《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 58-Capture the Flag

I yawned as I headed downstairs for breakfast.
My lopsided tie and untucked shirt didn't really help put off the look of my eye bags and exhausted attitude today. I was only half awake, and nowhere near mentally prepared for school today. That still didn't change the fact that I had class soon, though.
I skipped the last couple of steps on the stairs as I rushed to the kitchen. After making a piece of thoroughly burnt toast, I felt I was ready to leave.
I gripped onto the bag on my shoulders as I left the dorms. I swallowed the last of my toast as I neared class and quickly sat down in my desk, most of the class already being there.
"You're a mess y/n!" Ura gasped when she saw me.
"I know, I know. You don't need to remind me." I grumbled.
She shook her head and stood up to come next to me. I just sighed as she began to fix my hair and my uniform. I couldn't care less anymore, so I didn't protest. After a few minutes of messing with my appearance, she sat back down, satisfied with her work. A few moments after that, Mr. Aizawa came in.
"Good morning class. We'll be doing a different training exercise today to get you back on a normal schedule. We'll be playing capture the flag. I'm sure you all know the rules, but I'll explain them just in case. There will be two teams, red and blue, which compete against each other. Both teams get a flag and will hide it somewhere in the woods around UA. The goal of the game is to get the other team's flag and make it over the boundary with it. However, if you do go over into the other team's territory they can capture you by touching a tracker you'll have to wear on your chest. It only registers to touch so don't try and use your quirks on it. After it's touched, you must be escorted to the team's 'jail' where you have to wait until a member from your own team releases you by pressing the tracker again. If you don't proceed to the jail, you will be disqualified. Quirks are permitted and encouraged, but do not excessively harm each other on purpose. Now then, the teams are posted on the board and you'll change into your training uniform before heading outside. Does everybody understand?" Mr. Aizawa explained.

Everyone nodded before getting up to check the board and going to change. I got up and went over to look at the teams.
It seemed like we were thoroughly matched. After committing it to memory, I left to go and change. After I finished I headed outside with a few other students. We waited near the edge of the woods for everyone else to come out. We were already sort of divided into our teams as we grouped together to wait for directions. Once everyone was out, Aizawa began to speak again.
"The red team will go out first to hide their flag, and then the blue team. You'll have some time to strategize, but when the siren sounds that's when the game begins. The neutral zone has been marked and you cannot be tagged there. That's also where you need to cross with the flag to win. I might've forgotten to mention this before, but if you're tagged while holding the flag, the flag has to be left where it was dropped. You can't pick it up and move it back to the hiding spot. There's also camera's everywhere to watch you, so we will know if you break the rules or need help. You can get your trackers and flags now." Aizawa finished.
We all went forward to pick up our trackers from a box that was set out. I grabbed one and stepped back to put it on. It easily attached to my uniform and I waited for everyone else to finish. Once our team was done, Aizawa stepped forward and handed the flag to Todoroki. We started going into the woods on our side, scouting around.
I couldn't help but feel anticipation at what was to come.
