Jinn: Salem was forced to live in a lonely tower... guarded by treacherous forces.

The mist changed shape again to show suits of armor having red energy stored within.

Jinn: But one day...

The mist changed shape again to reveal a warrior carrying a green staff with a green crystal atop of it. The students thought he looked a lot like Ozpin, he strode forward with a confident look on his face.

Jinn: A great warrior that only fought for righteousness, and was courageous and pure of heart, appeared. The warrior's name was Ozma.

Jinn: One day, Ozma set out on a quest to save the lone woman. Who was continued to be locked in that lone tower, many people had tried before and failed.

Maul looked around noticing the smoking armor and discarded weapons.

Jinn: Ozma rescued Salem, and fought their way through the castle until reaching its outer borders. After the two escaped together, they fell in love and planned to spend the rest of their lives with each other traveling the world and going on adventurers.

Qrow continued to stare at the two as they walked towards a village, following close behind.

Jinn: However, the great warrior Ozma fell ill, all the monsters and all the beats he had beaten. Ozma was defeated by sickness and soon passed away.

Ruby covered her mouth in shock as the image showed a crying Salem over a dead Ozma.

Jinn: Heartbroken and angry, Salem traveled to the Domain of Light where the God of Light dwelled. There, she pleaded with him to resurrect her love... but he refused.

The image showed a bright figure with antlers floating over a kneeling Salem.

Jinn: Desperate for help, she then traveled to the lair of the God of Darkness, explaining her plight and taking care not to mention her visit with his elder brother. Pleased with her apparent loyalty, the God of Darkness rewarded her by bringing Ozma back from the dead, who responded to his sudden resurrection with great distress and confusion.

Jinn: However, at that moment, the God of Light intervened and returned Ozma to the afterlife to preserve balance, only for his brother to revive him again.

Jinn: Salem had turned the Gods against each other, and as such the God of Darkness destroyed Ozma once more as punishment.

Maul felt sympathy as he stood over a weeping Salem who was then turned immortal as punishment from the God of Light.

Jinn: As Salem led the people of the world against the Gods, Ozma rested in the afterlife. After the Gods destroyed humanity. Another God appeared, this one much older than the two brothers and far wiser.

Maul stared in question at a man that looked like to be made of the Cosmos itself. The God was surprisingly well dressed.

Jinn: The Being... The god of existence... had taken interest in the planet abandoned by the two brothers. Seeing the potential of the forgotten planet, The Being dispersed the Grimm, which had easily taken residence in Humanity's ruins.

The Maul watched as The Being snapped his fingers, the Grimm turning to dust. Before summoning a cube with his hand. Both Oscar and Ozpin stared at God, neither of them aware of his existence until now.

Jinn: The Being kept his presence hidden from the two brothers, this planet was his now and he would defend it... With the Grimm retreated back to their pools, humanity was allowed to begin to regrow, he made the Faunus, a mix between animals and humanity out of the memory of his beloved pet passing.

The mist changed to an image of The Being kneeling next to a dog. The dog was blue and seemed to be made out of a Nebula as well. He shouted in rage a blue shockwave surrounding the planet, giving birth to the new species. Blake covering her mouth out of shock.

Jinn: After all of this, however, the God of Light offered Ozma the chance to return to the land of the living to act as a guide and protector for the new humans, not knowing The Being was already present.

Jinn: He also charged Ozma with protecting the newly-created Relics, powerful artifacts that once united would summon the Gods back to Remnant to judge humanity.

Maul watched as the God of Light explained that if they found humanity worthy, they would return to Remnant and walk among them again. If they did not find them worthy they would destroy Remnant and everyone on it. The God of Light also explained that until Ozma's task was complete he would reincarnate by joining his soul with that of another like-minded individual to ensure he would never be alone.

Jinn: Ozma accepted and returned to the world in a new reincarnation.

Jinn: Unknowing to him, The Being watched over them. He had created the two brothers himself as an experiment. And was still intrigued by how it would end. He allowed Ozma to return to the planet, observing his creations, creation.

Jinn: Upon his return, Ozma took over a man in the midst of a Grimm attack. The man was confused and lost but with Ozma's knowledge, he was able to defend himself. Afterward, Ozma traveled and was met with an unfamiliar world.

