"Didn't you lock the door―" Jeongguk mumbled and Taehyung held his breath, eyes on who was there at the door.

"I did but maybe it's some spell,"

"Ah fuck, Jennie. What the hell?" the brunet almost shouted but controlled his tone volume remembering that his parents are downstairs, "What are you doing here and also why did you use spell to break into my room?"

"First you answer me, what is Jeon Jeongguk doing here at this time?" she asked, her hands on her hips and with raised brows that show nothing but suspicion.

"He can come here? There's nothing wrong with it?"

"Taehyung, you didn't have to lie about it, like he could have eaten dinner with us?" Jennie was actually pointing to something as she had her own doubts just like the whole Belfort had and she was hinting at that of course.

"Don't make a fuss about this, Jenjen, just leave. We are just talking about some important stuff," Taehyung said moving a little away from his boyfriend who didn't say a single word since she arrived.

"Jennie, actually," Jeongguk finally talked and she glanced at him as she walked in and closed the door behind.

"I am listening, continue."

"Please Jeongguk, what the fuck! We don't have to explain things to her. Just let her be," Taehyung said annoyed and glared at his sister.

"At least, tell her." Jeongguk squeezed his boyfriends hand who realized that the other might have been upset about him not talking about them in the public. He knows he will never say this but probably he always avoiding talking about them being together, keeping them a secret and only open to their own circle bothered him, even in the slightest way.

"Jenjen, we are dating," he didn't waste a single minute more and said that. He looked over his shoulder at the younger who was grinning like an idiot but he was his idiot so doesn't matter.

"Wait what? Dating as in boyfriends?" she was awestruck at the piece of information. She had a doubt about it from some time when his brother couldn't stop talking about Jeon Jeongguk over phone.

"Yeah," Taehyung smiled.

"Oh my God, oh my God!" Jennie almost squealed as she couldn't believe it. She was so happy about it and she knew Jeongguk was a nice choice cause Taehyung had been happier the past few days and wasn't only talking about studies and stuff. He was a little more relaxed and that makes her happy.

"I am very happy for you guys," Jennie said, ruffling his brother's hair who showed her his middle finger, "Don't you do that, you just messed up my style."

"You look cute either way," Jeongguk pressed his lips on his boyfriend's cheek which made the only girl present there giggle so loudly, "I want a boyfriend now."

"You're single, what?" Taehyung asked rolling his eyes at Jeongguk before again focussing on his sister, "You're so fucking hot and pretty, how can my sis be single? I thought you were lying to me."

"Why would I lie―" she stopped, knitting her brows, "I actually don't have anyone. Please most boys are shit."

"Well yeah, there ain't many boys like Jeon Jeongguk, sucks to be the one who didn't get a Jeongguk," Taehyung laughed leaning against the other's shoulder who was smiling at the compliments, too happy to say anything.

"Nah, he is still an idiot for fighting with you," Jennie said getting off the bed, "Whatever it is, Imma leave you two alone. Don't want to be the reason you two can't spent alone time together."

"Yeah, you finally understood, now leave," Taehyung said, his voice sassy as hell and Jeongguk laughed.

"Ah finally," the younger one pushed Taehyung to the bed once Jennie was out and the door was closed behind, "Now I swear someone comes in and I will set their clothes on fire."

"Imagine my dad coming in―" Taehyung just imagined this one scene and was terrified at the mere thought only, that will be his worst nightmare.

"Please, don't even say that, that's gonna be so bad. You will probably make up some bad excuse," Jeongguk's right hand held Taehyung's and they intertwined their fingers.

He was about to lean in for another kiss when his phone started vibrating in his pocket.

"Why is everyone's timing so bad?" Jeongguk got off and took the call as it was from his dad.

"Where are you, Jeongguk?"

He heard his dad ask him, his voice shaky and laced with nothing but pure fear.

"Dad, calm down. What happened? I am at Taehyung's."

"Just stay where you are and also keep Taehyung safe. Moreon is missing and I am afraid he might harm you, I am coming to Taehyung's house as soon as possible." his father said and ended the call.

"Dad listen to me, fuck!"

"Hey what happened? Is everything alright?" Taehyung asked worried when his boyfriend got off the bed and kept on walking forward and backward.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Jeongguk cursed under his breath.

"What is going on?"

"Tae, my dad is coming here. Now your dad will know about me being here, also Moreon is missing and my dad was worried about us both and is coming here," Jeongguk said, feeling guilty of whatever is gonna happen next, "I am so sorry, Tae. I shouldn't have come here. What if my dad spills about us? He isn't even picking up my calls now. Most probably he won't but what if?"

