questioned taking a deep breath and the man seemed to give this a thought.
"We don't know how powerful that wand can be so must be some spell I am assuming," he said and started walking to the window, "Meet at your house midnight. Use that key spell to get in. Your father wants to talk to you. He has some explanation to do and also we will together think of how to fix this."
"Mr. Min. My father, tell me is a good father?" Taehyung asked and the old one smiled, "That's subjective. Your father wasn't a really good one until when we met, when he got to know about this, he was scared to lose you because he doubts Jonhan might come after you one day."
"He will himself justify himself tonight son. I think you would get all the answers from him. Be a little patient," he flashed a smile and turned into the bird he came here as and flew away.
"I can't believe this Tae, tell me it's all a lie," Jimin said, his eyes fixed on the window, "Now what about Jeongguk?"
"What about him? He is on the way to break up with me. He is so pissed at me and now I tell him about this, he will probably punch me in the face but that's understandable." Taehyung sat on the edge of the bed and already felt this heaviness inside of him.
"Go talk to him, Taehyung. You can't give up, don't talk about the mage, talk about yourselves. Apologize and make it up man," Jimin suggested and his best friend nodded, agreeing to it.
He can't let Jeongguk go, not because of his father's stupid acts.
No, he was unfair to Jeongguk but he had his own reasons as well. Debatable who was at more fault however they both had to understand each other at this point. Taehyung wanted the other back but he was too embarrassed and hesitant to reach out to him, what if he makes things even worse?
"Please, Taehyung. Don't let the distance be for much long because if you don't do anything now, I doubt things will ever fix and man he is really hurt, too hurt to approach you now. It has to be you, man." Jimin walked up to him and patted his shoulder, "Please go, baby. Get your boyfriend back."

Taehyung nodded.
He didn't waste time and considered this suggestion. He was already walking to his boyfriend's room. With hopes in the flaps of his heart and a half forced smile on his lips, he knocked on the other's door.
Millions of feelings inside of him as he waited for the other to open it and once he did, he just melted into the other's hard chest as he quickly went close to hug him tightly, using all his force.
"Please forgive me, please." Taehyung buried his face in the crook of the younger's neck, hands wrapping around his torso and Jeongguk just stayed there, frozen. Too overwhelmed to even say or do anything.
Oh he wanted to hug back so much but he was mad and half of him didn't give him permission to hug back.
"Jeongguk, I am sorry, baby. Please don't do this. Don't push me away." Taehyung cried out, fat tears that were building inside now finally came out.
"Didn't I say this to you too? Did you believe me and give me a chance? Why should I?" Jeongguk finally decided to speak and once he did, Taehyung let out the ugliest sob tightening the hug, "I am sorry."
"I made a mistake, I know but I promise I will never repeat this again, this is the last time." the brunet pleaded and the other didn't utter a single word and kept on standing like an inanimate object.
"Taehyung, don't do this baby." Jeongguk said slowly pushing the other away and cupped his cheeks, his eyes a little watery at the corners, "Don't try this, I need some time to think about us, I need some time to replay everything and you forcing your sorrys won't do anything, moreover will fuck things up even more so please, don't apologize and just give me some time, I am sure I will come around."
"But Jeongguk," Taehyung blinked causing the tears hanging in to rush down and Jeongguk immediately wiped them away with his thumb, "What if you never can persuade yourself to get back to me? What will I do then?"
"Hey, we didn't date for much long, and those words like I love you, they probably were just too early to say, our bond wasn't that strong so yeah you will get over me," Jeongguk didn't know how wrong that sounded because no, they didn't date for long but the way they learnt to be a better person through this journey and the way these feelings were getting strong, this wasn't something they could forget in a long time.
"No, what are you saying, Gguk? I can't get over you, it was my father and not you and I am so sorry for not believing you. I genuinely am. Please try and understand my side too, try to see things from my point of view too." Taehyung said rubbing his left hand on the other's hand that was on his cheek.

