《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 61-The Art of Infiltration

We neared the boundary line, which was just a gravel trail cutting through the forest.
We stayed in the cover of the trees, looking ahead to make sure there weren't any enemies at the front lines waiting to tag us. As we stared out of the bushes. Todoroki began to whisper to us again.
"Jiro's probably going to be listening for us to know when we're coming and from where. When we split up, we'll try to make as much noise as we walk as possible, to draw attention to ourselves. Y/n, I want you try to float and avoid any noisy objects like tree branches and bushes. We need you to slip past their defenses, so try to be as stealthy as possible." He gave me more instructions.
The others nodded and I hesitated before nodding as well. I needed to be quiet but I also needed to as fast as possible. It would be challenging, but I was committed to winning. I may or may not be a little too competitive for my own good. We looked around one more time before slipping across the border into enemy territory. We went in a little further, but then Todoroki stopped, so the rest of us did too.
"This is where we split. Uraraka go far left and Kaminari go far right. Me and Midoryia will go down the middle on the different sides. Y/n, I suggest you go with Kaminari and then just take a wider arc around them once you get close." Todoroki explained.
We all nodded again. It seemed like Todoroki had taken complete control of the situation. His leadership skills and capability to plan and make decisions while analyzing the situation were beyond what I thought they were. I knew it was bad for me to have underestimated him, but it like I was seeing a different side of him. Was this something new he had developed from training? Or was it something he always had that was drawn out when the situation came up?

I blinked and pushed away all of my wondering and questions, right now I had something else to think about.
Uraraka went to the left and Midoryia followed a little bit after her. Kaminari started going towards the right, so I drew some of the water out of all the plants and dew around us to make a cloud to float on. I followed him along for a little while before splitting off on my own to the right more.
I would have to make a wide arc around them to avoid getting too close and come up behind. The others wouldn't know when I would get there, so timing would be tough. For all I knew, they could be starting the fight right now. Or worse, they could already be captured by someone on the other team's defense.
I shook my head.
They weren't that ignorant. They could hold their own out there, distracting the other team while they were secretly infiltrated by their enemy. I sighed.
I made it sound like I was some secret agent or something.

Anyways, this story is about God's and creativity and bonkers off the wall (expletive) and rituals and God's and sex jokes. I probably got inspired by like all of the mythos stories that have been popping up on here. It's in a VERY rough form because I've just been getting back into writing. I've written like fifty thousand words already so I guess have fun.
