Jadek stood and stared at Master Booda with the image from the holocron playing over and over in his mind. The image of his parents shuttle blowing up while in the sights of Master Booda's X-wing. "To protect me?" Questioned Jadek with pure hatred in his voice as he was face to face with the person who he had just found out killed his parents. He was furious. "And when you made the choice to kill my parents, two innocent people, was that to protect me? Or was that to make sure that the lies of the Jedi remained buried under their temple on Coruscant?". Booda reached for her lightsaber. "Tell me Master Booda. How did it feel taking innocent lives? Mine will not be taken so easily!" Roared Jadek as he charged at Booda igniting both lightsabers and leaping through the air. Booda ignited both ends of her double bladed lightsaber and raised it in defence as Jadek slammed both his sabres down onto Booda's in a flash of emerald and sapphire light. Booda, assisted by the force, pushed him back away from her and continued barraging him with blasts of force energy. But Jadek was equal to it as he resisted every single one and stood his ground. He then shielded himself in the force and charged at her as the blasts of force energy were no longer having any effect. He spun creating a whirlwind of green light but Booda matched every single one of his blows with apparent ease. SHe backflipped out of Jadek reach but as she did she kicked him under the chin and sent him reeling backwards. Then as he was dazed she threw her lightsaber at him but he rolled out of the way just in time. He then let out a barrage of force energy of his own knocking the lightsaber far from Booda's reach and knocking her to the ground chest first. He approacher her slowly. "Why? WHy did you kill my parents?" Asked Jadek.

"When you were born there was an unimaginable surge of energy in the force. You were destined to be a Jedi. Destined to be the best of us all."

"That was not your decision to make!" Roared Jadek back as he began to gain on her. "You are nothing but a coward and a murderer!" He shouted as he lifted his sabers as he went for the killing blow but as he had his weapons raised Booda poured all her energy into a final blast and hid Jadek on the chest and he soared backwards into the burial room, smashing through the sarcophagus and thumping against the statue of Naga Sadow. He was in pain. This might be it.

Booda walked slowly towards him and picked up his lightsabers. "Your hate has twisted you Jadek. The Jedi only ever wanted what's best for you. And this is how you repay us?" She said.

"No. You are only interested in protecting yourselves." Replied Jadek as he slowly got to his knees. "Are you to be the one who kills me then?"

Booda bolstered both of Jadek lightsabers and smiled. "I cant let you leave here. You are too dangerous to be left alive" she said.

"The gift. Use it" Said the booming voice although Jadek was pretty certain it was in his head "I will help you only this once".

Jadek chalked his remaining energy and vaulted over Booda and as he did her reached out with the force and Naga Sadows lightsaber flew towards him. As he caught it Booda had drawn Jadek lightsabers but they would not ignite. Jadek smiled at the terror in Booda's face that was glowing red from the crimson glow glaring off Jadek's new lightsaber. He lunged forwards pushing the lightsaber through her chest as she let out a gargled scream and dropped the two lightsabers she was holding. Jadek looked her dead in her eyes as the life started to fade from them and said "You will die a murdered". At that, he quickly pulled the lightsaber out then slashed at Booda, taking her head from her body and he watched as she fell in a lifeless lump to the cold floor. This is when every doubt in his mind about the hiolocron's truth was put to rest. He now knew the truth. He knew why he was called to Korriban but he still had a whirlwind of thoughts spinning in his head.

He was angry at the lies of the Jedi, angry that his parents were murdered and angry that the Jedi appeared to want him dead. Every thought in his head, every question, ended in one thing. Revenge. He would destroy the Jedi for what they had done in orchestrating the death of his parents for their own benefit. His next move was to go to Volik and get the mask of Darth Nihilus before the Jedi. He would then use it to avenge the death of his parents and bring an end to the New Jedi Order and the deceit that it has been built on.

