Vader flew upwards, activating the autopilot function. While the rest kept their eyes on the Ace Ops.
Eventually, they cleared the side of Atlas, flying up towards the city.
Ruby: Whoa... It's beautiful up here!
Everybody rushed to the side, seeing the beautifully looking city.
Weiss: Don't let that fool you.
Vader continued piloting until they reached a platform where he set it down slowly.
Qrow: Huh... Atlas Academy.
Vader moved towards the restrained Ace Ops, who all tensed at his presence.
Vader: Stand.
The Ace Ops hesitantly stood, not knowing what Vader was going to do.
They heard a noise, then found their restraints removed. They rubbed their wrists out of confusion.
Vader: I apologize if that was uncomfortable, I could not have you fighting us during the flight. Now...
Vader gestured to the now opened bullhead door.
Vader: Bring us to Ironwood.
The Ace Ops slowly walked out, Vader following behind with the rest of the group.
They strode towards the entrance, Clover opened the door with his clearance and they walked inside.
They walked past several guards, Vader sensing their uneasiness in the force. Vader paid them no attention as they reached an elevator.
As they entered the elevator, it was large enough to fit all of them, thankfully. Vader leaned closer to Ruby, asking her a question.
Vader: Do you still have the relic?
Ruby: Yep.
Vader: Good...
The elevator opened, showing Ironwood and Winter speaking with each other.
Ironwood: I swear if I have to sit through one more of those council meetings...
Ironwood stopped speaking, seeing the Ace Ops enter the room.
Ironwood: Ah, good. You've brought them.
Clover: Sir? You said to bring them in, and we failed that mission.
Ironwood questioned this, but once seeing Vader standing behind them, he understood immediately.
Ironwood: Ah, I guess I wasn't specific about the orders. I just wanted you to bring them in, not arrest them.
The Ace Ops was slightly embarrassed for their mistake, Vader's group relaxed slightly at Ironwood's statement.
Ironwood: Now, if you'll please exit, I will have your next mission sent to you shortly.
The Ace Ops all saluted, and then exited behind them. Leaving Winter, Ironwood, and the rest of Vader's group within.
Ironwood: I apologize for the rough introduction, we got word of a stolen bullhead and sent them to investigate. I assumed it was you, but couldn't take any chances.
Winter: (to Weiss) How could you steal bullhead? Do you know how dangerous that could have been?!
Weiss: We-Uh... well...
Vader: We did not have a choice in the matter.
Ironwood: I got your letter Qrow, I didn't expect you to get here this late though. But now that you're here, I can guarantee that the relic of knowledge will be kept in a safe place.

Qrow: Yeah, about that... there's been a slight change of plans.
Ironwood raised an eyebrow at this, clearly surprised.
Ironwood: Do tell?
As Qrow and Vader spoke about The Being, and who he was. Ironwood and Winter became slowly more surprised.
Ironwood: You're telling me... that there is a third god in this world, that never left and now wants to work with us? Do you have any proof of this?
Vader: The Being brought me here, along with these three. (Din, Ahsoka, and Maul step up) If that is not enough proof for you, Pyrrha, please step up.
Both Ironwood and Winter's jaw dropped. Standing in front of them was Pyrrha Nikos.
Ironwood: She died at Beacon though, right?
Vader: That is correct. The Being brought her back to life.
Ironwood: Interesting...
Ironwood moved closer to examine her, Vader quickly pulled her aside before he could get any closer.
Vader: I will not allow you to experiment on her.
Ironwood: I... alright... I am willing to put the past behind us, if you are willing to do the same?
Ironwood held out his hand towards Vader, who accepted the handshake.
Penny: This is great! It'll be just like Beacon!
Din: *whispering* In what way?
Slice, Slice, Slice.
Cut the inferior Grimm down, please leader. Leader will please mistress. Swords won't grow dull, they can't.
Slice, slice, slice.
Stupid wolves, not knowing when to retreat. Get sliced in response. Bear's smarter... no, not smarter, larger. Tried using strength to pin Slicer, you can't pin Slicer.
Slice, slice, slice.
Bear turns to smoke, Slicer looks at Leader with his boom stick. Exploding inferior Grimm from a distance. Leader bested Slicer, Slicer now follows Leader.
Slice, slice, slice.
More Grimm drop uses speed for advantage. Inferior Grimm slow. Friend Lancer understands, Friend Tank not fast but strong. Shield fires red.
Red turns more Grimm to smoke. red... reminds Slicer of Maul. Growls in anger, red man with strange sword stupid... no, not stupid. Stupid would have died, smart and fast, like Slicer.
Slice, slice, slice.
Redman killed Slicer. Slicer was supposed to live, supposed to be fast... supposed to be strong. Unleashes rage on Grimm. Ape Grimm smarter, throws other Grimm at Knights.
Leader calls out plan, Knights listen and nod in response. Slicer and Lancer run forward, use speed to distract and attack. Slice legs off, ape falls forward. Leader shoots head, stunning ape. Tank uses red shield, blasting through the chest. Ape falls over dead.
Stupid ape.
Mistress lost faith in us after fight at school. Saw us as weak. Leader proving Mistress that is untrue, Knights of Grimm strong.
Slicer notices Grimm numbers are thinning, good. Job is done.
Time passes as Knights line up in front of Mistress. Slicer intimidated by Mistress