Jeongguk threw the phone on the bed and covered his face with both his palms.

"I am sorry," Jeongguk repeated but what Taehyung did was hug him, "It's not your fault idiot, it's no one's fault. So don't blame yourself, I didn't even stop you so I am to blame just as much."

"Hey, whatever your dad's decision is after he knows about us, we ain't stopping right. We will still be dating right?" Jeongguk asked feeling this sudden uneasiness in his chest, that feeling of terror of losing someone or getting away from someone you love, yes exactly that feeling.

"My dad can't do shit,"

"We cannot end before we even started," Jeongguk said pulling away and cupped his cheeks, "Say this will go on, we will go on."

"We will, Jeongguk. Calm down," Taehyung held the hands cupping his own cheek and looked into the other's eyes, "I didn't want to tell my dad because I didn't want this extra pressure of him lecturing me but that doesn't mean that when he knows about this, I will leave you. I know our relationship isn't that strong yet but honey, it's not that weak either."

Jeongguk didn't reply to it, rather pressed their lips in a small kiss. Once he pulled away, Taehyung grabbed his hand and started pulling him.

"Where are we going?"

"It's better to tell him myself rather than him getting to know this from someone else? So let's just tell him,"

"Lemme introduce my boyfriend to my parents, let's go," the brunet was pulling him downstairs and with every step they took, their anxiety, nervousness and what not crashed their insides.

But still, they put on a small smile as Taehyung continued to pull the younger to the living room where his dad and mom was sitting with the television on.

"Mom, dad―" he called and they now focused on the two boys instead of the television series they were watching on Netflix.

"Mr. Jeon, what a pleasant surprise." Taehyung's dad knitted his brows at this unexpected presence and gave his son a look which wasn't quite pleasant to be honest.

Jeongguk's heart dropped at this.

"I wanted to tell you something, actually we wanted to tell you both something."

"And what's that? That you two are dating?" he asked that shocked both the boys.

So he knows. Then why didn't tell Taehyung something about it. Why didn't he oppose to this decision.

"You already know this?" Taehyung asked and his father nodded, stretching his arms, "I know everything that's going on in your life son even if you don't want me to know, but I do."

"Wow, isn't it now a breach of privacy? That's surely not a nice thing, dad." Taehyung argued, totally not approving how controlling his father sounds.

"See Mr. Jeon. It's been a few days with you and my son is arguing with me. Great right?" he asked, with a stone cold voice while Jeongguk just stared quiet.

"Tell me, does you father know about this? Or should I tell him? I was thinking of talking to him about this and how you two should be away from each other, just was waiting for him to get a little better, I am sure he won't like this matter at al―"

"Sir, my dad is very happy about this. He approves this. He is trying to be a good dad, unlike you, stop controlling your son as if he is a puppet, let him live," Jeongguk couldn't just keep these words inside anymore.

He saw how Taehyung suffered because of this man standing in front and now that he got the chance to say this, he did.

"Mr. Jeon, stay in your limits," Taehyung's mother interrupted and Taehyung glanced at her, his eyes full of tears threatening to fall any moment. She knew about all these but never took a stand for him. She realized how much of a bad mother she was for letting his husband throw all his decisions on him and she being quiet all the time.

Those tears in her son's eyes were enough to let her know how wrong she was.

"No, ma'am. You don't know how much he tried to be your favourite, you don't know how he cried when you didn't appreciate him. Oh please, you know it all, you even know that he tried to suicide but still―"

"Jeongguk stop," Taehyung grabbed the younger's hand trying to stop him but no, he didn't. He knew this was the first and last chance to say it all.

To let his father see the mirror.

To face the truth, doesn't matter if he accepts it or not, he will say these.

"See the truth, sir. He did everything he had to and still doing everything he can, the least you can do is appreciate him, give him some freedom. Rivalry, huh" Jeongguk let out a bitter chuckle, "My dad is your rival too and being the mage, he should be pressurising me more than you, but he doesn't."

"He never told the teachers to give me extra points, it was always me cheating and taking the advantage but now I know it was all wrong and stopped. My dad always wanted the best candidate to win and still does. Please I am sorry to say but you failed as a father. If you can, go and learn from my dad how to be good father."

"How dare you, you piece of shit?" the man shouted and was about to slap his own son for even bringing Jeongguk in their house but before he could do that, the doorbell rang.

"It's my dad, sir. Please do learn to be a good father from him."
