《WANDS AND SPELLS | VKOOK ✓》03 | the secret among us

"What just happened?" Taehyung asked, flabbergasted at this act, like if Jimin's spell didn't work it could be normal but his spell not working― that's near about impossible.
"Dude, try again. The fuck," Jimin suggested causing the other to gulp and go for another attempt, "Ascendo!"
"Hell, I will cry now." Taehyung hysterically cried out, totally baffled on why is this happening but still on Jimin's words, he again tried and this time it worked. The pack of bread was now flying and the brunet got it for himself.
Biting on that already half eaten bread, Taehyung massaged his temples, giving this a deep thought. Of course he needs to know the reason behind this unusual act, "We might need to talk about this to our professors, no?"
"There's no we in this. That's gonna be just you because y'know the professors hate me for my wondrous marks and also my mind blowing performance in class hours," Jimin with a hint of pride coating his voice said despite the fact that it was totally unexpected and embarrassing for a student of Belfort, "But hell you need to tell them for sure."
"I think the bread was expired," Taehyung scrunched his nose in disgust having a weird taste of the yeast that might have started to rot at this point.
"I ate it, you eat it. We ain't dying because of that. Don't worry." Jimin assured with a tooth rotting sweet smile plastered on his lips and Taehyung sighed throwing that leftover bread in that trash can at the corner of the room.
"The fuck, you could've given that to me if you didn't like it," Jimin quickly stood up from his bed and walked to the trashcan. He kind of was contemplating if he should get it back or not as it was still in the packet, "I will kick your arse Taehyung, oof. My money, damnit!"
"Stop being a cheapstake, I will buy you a new one."
"Oh daddy, then it's fine."

The classroom was full of magic as all the students were practicing spells on Professor Moreon's class, "Students, behave yourself and be serious for once! For magic's sake, Calm down."
"Professor Moron, am I doing it right?" one of the students asked focusing on their metal bird cages those they needed to open and free the bird present in that.
"Eberdoo!" Jimin cast his spell grabbing that wand in his tiny fist as he moved it in front of the cage he was given but as expected, he couldn't unlock that and free the bird.

"Jimin it's not Eberdoo, it's Eubardoo." Taehyung rectified his bestie who sighed and threw his wand on the table scaring the little bird in the cage.
"Wow Mr. Kim, you can pronounce Eubardoo but you can't pronounce Moreon, how does that make sense?" the professor who was walking along the rows upon hearing this stopped and asked it while Taehyung cocked one of his brows, "I pronounce it the right way Professor Moron."
"One more time and I will deduct your points and also send you for detention." he warned, now shifting his gaze from Taehyung to the one cheekily grinning at the conversation, "You up for some detention too, Mr. Park?"
"Oh no, Professor Moreon, You're my favourite teacher I swear to God," Jimin dramatically gasped with his right palm on his chest to which the professor just rolled his eyes, "Of course, I believe you. Like totally, I do."
"Yes, thank you." Jimin smiled again, that contagious smile which could melt literally anyone honestly and glanced back the bird in the cage which was trying to break free.
"Daddy is here birdie." Jimin muttered under his breath getting his wand back and practicing the spell once again.
"Professor, I needed to talk to you about something really important," Taehyung said while Jimin's voice intensified in the background when he failed to open the cage this time as well.
"About what? I don't have time for that right now Mr. Kim, so after class?" he said taking steps ahead as he had to inspect the other students too while Taehyung nodded, "Fine."
He for a moment had an eye contact with Jeon Jeongguk sitting at a distance and fake gagged at him while the blond one held his middle finger up.
Taehyung immediately returned it with his own middle finger and before he gets angry, he chose to not look at him anymore and turned to Jimin who was still struggling with the cage.
"Dude, watch me," Taehyung tapped his best friend's shoulder and gestured him to concentrate on him as he was demonstrating how it should be done.
With stable hand moving the wand in a rotational motion, Taehyung with his deep, dulcet voice cast the spell, "Eubardoo!"
That moment sparkles were seen littering the warm air as the small metal door opened and the tiny, cute yellow bird flew out of the cage, "See, easy peasy. Now you do―"

