《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 11-Surprise Guest

I flopped down on my bed and sighed. I took out my phone and scrolled down to Camie's contact. I called her and waited for it to ring. She picked up.
"Hey Cam." I said.
"Hey y/n! Wow it's been so long!" She said happily.
We talked for a while and I told her about everything that had happened. She had always been good at giving relationship advice, and just any advice in general.
"Wow. He sounds totally awesome! You totally got a good one. I think you should either take the first move and ask him out, or if you can't work up the nerve to ask straight away, just drop hints or show that you wanna get closer. But it's like totally obvi that you both like each other!" She said.
"You think so?" I asked reluctantly.
"Yass!" She practically yelled over the phone.
I sighed.
"I still don't know how I feel. I don't even know if I'm ready for a relationship. Wouldn't it get in the way of my studies? Besides, if we were dating and then we had to go against each other in training he probably wouldn't give his all. I don't want to be a bad influence on his hero education." I told her.
"Well if you keep that attitude then you totally won't get into a relationship!" She said.
"What if I don't want to get into a relationship?" I asked.
"If you didn't want to, then why did you tell me all about this?" She asked.
"True, but I just wanted to see what you thought." I told her.
"Mkay, well good luck!" She encouraged.
I heard my mom calling me.
"I have to go. I'll call you later, ok?" I said.

"Totally!"
I hung up and headed downstairs.
"What's up?" I asked my mom.
"There's someone here for you." She said while smiling.
I wondered who would want to visit me. I walked over to the door while trying to smooth out my hair. I opened it and saw someone who I didn't expect to be here.
"Hey. Sorry for showing up all of a sudden." Todoroki said.
"Oh, um, no problem!" I said quickly.
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I wanted to see if you actually wanted to go train today. I found a different place that you should be fine with. I won't be able to tomorrow so I wanted to see if you could today." He explained.
"Ok! Let me get ready and I'll be out in a few minutes." I told him.
I ran back upstairs and changed before putting my hair up. I ran back down and saw him standing outside near the door. I waved goodbye to my mom before heading out.
"It's not far from here, it should only take a few minutes to get there." He said.
I nodded and followed him. After a little while, we came to a small lake. A few trees bordered it, but other than that it was mostly empty. He walked to the edge of the shoreline.
"Ready to start?"

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.