Jinn: Cities were different, a race known as Faunus shared the planet with Humanity, and was heavily discriminated against. And Magic was nothing more than a Myth, The Being having erased that and replaced it with Aura and Semblances.

Jinn: After hearing talk of a "Witch", Ozma traveled to a secluded cottage where he found and reunited with Salem.

The group all watched the two relics of a past humanity recollect and smiled at their emotional gathering.

Jinn: The two reconnected, though Ozma kept his deal with the God of Light and the existence of the Relics a secret. Salem convinced Ozma that as the only two magic-wielders left, they could act as gods and could create a paradise the Gods never could.

Jinn: Together, they used their abilities to unite Humanity, created a prosperous Kingdom, and started a family, all the while not knowing about The Being's existence as he watched from afar.

Salem: As Salem's methods became more brutal and her disdain for the new Humans became apparent, Ozma began to show doubts. After discovering their daughters were capable of wielding magic, Ozma revealed his secrets to Salem, who stated that instead of trying to reunite humanity, they should instead replace them with their own magical line. Ozma, realizing his wife was no longer the woman he fell in love with, attempted to escape with their daughters in the night, but was caught by Salem.

Jinn: The two fought a ferocious battle, destroying their home and thinking that she claimed the lives of their daughters in the process. Little did the two know that The Being had saved them during the fight whilst the two magic-wielders were distracted. One of the children would grow up to become the ancestor of the Arc lineage.

Salem flipped Ozma on his stomach after he tried crawling to safety and stomped a foot on his chest. She condemned him for choosing his promise to the Gods over their family and burned him alive. Thus the millennia-long feud between the two began.

The Mist retreated to reveal the group standing in the same positions that they were in before. The group absorbing the information, Ozpin fell to his knees. Qrow growled before punching him across the face.

Qrow: All of this?! For what?! I abandoned my family for you! You gave me purpose! You told me I was doing something right!

Ozpin: Y-You were!

Qrow: Against who?! Your immortal ex-wife?! What the hell can we do?!

He reared back to punch him again but his arms were grabbed by Maul.

Maul: While Ozpin may deserve that, Oscar does not.

Qrow: HE LIED TO US! TO GENERATIONS OF PEOPLE! AND NOTHING HAPPENED!

Ozpin: Y-you're right...I did...

Ozpin closed his eyes, a muffled flash was seen giving Oscar control again.

Ruby: Oscar... What happened?

Oscar: He's...He's gone!

Yang: What?! That bastard left us?!

Oscar: He's retreated deep inside my head, he's refusing to come back out.

Weiss: What are we going to do?

Blake was silent she had fallen to her knees. She was the only living Faunus that truly knew their kinds creation, the information of Salem being Immortal was incredibly good at killing moral.

Maria: Enough!

The group turned to the old lady, who had remained silent until now.

Maria: If you haven't noticed the sun is beginning to set! (points to the sky with her cane) I don't know about you but I don't want to get caught in the cold... Personally, I'm still trying to process that this is Humanity's second time around.

Yang: What do you think we should do Nana?

Maria: There is a trail, trails usually lead somewhere, that is a good place as any to start.

Maria said beginning to walk again, the party looked at her stunned before gathering their supplies. Ruby handing Oscar Ozpins cane.

Oscar: I'm just going to be another one of his lives aren't I?

Ruby: Of course not! You're your own person.

Qrow: Don't lie to him Ruby...(takes a swig from his flask) we're better than that.

Oscar: Maul?

Maul: I do not know... But I'll be by your side the entire way.

Maul said placing his shoulder on Oscar's shoulder. Earning a smile from Oscar as they followed the group.

Yang pushed Bumblebee through the snow, Maria sitting on the seat. Maul walked next to Oscar, he occasionally stared at Ozpin's cane with sadness in his eyes.

Oscar: Maul... I haven't found the proper time to thank you.

Maul: For what?

Oscar: For...freeing me from my servitude to Jack, for introducing me to an entirely new world I didn't even know existed. For training me to fight, I would be dead without you?

Maul: It is my pleasure, when I first saw you the force connected me to you for some reason, giving me the mission of protecting you. And I aim to do that until I am unable to do so anymore.

