I sat back down next to Ura in the stands.

"You guys were gone for a LONG time." Ura whispered to me.

I rolled my eyes.

"Shush, no we weren't." I responded.

"What're you talking about?" Todoroki asked as he sat down with us.

"Nothing important." I waved off his question.

"Alright then..." He seemed hesitant to say something more.

Deciding the conversation had ended, I looked back at the arena.

"Deku's going against Shinso first, right?" I asked.

Ura nodded.

"Then I think it's Todoroki and Sero." She responded.

Todoroki nodded.

"And then it's you and Mina." He said.

Izuku and Shinso walked into the arena.

"This should be interesting." I commented.

They both nodded. I watched the match progress, and saw Shinso talking to Izuku. I couldn't hear what they were saying from so far away, though. It looked like Izuku responded angrily, but suddenly froze. Shinso said something and Izuku began to walk out of the ring.

"He must have control over him..." I murmured as I watched Izuku slowly start to walk towards the boundary line.

On the outside, it didn't seem like Izuku was putting up a fight. I knew that he must be fighting for control in his mind, though. He was close to going out of bounds, when a sudden blast of air went up in the arena. I squinted my eyes to see what was happening down in the ring. It looked like Izuku had snapped out of Shinso's control somehow, and was charging him now. Shinso was trying to talk to Izuku again, but he wasn't responding. It seemed like Shinso needed someone to talk to him or answer him to take control of them. Without Izuku under Shinso's control, Shinso was completely overpowered. Deku reached him and started trying to push him out of bounds. Shinso retaliated by punching him in the face, but he just kept going. Shinso tried to fight back, but Izuku grabbed him and flipped Shinso over his shoulder, leaving part of Shinso's leg out of bounds.

"We have a winner! Shinso is out of bounds, so Midoryia wins!" Midnight announced.

"I didn't think Izuku was capable of being that violent." I said.

"Me neither." Ura responded.

"He's just doing everything he can to win." Todoroki commented.

I nodded.

"It's your turn, right? You should get down there." I turned to Todoroki.

He nodded and got up.

"Good luck! We'll be cheering for you!" I said happily.

He gave a slight smile before his face turned back to his normal expression. He left and I looked back at Ura.

"Did you see that?!" Ura exclaimed.

"What?" I asked.

"He just smiled! You made him smile, y/n!" Ura said excitedly.

"So?" I wasn't sure why it was so important.

"He never smiles!" Ura said.

"What do you mean? He smiles all the time with me." I replied, still a little confused.

She gave a gasp that quickly turned into a squeal.

"You make him happy!" She exclaimed.

I shrugged.

"Maybe he finds me being an idiot funny." I responded, sarcasm lacing my tone.

She shook her head.

"I think you two are the only ones that don't see it." She announced confidently.

"I think you and Izuku are the only ones that don't see it." Her face turned a lovely shade of tomato red.

"What?! What do you mean?! There's nothing to see!" She assured me quickly.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah sure." I looked back at the center of the stadium

Sero and Todoroki had both stepped out into the arena.

"Begin!" Midnight started the match.

Sero immediately shot out his tape and captured Todoroki. He swung him around and it looked like he would be knocked out of bounds. Todoroki put up an ice wall to stop his momentum before sending up a huge blast of ice. His ice covered almost half the arena. I realized my jaw was hanging open and quickly closed it.

"That was...powerful?" I didn't know how to describe it.

Ura nodded. Midnight walked over to Sero.

"Be honest, can you move?" She asked.

"No! I can't even feel my legs!" He responded.

"Sero is immobilized, Todoroki wins!" Midnight announced.

Todoroki walked over to Sero and began to melt him out of the ice.

"Sorry about that. I think I went a little overboard." I heard Todoroki say.

He finished melting Sero and went back out of the arena. A few minutes later, he appeared back in the stands. He walked over to us again.

"Well I definitely wasn't expecting that."
