《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》29 | the group study fail

"The fuck—"
Jimin cursed throwing the book away, leaning against his best friend's arm, already giving up on studies. He will surely fail but he just didn't care anymore.
A year repeat doesn't give him a headache but when he remembers that Taehyung will most probably pass and walk out if Belfort or even be the mage— no, that's not something he can live with. He can't live without Taehyung.
"Please I already give up, I will go back, I am out," Jimin said nonetheless because this very moment, he just couldn't focus. He would rather have some quality sleep than memorising this bullshit.
"Then why did you even join? It's only been roughly half an hour?" Namjoon asked looking up at the boy sitting on the bed with his best friend while the others were on the floor with their books.
"I am tired okay? And also I really thought that y'all will just stop studying after some time and then we will chat or something," he gave an excuse and leaning more into the brunet's touch if that was possible.
Taehyung stole a glance at Jeongguk who smiled at him before he looked down at the pages full of writing. Ah those eyes just do some magic and he will get lost if he stares at them one more minute.
Jeongguk's eyes tell.
How much adoration he holds in them for him.
The way he softly smiles at him, the way his voice gets tender whenever he is talking to him compared to when he talks to others.
"Ah shit," he murmured softly looking away just that instant and Jeongguk smiled to himself.
"I will get back, Tae." Jimin said and the moment he said those words, Taehyung's expression dropped. He wanted to stay longer and Jimin got the hint.
"Giant, you will go with me too, come here," Jimin got off the bed and started pulling Namjoon's t-shirt causing him to stand up and groan, "What is it?"
"I can't study or stay here in this shithole, but I know Taehyung will stay and complete this lesson so you come with me," he said continuing to pull the fabric.
"Yeah and why do you think I will leave with you?" the taller male asked while the cotton candy haired boy just sighed, "Because I want you to, now come on, don't be a brat. I will give you all the snacks I have in my room but please les go."

"What's wrong with your bestie?" Namjoon asked Taehyung who didn't say anything about this and then watched the ones sitting on the floor that comprises of Jeongguk, Hoseok and Jackson.
"Just go with him if he is insisting, you already know these spells don't you?" Jeongguk laughed, closing the book and keeping it aside.
"Please why not Taehyung and why me?" the one getting dragged asked and Jimin just let go off the fabric and frowned, "Cause I know Taehyung would love to stay here and if I had to pick anyone from the rest, it's gonna be you, but you're too annoying so no, I don't want you to tag along anymore. I will go alone. Bye."
"And Taehyung bring back my books with you, even though they aren't of any use to me," Jimin nonchalantly ordered and was already marching forward leaving Namjoon dumfounded.
"He is mad, isn't he?"
"He is, go after him and he will alright," Taehyung suggested.
Namjoon and Jimin were already out of the room and Jackson elbowed Hoseok the moment they were out.
"Shouldn't we leave them alone like....?" Jackson leaned closer and whispered near Hoseok's ear glancing over at Taehyung who was focussing on the book again.
Jeongguk knitted his brows at his friends whispering to themselves and decided to ask, "What is with you both? What are you talking about? Guys, did you just leave me alone?"
"No? I was saying that his rainbow socks suck?" Jackson lied and Jeongguk knitted his brows noticing Hoseok's rainbow socks which were pretty cute.
"They look pretty, what do you mean, Jackson?"
"It has Dora printed on the side, oh Lord!"
"Even I don't like Dora," Jeongguk laughed and Taehyung was just there sitting silently as they continued this weird conversation. It was actually getting awkward with every passing moment.
They kept on studying, asked each other questions and mostly it was Taehyung who answered them all cause the others were shit at this.
In between them, they exchanged some jokes and stuff and at one point, Hoseok let out a yawn and mumbled, "I am done, can't do this anymore."
"Same, man." Jackson sighed.
"But we aren't done...." Taehyung wanted to say but the others were already leaving the room, "You can stay. Help Jeongguk. I am too exhausted to even stay here."
"Ah right, bye," Jeongguk as soon as they exited the room hopped on bed excitedly and crashed beside the other who just let out a loud giggle.

