《Rise of the Dark Council (Star Wars x Male Sith Reader)》Chapter 12: The Reemergence of Mortis

Y/N POV
I still don't know what happened. One minute, I was returning to my ship after that failed heist on a Mining Guild freighter, and the next, I find myself seemingly transported to some unfamiliar location.
Me and the two Black Sun commando droids landed the ship and disembarked. Upon exiting the ship, I looked around at the scenery in confusion. Wherever we had been transported to, it didn't resemble ANYTHING in the known galaxy.
Image of the ethereal realm:
"Where are we?" I asked myself, before turning to the two Commando Droids and saying to one of them "Head back inside the ship. See if you can get a communication back to the Revenged." One of the droids nodded saying "Yes sir." Before retreating back into my starfighter.
I pulled out my hologram communicator and attempted to get it to work. However regardless of what I tried, I wasn't getting a connection. That's when I heard a deep, echoed voice saying "Your communication devices won't work here."
I looked around until my eyes landed on a creature watching us from a short distance. Upon closer inspection, my eyes widened when I recognized the creature as the same one which had watched me from the shadows since as long as I can remember.
Upon noticing me watching it, the creature flew towards me and then, much to my surprise seemingly transformed right before my eyes to reveal a man. With a bald head and burning, glowing red eyes.
He stood before me with his arms folded and a grin spread across my face.
Image of the mysterious figure:
It was at this moment I noticed the sky itself turn darker as the man finally spoke. "I have waited a long time for this meeting. But it has come at last." The grin he wore, stretched even further across his face.

At this point both of the Commando Droids had exited the ship and now aimed their blasters at the man. I myself ignited both blades of my lightsaber and pointed one of them at him.
However he just scowled and said "We will have NO interruptions!" He raised his hand up and suddenly the Commando Droids began to be crushed by the Force until they were sparking. He released them and they fell to the ground, dead.
He then raised his other hand and my lightsaber shut off before going into his hand. He raised it upwards before analyzing my weapon, switching on both blades and smirking. "Your weapon I presume? You will not be needing it here."
He then switched it off and sent it back to me. I caught it before asking in a hostile, skeptical tone. "Who are you? Where am I?"
The man let out a laugh before saying "You are in the realm known as Mortis, you were brought here by me for a purpose you will learn later." I then asked a second time "Who are you then?"
This time, the man let out a fit of deranged laughter before saying "You really haven't figured it out yet?! I am the Son of Mortis! I am the one truly responsible for bringing you into this world!"
With this revelation, my eyes widened even more in shock. However, I actually was able to calm down before asking "If that's true, why only appear to me now?" At this point, my supposed 'father' who was known as the Son responded "Oh but I have. Especially in later years."
"What do you mean?" Was all I asked before he replied "Korriban, Zakuul, even Vjun. I have been watching you, somewhere in the darkness." Now my mind was racing until I picked something up.

"How were you on Zakuul? I don't recall seeing you, even in your alternate state." Again the Son just laughed before saying "Oh I was there. We even spoke, however you were in the under the illusion you were speaking to Valkorion, the once proud ruler of that planet."
As if I couldn't be any more shocked than I was now. To find, out I was talking to my, sort of father. I don't know if I should call him that since he only impregnated my mother through the Force. I would have to ask that another time.
The Son then suddenly said "Follow me, there is something I need to show you." He turned around and walked off as I was about to ask about my ship. However he cut me off saying "It won't be going anywhere. Mortis exists outside of the temporal plane. Now, follow me."
As he continued to walk off, I followed close behind.
After walking for ages, I was eventually lead to a gigantic hole in the ground, one which lead to a pit of lava. In an instant we were both stood on a small rock platform in the see of Lava as the Son continued.
"You may be wondering where we are and why I brought you here." I only nodded as he continued. "We currently stand in the Well of the Dark Side, which as the name suggests is an area that channels the Dark Side itself. It is here where you will train."
Image of the Well of the Dark side:
"Train?" Was what I asked. He turned to me. "Yes. As you well know, I myself am the physical embodiment of the Dark Side. You seem to have developed that power only on a smaller scale. Did you ever wonder why you were so much stronger with the Darkness than with the light? It is your fate."
I looked at him confused "What do you mean?" He chuckled faintly "You will train here, until I deem it fit for you to leave Mortis." I was confused as to why he was only choosing now to appear. However I agreed to his training regardless.
And to my surprise, if I hadn't agreed. Maybe I would have died when I was confronted by an adversary who far outclassed me.
Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. I'm sorry if it's a bit bad, I didn't know whether to use this idea now or wait till the third book I intend to do at some point. I figured it would make more sense now. Still I really hope you enjoyed and as always, thanks for reading.

The Heroic Tales of Silas Horne
In the year 1858, the system came to the world. It brought with it beings from fantasy and mythology the likes of which the world had never seen before. In the American frontier, a place already known for being a dog eat dog world the system gave bandits the capacity for untold violence, not to mention monsters and system loving fanatics hell-bent on the murder of the innocent. But are they truly so innocent? No one knows what the system is or why it came, they do know one thing though. That the world post system isn't a place for a hero. Luckily for the world, U.S Marshall Silas Horne is no such man. ----- AN: This story is a litRPG inspired by "Randidly Ghosthound" and "The New World" but after reading many such stories and finding them to be a tad samey I decided to write this in a new setting, the Wild West. Also, my release schedule is chaotic, expect at least one 1000 word chapter each day but probably like two more will also be released.