The group continued walking in silence until they came across a gate.

Ruby: Hey! A town!

The group looked ahead a Ruby ran forward, sliding the snow off the gate. Maul walked ahead, holding his hands behind his back.

Maul: Let us see if they will give us shelter.

Maul and Qrow held the gate open as Yang pushed Bumblebee through, the rest of the group following after.

Ruby knocked on a door, she waited for a few minutes before knocking again, she looked back at the group with obvious confusion on her face.

Maul stepped up and extended his hand to unlock the door only to furrow his brow with concern.

Maul: The door is unlocked...

Maul grabbed his saber and nodded to Ruby, she slowly opened the door and they peered inside, seeing nothing concerning. The group slowly walking in after them.

Ruby: Helllooo? Anybody home?

Qrow: Let's take a breather for a second.

Weiss: Ruby, let's go look upstairs.

Ruby nodded and followed her teammate up the steps, as they entered the room Maul sat down next to Oscar. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back.

Maul's eyes shot open when he heard a scream coming from upstairs, grabbing his saber he jumped up the steps with a combination of his legs and the force.

Maul bashed through the door lightsaber in hand. His eyes widening at the sight before him.

Ruby and Weiss were huddled in the corner, on the bed were two corpses, that looked like they had been there a long time.

Qrow quickly ran up behind him, gasping and covering his mouth with his hands.

Qrow: Girls... You should go downstairs.

The two nodded and hurried downstairs to tell their teammates what happened, while Qrow and Maul stayed in the room.

Qrow: These guys have been here a long time.

Maul: I severely doubt it, if they had we would have smelled them when we walked inside.

Maul crouched next to one of the corpses, examining inside its mouth and flesh Qrow gagging and covering his mouth.

Qrow: How can you handle this?

Maul: I have seen far worse, Qrow... I suspect these people didn't die of natural causes. They aren't showing any signs of decomposition.

Qrow: When did you become an expert on Corpses?

Maul simply glared at him before walking out the door, Qrow followed behind closing the door behind him.

Blake: Is it true? Are there...?

Maul: Unfortunatly, yes... Let's only stay here one night shall we?

Maul said trying to lift their spirits slightly, they sighed and Weiss started a fire in the fireplace. Ruby removed the Lamp from her waist and placed it on the table sighing and grabbing her knee's in a hug.

Yang: You ok sis?

Yang said sitting down next to her, she draped an arm over her sister as they continued to stare at the Lamp.

Ruby: I don't know... I -

Ruby was cut off as the Lamp started glowing again, It grew in size and floated into the air, making everyone gasp in surprise as the mist began rolling out again.

Jinn: Ah...summoned again! This is unusual...

Ruby: B-But we... we didn't summon you!

Jinn: No?... Then who -

Jinn looked over Ruby in surprise, obvious shock on her face. Ruby looked behind her but saw no one there.

Jinn: o-of course! I-I'll do it now!

Ruby: Who are you talking to?

Jinn: You are in luck children... I will continue the story without costing another question.

Jinn said obviously ignoring Ruby.

Ruby: What are you showing us?

Jinn: Why, the origins of Vader of course!

Jinn: A long time ago... In a galaxy far, far away.

Jinn: A young boy was born on the planet of Tatooine.

The people that were born on Remnant gasped when they realized they were in space, and looking at another planet. While Maul recognized the planet all too well.

Jinn: The Being decided he wanted to end the conflict between the two ancient people. While he could do it easily, he thought it would be boring and decided to find warriors to put into the world.

Jinn: His first choice was Vader, previously known as Darth Vader, and before that Anakin Skywalker.

The group gasped in shock as Vader appeared before them in his current armor, his appearance then shited to when he was Darth, he removed his helmet making everyone gasp in shock. Then he de-aged even farther to Anakin Skywalker in his Jedi robes.

Jinn: Anakin was that boy born on Tatooine, but he wasn't born in normal ways. His life force was created by a powerful force user manipulating midi-chlorians to create life...

Jinn: Anakin was born into slavery, where he lived constantly dreaming of winning a pod-race and buying his and his mother's freedom.

The mist shifted to reveal a Naboo starship, in all its silver glory. Flying to escape the trade federation.

