《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 71-Trust

I felt myself drifting back to consciousness, waking up from a dream I was already beginning to forget.
My eyes were still closed, and my thoughts were a little hazy. I felt warm, very warm. Did I grab an extra blanket before I went to sleep? I started to shift around, and realized that wasn't the case at all. I remembered what had happened and opened my eyes.
Before I could really do anything, the alarm started ringing. I got annoyed by the stupid sound and ended up just knocking the thing off the nightstand. I'm pretty sure I broke it, but at least it wasn't ringing anymore.
Todoroki shifted around beside me and I just sighed, of course he'd been woken up by the alarm too. I rolled off the bed slowly, trying not to make too much sound.
I held back a string of complaints as my knee hit the ground hard. Probably another bruise to add to the collection.
I got up and grabbed my phone, checking the time. I must've been really tired yesterday, I slept through the whole afternoon and night. It was almost suspicious, I never slept this much. I shrugged it off, at least I was feeling better today.
I guess now it was time for the truly hard part, getting Todoroki up. Oh wait, I guess it's Shoto now. Kinda feels weird thinking about him like that and saying that. I guess it did just prove how much closer we had gotten, now that we were on a first name basis. I was getting off topic again though, I should be focusing on getting him up.
I was about to go closer and try to tap him or something when his eyes suddenly opened. It did surprise me a little bit, and I took a step back.

"Y/n?" He asked sleepily.
I don't know why but that just sounded really cute to me.
"Yes?" I responded, a smile slipping on to my lips.
"What time is it?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.
"About 7:00." I answered.
He yawned and stretched a little bit.
"We should probably get ready." I suggested.
"Yeah." He agreed.
He got up.
"This is why I'm glad our dorms are next to each other." He said.
I gave a small laugh as he went over to the door and opened it.
"See ya later!" I gave a small wave as he stepped out.
He nodded and closed the door.
I let out a breath as soon as I was alone. Did that really just happen? I know we're together now, but still. Although I have to admit, it did feel pretty nice. I didn't think I was much of a cuddly type, but maybe I was wrong? I don't even know anymore.
I pushed all my thoughts aside and began to get ready for class.
I finished and grabbed my bag before heading downstairs, wanting to get some breakfast before anything else strange happened. I looked around a bit and didn't really find interesting so I just grabbed a chocolate chip cookie(yep, definitely healthy breakfast food) and sat down at the table.
"Ah yes, I can always trust food." I said to myself.
I took a bite out of the cookie but soon realized I was wrong.
"OATMEAL." I spit it out.
"Ok, well I guess trust nothing." I grumbled to myself.
I sighed and grabbed my bag. I got up from the table again and left the dorm, deciding to skip breakfast.
It seemed like it was going to be a long, food and trust deprived day.