He deactivated his newly acquired lightsaber and stepped out into The Valley of the Dark Lords getting ready to stand against the dark energy that was seemingly attacking him when he first entered it. To his surprise, however, the presence of dark energy was still clearly there but not hostile. Adel was relieved as he did not think that he had the mental strength at this moment in time to fight it off. He moved back under the cover of the rocks and made his way towards his A-wing. He needed to leave before the queens fleet arrived. He knew they were coming but he did not know when. As he neared his ship he sensed a presence. Two shock troopers were investigating his ship. Two troopers were no match for a Jedi but he needed to make sure that they didn't have enough time to call for back up.

Jadek reached out through the force and slammed one shock trooper against the other as he leapt off the rocks above, ignited his lightsaber, and landed with the blade piercing the gut of one of one of the troopers. He wasn't quick enough as the other trooper was calling for back up into his communicator. As quick as he could Jadek threw his lightsaber and in a flash of crimson light the shock trooper fell to the ground as the saber cut him down and returned to Jadek. "I need to leave, now" Jadek thought as he turned off the lightsaber and jumped into his ship. He initiated take off. he had enough fuel to get to Volik but he would need either another ship or to have his fuel replenished once he got there.

The droid initiated shields as it detected laser fire coming from behind. Multiple laser blasts hit against the A-wing as it was taking off and two interceptor class ships flew overhead. He had to get out of Korriban's atmosphere before he could jump to light speed. He couldn't risk doing that while being tailed by two interceptors. Jadek took off as the interceptors turned to fly towards him. He took the a-wing night into the air and fired the boosters. He was a great pilot and knew how to use every available resource as an aid. He then made the A-wing take a nose dive and kept it skimming the ground. He turned his deflector shields to the rear as the interceptors opened fire once more. He flew over a cliff edge and took the ship down into a dangerously rocky canyon. the canyon was wide enough to outmanoeuvre the laser fire. He seen a narrowing up ahead wide enough for only one small ship. He continued towards it and as he closed in he fired a proton torpedo at the rocks above. A lot of heavy debris began to fall but Jadek made it into the narrowing just in time. One of the interceptors on his trail was not so lucky as the falling rocks smashed the ship into a mechanical mess and sent it flying to the canyon floor in a burning ball. The second interceptor pulled out of the canyon in time. It began raining down laser fire from above. Jadek was in trouble as there was no room to dodge the lasers. The droid beeped to inform him that the rear shields were at fifty percent. Jadek knew his only option was to pull out of the canyon but this would leave him open to attack. He was right. As he lifted into the air he was pummelled by laser fire and his rear shields failed. ne more hit and he was done. But he had an idea. He slowed the ship down and his droid beeped in a panic as the interceptor locked onto the A-wing with a missile. He focussed in on the force and detected that the enemy pilot was about to hit the firing trigger on the missile but as he did Jadek used the force to jam shut the missile launch chamber causing the missile to explode as it attempted to leave the barrel. Behind him Jadek could see the burning carcass of the ship falling out of the sky. "That was close. Set a course for Volik, no questions! We cannot take another hit especially from a cruiser. I need you to jump to hyperspace as soon as we break atmosphere or those cruisers will have us" commanded Jadek. The droid beeped in acknowledgement as Jadek pulled the ship into the air. As soon as they broke Korriban's atmosphere the cruisers came into sight and the second they did his droid sent the ship into hyperspace.

It was only a small trip to Volik but it completely depleted their fuel reserves. The controls on the ship began to beep to make him aware of this as they left light speed and entered Volik's atmosphere. There wasn't an awful lot that could be seen through the dense green forests and the droid wasn't picking anything up on its scanners. jadek was finding it difficult to pick anything up in the force. He could feel something but did not know what it was. He continued to look for a place to land but then the droid beeped as something had locked onto their ship. It was an ion cannon! As it hit the ship it completely fried the droid and blew all controls on the ship. The ship began falling at speed to the ground and jadek braced for impact and surrounded him self in force energy as the ship hit the ground. Then everything went dark.