"Tae, listen to me," Jeongguk started, "You and me don't have the most important thing between us and that's trust. What's the point of living a relationship where at many points of our life, we might doubt each other, that will be horrible."
"No, we will learn to do that." Taehyung let out another sob and looked into the other's eyes, "Jeongguk please, we can't end like this."
"You already ended us, Taehyung. Now it's just I am making it clear. It's better if we break up now because in the future if any of us again doubts each other, it will be more difficult because that time we might just fall deeper." that small smile at the corner of his lips as Jeongguk croaked out those words, trying his best to not cry out loud.
"Jeongguk, one last chance is all I am gonna ask for." Taehyung again went and hugged the other more tightly than before. He can't let go of someone who made him a better person, the one who made him feel free, the one who makes his heart flutter like that.
He can't regret any more than he already was, he wanted to bury himself six feet under for even doubting the younger but the circumstances were so against them, he made that mistake and look what they turned into.
"I can't live with this regret, Jeongguk. I can't afford to lose you," Taehyung whispered, feeling their heartbeats next to each other.
Jeongguk hummed, biting on his bottom lip because he was just one moment away from breaking down into tears, "Taehyung, baby. Let's just give each other some time, yeah?"
The older pulled away and breathed in and out as he held onto the other's hands and pulled them up to kiss them, "I am ready to do that if and only if you promise to think about it."
"I will, Tae. I promise I will." Jeongguk smiled leaning down to kiss the other's forehead who closed his eyes feeling those lips against his skin.
Oh he will miss his touches.
He pulled away and they have a good amount of eye contact that lead to the older one leaning closer and Jeongguk didn't move away, he stayed there and waited for Taehyung to kiss him.
What is even this?
Taehyung sure did pecked the other's lips only to pull away immediately. He asked a question that broke both their hearts into millions of pieces.
"What are we now?"
"Friends." Jeongguk let out a small laugh, wiping the other's next batch of tears away, "Even though we can't be friends."
"Please do think about because Jeon Jeongguk, I want you back in my life with a promise that I will never ever doubt your honesty in our relationship again."
This could have ended then and there, they could have gotten back to each other then and there but Jeongguk wanted some time because Taehyung doubted him once, he might do it again in future. So, he needed some to think about it even though it's absurd because he knew the answer already.
He will give the other a chance eventually however still wants to think about this and Taehyung approved because after whatever he did, it was justified and he didn't have the mouth to say something against it.
"So friends it is then." Taehyung with a pang in his heart mumbled, getting closer and watched the other's face from this close.
"Let me just admire your handsome face before I am not allowed to anymore." he whispered feeling his body getting heavy. His chest was paining at the thought only and Jeongguk saw his body shaking.
"Taehyung, get some rest." Jeongguk suggested, holding onto his waist and the older just let his whole body weight on the other's chest, "Why do we have to part, Jeongguk? Why is it is?"
"Why did I have to be so stupid?" Taehyung was asking all those questions at once, "Why am I such a fool?"
"Taehyung you're shaking, go back to your room and rest."
"Okay listen," Taehyung kept his palms on the other's shoulder and rested their foreheads together.
"I did the mistake to doubt you baby but never doubt me. I promise everything I will do is for you and the best."
"What do you mean?" Jeongguk asked, not getting what the other meant to say.
"Nothing, I am just, I will leave now, thank you for everything." Taehyung mumbled moving away and smiled before turning around to leave.
Jeongguk so wanted to hug the other from the back and stop him but no, he won't.
Taehyung gave him one last look and flashed a smile before walking away.
With that, the blond broke into tears.

8 117Web of Isolation
Dane Kain: he was, on the whole, very uninvolved with life. He never had any particularly lingering attachments to life and tended to let himself be carried away by the flow of things, a fact that would become very important after his sudden death when he awoke as something completely alien. Using some half remembered fun facts from his passing obsessions in life as well as a penchant for making things work that simply shouldn't, hopefully Dane will stand a chance as the creation he has now become.
8 179Valkyries and Blade Dancers
It has been a millennium since the dawn of the war between the aradama and the Toji and there are absolutely no signs of the conflict ending. However, this would all change during the 123rd National Swordsmanship Tournament. One after the other, multiple calamitous events rocked the island nation of Japan to its core...
