《Water and Ice | Shoto Todoroki》Chapter 6-Prepping

The week went by fast, classes and training went by in a blur. We didn't do anything significant but now it was time for the weekend. At least I'd gotten a lot closer with my classmates, though. I was on a first name basis with all the people I was closest to, and Uraraka's gained the nickname of Ura after us spending so much time together.
But then there was the other topic of my training sessions with Todoroki. The 'training' usually just consisted of him trying to get me to use my ice, and then me not wanting to in case I ruin our meeting spot. I hoped he would pick a different place soon so I could stop worrying about damaging the beauty. Seems dumb in retrospect, but it just felt too nice to mess up. Even though I never got to actually train, I did learn a lot more about him which I think is a good thing.
My phone let out a notification and I checked to see what it was. I had asked Ura earlier to see if she wanted to come over a few hours before the sleep over to hang out and pack together. She'd just responded, saying she'd be over in a few minutes.
I flopped down on my bed and scrolled through a few of my other messages. Todoroki had given me his number a few days ago but we had only sent a few awkward texts so far. I had almost everyone in 1A's number now so I could text everyone anytime.
I heard the doorbell ring and I ran downstairs. I opened the door to see Ura standing there with her bags already packed. I immediately hugged her and then let her come inside. We headed up to my room and then sat on the bed.

"I'm so excited!" She exclaimed.
"Me too!" I said happily.
"I can't believe all the boys are gonna be there too. Have you ever had a sleepover with a boy before? I don't think I have. Oh but there's gonna be so many chances to get you two together." She said while giggling.
I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know what this plan you guys have cooked up is, but I really hope it's nothing too bad." I said.
"Oh don't worry. I'm sure you'll love it." She said.
I shook my head.
"Ok well we need to get you ready. This is not gonna work." She gestured at me.
I sighed.
"Ok, fine. Do what you have to, just don't burn the house down." I said.
She squealed and immediately got to work. She started going through all the clothes in my closet and making an absolute mess in my room.
"You're cleaning this up!" I told her.
She seemed to finally find something she was satisfied with and she tossed it on the bed. It looked like she had picked out a matching outfit using f/c as the main focus.
"Meh. Can't I just wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt?" The thought of actually being comfortable seemed extremely tempting.
"Please!" She begged.
I had a staring match with her that lasted about six minutes. Finally, I looked away.
"Fine. Whatever." I caved in.
"Yay!" She smiled.
I put the outfit on as she started putting all the other clothes back into the closet.
"How do I look?" I asked after it was on.
She turned and looked me up and down with excitement in her eyes.
"Omg there's no way Todoroki's not gonna wanna date you." She said.

"What?! That's not what we're aiming for!" I protested.
"Oh honey, yes it is." She said.
I sighed and shook my head. Ura grabbed a brush and started styling my hair.
"And...there!" She said as she admired her work.
I looked behind me in the mirror and saw she had done a h/s.
"And now for the makeup!"
I groaned as she started applying all the different products to my face.
"Just a bit there...and a smidge here...maybe a little more there...and we're done!" She smiled at me.
I looked in the mirror again. I barely looked like me. Well maybe me, but a lot weirder looking me.
"Yeah, no. This isn't going to work." I grumbled.
"It's not that bad. Y/N NO-" She began to convince me.
It seemed as if I'd interrupted her by simply wiping one of my eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"It looks like you have a black eye." She said.
I looked in a mirror and laughed.
"Yes, we're going like this." I laughed harder.
"But you look like you got into a fight!" She tried to protest.
"That's the point!" I argued.
"How about this, if you don't have to wear makeup, I mean wear it the right way, will you just let me take it all off so you don't look like a wreck?" She proposed a compromise.
"Fine." I sighed.
She took some makeup wipes and took it all off.
"Well that was a massive waste of time." I commented.
"Yeah, we'd better get going or else we might be late." She said.
I nodded.
"Let's go crash a sleepover!"