Taehyung stopped talking when the bird sat on his head and fits of giggles came out of his mouth as he looked over at Jimin.
"I hope it shits," Jimin said annoyed when his bird was hitting the cage like a mad one wanting to get out as well, "Why can't I do this? Unfair."
The bird flew away when Jimin hit his best friend on his arm resulting him to almost fall off the bench but didn't however the bird wasn't there anymore.
"Let me help you," Taehyung held Jimin's hand that was already grabbing the wand tightly and held it up, "On the count of one, two and three―"
"Eubardoo!" their voice was loud and clear for the whole room to hear and all the attention was now on them. They together did it and the door not only opened but their combined powers just caused the door to aviate for some moments before hitting the ground.
"Marvelous!" the professor exclaimed observing the duo and walked up to them. He clapped for them, "You see how much power increases when you're working together? Even the most powerful wand won't work against your united power, get it kids?"
"Yes, professor!" they all agreed and spoke in unison before again getting back to their work.
Jimin watched the scared bird slowly making out of the cage and took a moment before flying away with the others but it came back after a minute only to hit Jimin's head with it's tiny beak, "Motherfucker."
"You don't curse at that sweet creature, Jimin." Taehyung laughed rubbing the place where it hid and ruffled his cotton candy hair.
The class ended and all the students were getting out of the room. As the hallway was flooded by them, Taehyung ran on the opposite side to catch up with the professor who almost forgot that they were supposed to talk.
"Professor!" he ran as fast as he could and that deep, loud voice finally caught the attention and he stopped in the middle, turning around, "Oh Mr. Kim, yeah you wanted to talk."
"Yeah," the brunet panted, his hands over his knees as he tried to catch his breath, "It's about last night."
"So―" Taehyung started, "Our spells didn't work for like some minutes. Jimin was trying―"
"Hold on, hold on. Mr. Park is bad at spells, you know it right. I gotta go, I have work to do."
The professor's voice was careful but again at the same time full of nervousness as if someone just caught him doing something he shouldn't have done in the first place and like the observant boy he is, Taehyung sensed that instantly.
The older was about to walk away when Taehyung stopped him as he started speaking again, "No, it's not just about Jimin, mine didn't work either. Do you think it's the wands, sir?"
"Probably, yeah." he with a a shaky voice said adding a nervous laugh at the end, "Supposedly it's the wand. Get your wands for inspection to Professor Ravi, he can help you."
"You're hiding something, Professor Moreon," Taehyung for the first time pronounced it right due to the seriousness of the issue, there's of course something behind this and the one standing in front obviously knew what it is but he ain't just spilling it.
"Ugh, Kim, it's not about anything," someone interrupted and Taehyung knew who it was.
Jeon Jeongguk.
He didn't even look behind to check because he knew that voice oh too well and even from at a distance he would recognize him. How fucking romantic!
"It's not the wands, it's just you're not as smart as you think you are." Jeongguk laughed, running his fingers through his soft, blond hair locks, "The problem lies in your spells."
"Did I even talk to you?" Taehyung hissed, glaring at the boy now standing beside him but making a safe distance cause y'know rivals don't stand so close. Weird logic but okay.
"Professor, tell me what's wrong?"
He got the hint that he can't just get away from this matter and so with a sigh melting into the air, he started explaining.
"Uh we are figuring that out. It's like everything shut off for those minutes. Belfort knows about this and we will take care of it," be explained and Jeongguk just cocked one of his brows at this new information, "Don't talk about this with anyone else yeah? Don't want the students and their parents to worry. We will fix whatever it was."
"For real, what shit's going on?"
"Language and Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeongguk, we don't really know right now but we will soon and all I ask you both to keep this a secret."
"A secret among us."