Jinn: His wish came true in the form of a Jedi master named Qui-gon Jin. Once he and his padawan landed the ship on Tatooine, they set out to find replacement parts.

Jinn: Once Qui-Gon and Anakin crossed paths, he inspired the young boy to win the pod race. Sensing the force within him, he decided to take the young boy with him to be trained as a Jedi.

Jinn: Qui-gon never got to fulfill his intent and died later while dueling a sith.

The mist shifted to show Qui-gon having his lightsaber drawn at a hooded figure, he removed his hood to the shock of Team RWBY to reveal a younger Maul.

Jinn: With his master dead, his apprentice Obi-wan was given a last request from his dying master... to train Anakin as his own apprentice.

Jinn: Obi-wan, only recently becoming a Jedi knight did take Anakin under his wing and the two became brothers, both great Jedi with great intents.

Jinn: Later on, after Anakin got married to his wife Padme, which was forbidden by the Jedi Order. The clone wars began, the republic had millions of clones as their forces while the separatists had their battle droids.

Jinn: Anakin was promoted to Jedi knight, became a general over his own division of clones, and became a teacher for his own padawan... in the span of one month.

Ruby watched the mist as it made a mechanical door, it sliding open to reveal a much younger Ahsoka Tano. The mist showed the many battles Ahsoka and Anakin fought in, Ahsoka growing older along with Anakin. Ruby understanding how Ahsoka became considered Anakin's sister.

Jinn: However, nothing good can last forever... One day when the two were investigating a bombing in the Jedi temple, events led to Ahsoka being framed as the bomber and a murderer.

Yang watched as Ahsoka ran through the halls using her green and yellow sabers to deflect stun bolts from attacking clones, Anakin giving chase as well.

Jinn: Even though Ahsoka was being framed, she decided to find the actual culprit herself. Her endeavors led to her becoming allies with an old enemy and making enemies with an old friend.

Jinn: In the end, Ahsoka was proven innocent, and was invited to join the order again instead of gleefully reclaiming her spot, and being promoted to Jedi Knight... Ahsoka left the Jedi Order. This decision stemmed from how the Jedi Council handled the situation. Knowing that it was easy for them to turn on her, despite her proven commitment, she became disillusioned and opted to walk away from an Order she didn't fully believe in.

Blake watched with tears in her eyes as Ahsoka walked down the steps of the only home she had ever known, turning to look back at Anakin.

Jinn: This was the beginning of the end of Anakin Skywalker.

Jinn: During the clone wars, other powerful people began to re-awaken.

The mist formed a tunnel made of scrap metal, in a cave they saw a malnourished man huddled by a fire, they gasped in surprise when the man turned to face them seeing an insane Darth Maul.

Jinn: Maul rose to power again in the criminal underworld, eventually becoming the ruler of Mandalore along with his brother. His power became great until his old master came to face him.

The group watched in horror, Maul feeling incredibly afraid at the sight of his old master. The group could feel the fear terminating as he effortlessly killed the two Mandalorian guards.

The mist shifted to reveal Palpatine easily dueling Maul and his brother Savage Oppress. With the eventual death of Savage.

Jinn: With the clone wars coming to a close, Anakin and Ahsoka were reunited once again, but only for a very short period.

The mist formed a slightly older Ahsoka and Anakin standing together, Anakin giving her a box. She opened it and smiled, she ignited the two blades seeing blue instead of green and yellow.

Jinn: With the end of the clone wars, Anakin learned that his wife was pregnant with twins, he had never felt happier before, but was called away again on a mission.

Jinn: Anakin figured out his good friend the Chancellor was actually Dart Sidious, several other Jedi tried to arrest him, only for them all to be killed except for one. Mace Windu would have killed the sith lord that day if Anakin hadn't intervened.

The mist shows Anakin slicing off Mace's hand and Palpatine shooting lightning at him launching him through the window.

Jinn: Anakin dueled with his former master, his great friend, his brother Obi-wan. Anakin lost the duel and got severely burned as a result.

The mist showed a burned Darth Vader, floating in a bacta tank.

Jinn: He was no longer Anakin... he was Darth Vader.

Ruby looked at Vader's face and peeped in surprise when he opened them to reveal his haunting yellow eyes.
