《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 52-The Todoroki Family

Endeavor pulled into the driveway of what I assumed their house was and I waited as he parked the car. I got out with them and followed them inside. A girl came up to us when we came in. She looked like she was Todoroki's sister judging by the hair and eyes.
"You're home! Hey Sho! And...who is this?" She asked.
"Fuyumi, meet y/n. She's my classmate who's also doing her internship for Endeavor. The dorms are under construction so she'll be staying with us until they're fixed." Todoroki explained.
Fuyumi nodded.
"Well I'm glad you're staying here! I don't usually get to meet Sho's friends so this is nice." She sent me a warm smile.
"I have work to do." Endeavor stated.
He left abruptly, leaving me not sure what to do.
"Don't mind him. Now, I should probably show you around a little since I don't want you getting lost!" Fuyumi said.
I nodded and followed her as she gave me a tour around their house. It was a nice thought, but it would be a miracle if I remembered every hallway and room. She finished by showing me the room I would be staying in, it was on the second floor between Todoroki's room and Fuyumi's room.
"And that's about it! What do you think?" Fuyumi asked once we had stopped walking and talking.
"It's very nice. Although I'm not sure if I'll remember everything..." I responded.
"That's ok! Either me or Sho would probably be around to show you if you needed something." She reassured me.
I nodded.
"I probably should've asked you this first, but have you eaten yet? I wouldn't want one of our guests to be left hungry." Fuyumi said.
"No, I'm fine. We got some food on the way back from patrol." I replied.

"Ok, good. Well there's plenty of food in the kitchen if you're ever hungry." Fuyumi said.
I nodded again. Just then Todoroki rounded the corner.
"Oh! Sho! You're exactly who I was looking for. Come, come. I have to talk to you." Fuyumi said.
She pulled him away again and down the hall. I suppressed a laugh and went into my room. I left my stuff on the floor and sat down on the bed. I looked around and sighed. The tables had really turned on me. Being bored and curious, I decided to leave my room and try and get to know the house better. I walked down the stairs and around a little. I had no idea where Fuyumi and Todoroki were, but it wasn't really my business anyway. Getting bored again, I started to head back to my room. As I reached the stairs I saw Todoroki going down them. Was he...blushing? He passed me without saying anything so I just dismissed the thought and continued upstairs. Fuyumi was coming out of her room just as I was about to go into mine.
"Y/n! I forgot to tell you. Since you came here kind of suddenly, I'm guessing you forgot clothes. You can borrow some of mine if you need to." Fuyumi offered.
"Oh thank you. If you're ok with it then that would be great." I responded.
She nodded.
"Here, you can come pick out some things to sleep in." Fuyumi said.
I nodded and followed her into her room. She showed me a few options and I picked what to wear. I was getting tired so I said goodnight to her and headed to my room to change and go to sleep. After I was done getting ready for bed, I turned off the light and laid down to sleep.
As my eyes began to close, I thought about everything that had happened, and what might happen tomorrow as my internship continued.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Letters from Shanti Ashram, India
I lived in India from 1984-2005, and wrote to my parents regularly about my adventures in Indian ashrams. From 1984-1993 and again 2001-2005, I was living in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, and I am adding all of those my "Letters from India" book, which will mainly be of interest to those familiar with Prasanthi Nilayam, the ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. However, from 1994-2001 I was staying at a wonderfully spiritual, quiet retreat called Shanti Ashram, and I am putting the letters I wrote to my parents while staying there, on this book. The ashram was a dream come true for sadhana. The people are welcoming, it is usually never crowded, and they offer separate cottages to aspirants. The rates are donation basis only.