"Hey hottie," the younger called leaning down and resting his head on the pillow in Taehyung's lap taking the book away from his hands, "Not gonna lie, was waiting for them to get the fuck out."
"Then why did you even invite them over? You could've just called me?" Taehyung said, a little surprised at the sudden act but also the moment he found himself running his slim, slender fingers along the other's blond hair locks.
"I thought you would feel weird or something?"
"So doing this now, telling me all these isn't weird anymore? Jeongguk, this doesn't make things any better," Taehyung laughed, looking down at his almost boyfriend?
"I saw how you smiled when they were all gone. So are not at all uncomfortable, are you?"
"Boy, you know what's the truth. Honestly Jeongguk, you're so sweet and adorable. I don't know why but you around me is something I like." the older one murmured staring at the other's eyes down.
"At least you find me cute, that's a progress," he said lifting his hand up and his thumb reach out for the other's lips and softly rubbed his bottom lip just like how Taehyung did yesterday during lunch hours.
"You just don't know how hard it is to just stare at them and not kiss," Jeongguk shamelessly pointed out moving his thumb up and down.
Taehyung didn't say anything and Jeongguk just pulled himself up and sat in front of him.
He slowly scooted closer and cupped the older's cheek, his wide smile dropping, "Ugh I should just stop talking, I probably make you uncomfortable don't I?"
Taehyung shook his head no,l whispering, "No, I mean. I am not uncomfortable by anything you are doing and that's just astonishing..." and then smiled pulling the other in a tight hug.
Jeongguk who lost his balance and ended up falling on the other who was hugging him tightly as his back got pressed against the wall, he smiled letting his body fall completely.
In silence they stayed like that, heartbeat close to each other and Jeongguk could actually feel the other's heart pounding against his own.
Blissful.
Comfortable.
Heavenly.
If this wasn't euphoria, what is?
Taehyung's hands roam around the latter's back while he closed his eyes and rested his whole weight on the the wall. He doesn't know what's holding him back cause he can't find one single reason to push this soul away.
"About us, Jeongguk...."
"Hmm," Jeongguk simply hummed anticipating him to continue the sentence as his hands slowly reached down to softly touch the brunet's waist.
"I don't wanna think anymore."
Jeongguk's heart dropped at those words. There was no longer any scope of saying yes. Taehyung said he doesn't want to think anymore and he just didn't know how to cope up with this piece of information.
"I understand." he murmured.
"I get it. But that doesn't mean we won't be friends anymore right? We will still be buddies." Jeongguk pulled away from the hug and pulled up that pained smile while the one in front just knitted his brows.
"What?"
"What."
"You said no to me? I mean you said you don't wanna think about us anymore," Jeongguk reminded that resulted the other to face palm, a long sigh melting into the cold air.
"You're so dumb, if it was a no, I wouldn't have told you that you're cute, I like you around me, I am not being uncomfortable and stuff. Ah shit you're an airhead." Taehyung got off the bed, frowning at how the other didn't get what he meant by he doesn't wanna think anymore.
That obviously meant that he was now sure of this.
Well not Jeongguk's fault. He had been expecting a no honestly like yeah he didn't expect him to mean it like that.
"Where are you going?"
"The group study failed so back to my room?" Taehyung said not believing at all that Jeongguk was still not talking about that.
But before he could get out, he felt himself stop in the middle when the younger wrapped his arms around his waist and hugged him from the back.
"If it's not a no, then tell me that it's a yes. Tell me clearly and not in riddles," Jeongguk's voice was deeper than usual and send chills down his spine when that hot breath hit the skin around his nape.
Taehyung tilted his head giving the younger more access to his skin and Jeongguk took this chance and placed a firm kiss.
"Say it, darling."

8 115AK - The Alchemy Kingdom
Karl always wanted to be a Mage. He was born in the Serion Kingdom, a fully pledged magic Kingdom. Seems like a perfect match, right? Unfortunately, no. He's just a commoner, working endlessly to maintaining the lifestyle of Mages. On his 15th birthday, his last chance to escape from a miserable life was destroyed when he was deemed to have no magic potential. For thousands of Serion's citizens that would be the end of their dreams. But how could this story be any fun, ending like that? Follow Karl and his friends while they tried to fight against the Kingdom's oppression. Will the system bend them to submission or will they break the chains of destiny? Spoiler alert: After thousands of years, an ancient Magic system will be reborn in the small Caiset village. What should you expect? - Kingdom Building: For sure! The heavy lifting will come later, I promise! Foundation is important, please be patient; - Epic battles: A Kingdom is not built without war and conflict. Who doesn't like good fights? Let's bring some excitement to this novel!; - Multiple leading characters: Karl convinced them to get on the bus, but this is a very long trip and everyone will need to drive a little; - Scientific Magic System: Especially Alchemy! I'm in no way trying to take the fantasy out of Magic. I just feel like trying to do something more logical. I'll probably stumble on a fine line, but I’m counting on you to keep me on track!; - World Building: I’m using some basic concepts from traditional Fantasy Worlds and trying to add some nice touches to make it unique; - Fun?: I'll try to insert some humor into the story, but that’s an experience we will go through together. Other points I find important: Alchemy is mostly crafting magic tools, but it will go a little further down the road. Even if you don't like crafting, weapon enhancing and whatnot, don’t give up on the novel. You might be surprised about Alchemy's reach later. Also, other types of Magic will play an important role here, just not the leading role. ......... Check out my two spin-off novels, Merchant Queen and Harbinger of Death! Both are independent novels, but with the same world setting... Maybe some crossover later... Either way, you can check them to get additional information on worldbuilding and hidden plots... Please leave a comment! If you want to help me more, support me on Patreon. I'm always trying to come up with new ways for you to participate in this journey. New Chapters on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday!
8 148Easy Is Boring ✓
"What if we fall apart again?""Then it's up to us to pick up the pieces again."-------------In which Beck and Jade realize that not everything is as easy as it seems, and that it's sometimes a good thing.[Beck Oliver x Jade West][Set between season 3-4]
8 68Tabula Rasa : An Unbound Adventure
It starts as many things do: a clean slate, an empty page. What once was set in stone and wholly writ is gone, and all that's left is the vague notion of absence, a fullness lacking. The feeling of being tetherless, pathless, without direction or responsibility is something many would find terrifying. Others might find it freeing - an opportunity to strike out on new adventures and explore the unknown.Either way, first they have to figure out where they are and how they leave. ====== My first novel on this platform! An avid GameLit/LitRPG fan, I decided to start writing this when I seemed to exhaust all of my options for well reviewed content on the site! Inspiration for the world/general feeling is a mix of Azarinth Healer, Abyssal Road Trip, Winterborn, and the Power of Ten series, with a strong reliance on 3.5 and PF1 frameworks as a scaffold for the world. I see Arc 1 as a Robinson Crusoe style coming to terms scenario, lots of exploration of the System, the MC's options, the island and encounters with the denizens and visitors of the Timeless Isle, with a non-zero amount of introspection around their long term goals. I'll publish as frequently as I'm able but don't have a regular cadence planned at the moment.