Salem: You have proven yourself worthy, earning your spot alongside me, as we strive towards a new world. Come... we have work to do.
Mistress floated forward, Leader following close behind her. Rest of friends and Slicer followed behind, why are we not going to castle?
Oh... very big Grimm...
A Day later.
Pyrrha sat on the bunk of their Atlas room, rubbing her tiara in her hands.
She was alive again, Penny was alive again. She was only brought back because The Being took pity on her, while Penny was simply rebuilt.
Pyrrha still regretted what happened at Amity, how she tore the poor girl to pieces.
The Being: Don't.
Pyrrha: W-What?
The Being had appeared within their dorm, sitting on the extra chair they had.
The Being: Don't be ashamed of what happened at Amity it was not your fault.
Pyrrha: B-But I!
The Being: You were being affected by Emerald Sustrai's illusions. She made you see all those swords, making you use your semblance.
Pyrrha was silent, absorbing what the god had told her. She did feel slightly at ease with a god telling her the truth.
At that moment Nora walked in, having chosen her new outfit.
Nora: Hey Pyrrha! What do you think?
Pyrrha turned to Nora, smiling.
Pyrrha: It looks great, Nora. I hope Ren likes it!
Pyrrha said with a slightly devious smile, Nora blushing in response.
Nora: W-Well, I sure hope so. By the way, who were you talking to? I don't see Jaune.
The Being: Me.
The god said, revealing himself to Nora who lept out of suprise.
Nora: Oh, phew. Sorry, I didn't know... By the way, you're a god, right?
The Being: That is correct.
Nora: What are you the god of?
The Being: Existence, I can do anything and everything.
Both Pyrrha and Nora were silent, Nora only whispering slightly out of response.
Nora: Guess that's a capital G then.
Nora: Well, Pyrrha. Enjoy your conversation with the ethereal being! Have you chosen your outfit yet?
Pyrrha: Yes I have, I'm just waiting for Jaune to get out.
Nora: Okay! We'll see you when you're done!
Nora walked out of the dorm, a few moments later Jaune walked out of the bathroom. Having just taken a shower.
Jaune: Hm? Oh-Hey Pyr.
Jaune was wearing his improved armor, she was proud of him merging their armor together. Thankfully when she was reincarnated, The Being gave her armor back, along with her weapons. His hair had been cut earlier. Pyrrha didn't like it at first, but she thought it suited him better now.
Pyrrha: Hello Jaune.
Jaune knew his partner well enough to know when something was wrong, taking a seat next to her, he asked her.
Jaune: Are you alright?
Pyrrha: I'm... This is just very overwhelming, I was dead yesterday. My body couldn't interact with physical objects. And the reason I was brought back? A God took pity on me? I... it's just hard to believe.
Jaune was silent for a moment, before bringing Pyrrha in for a hug. She was surprised for a moment, before melting into it.
Jaune: I don't know why or how your back, just that we're all glad you are. And that's all that matters.
Pyrrha stayed silent, her eyes widening. Tears began forming as she buried her face into his shoulder.
Pyrrha: ...Thank you.
Jaune: Isn't that what partners are for?
Pyrrha stayed silent, smiling slightly. She moved off his shoulder, grabbing his face and bringing it close to hers.
Jaune closed his eyes as their lips locked, it felt so nice to be close to Pyrrha again. The kiss reminded him of their first one in Vader's classroom, and thankfully not the one at the fall of Beacon.
Eventually, they parted for air, both staring lovingly at their eyes.
They were going to resume when they heard a knock on the door, in bursting Nora and Ren.
Nora: Alright! What's taking so long -J! Oh, whoops.
Nora sheepishly stated, seeing their teammates holding each other.
Ren: Come on Nora.
Ren understood immediately and grabbed his partner's arm, dragging a blushing Nora out of the room. Once they were out, Pyrrha turned back to her boyfriend.
Pyrrha: They're right, it has been a while. I should probably get changed.
Jaune: R-Right! right...
Jaune's face reddened as Pyrrha entered the bathroom, imagining watching his girlfriend change.
Pyrrha entered the bathroom and stared at the mirror for a moment, coming to a realization.
She didn't have a new outfit.
As she began debating to go buy one or not, her eyes drifted to a newly made outfit. One placed by The Being. She smiled, needing to thank the god again later.
As Pyrrha stepped out of the bathroom, Jaune's mouth slid open.
She wore a golden breastplate that exposed her stomach slightly, on her left shoulder she wore a shoulder pad, her leg armor had improved as well, with one stretching up to the top of her calf. Around her waist, she wore red cloth around her waist mimicking Jaune's. Instead of keeping her hair in a ponytail like she usually did, she had it drapped down her shoulder.
Pyrrha: Well? Do you like it?
Jaune snapped out of his trance to respond.
Jaune: Yeah, you look amazing Pyr.
Pyrrha blushed slightly at the compliment.
Pyrrha: Thank you Jaune, let's not keep our friends waiting, shall we?
Pyrrha opened the door and walked out, being followed closely behind by Jaune.

Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope
