As Yang was cut off, several Grimm charged from the tree line, Vader threw his lightsaber, stabbing inside the head of one beowolf. Using the force, it flew out of the head and decapitated two Ursa's. Pulling the lightsaber back towards him, he spoke to the family.

Vader: Grab your weapons... There are more.

This is my fault, Vader thought cutting down another Ursa. When I was thinking about Obi-wan, explodes another beowolf. Ahsoka, decapitated three with one swipe. Padme...

The grim roared with renewed strength, Vader was feeding them a feast with all of the negative emotions he was emitting. With incredible confidence the Grimm charged, Vader concentrated on his rage and let loose a stream of lightning, zapping from one Grimm to another, disintegrating each and every one.

Vader heard a roar. He was seething with rage... These creatures decide to prey on him when they thought he was at his weakest? Fools.

Vader: FOOLS! I've never been stronger!

A king taijitu appeared before Vader, hissing. It let out a roar and charged. Vader returned the roar and lept to face the Grimm.

Ruby and her family emerged ready to fight. They smelled the Grimm disintegrating, shooting another beowolf she saw Vader leap to engage the king taijitu.

Ruby: Vader!!

Vader held his lightsaber in a stabbing position, Ruby watched as the Grimm opened its mouth, swallowing Vader whole, his crimson blade disappearing.

Qrow: No...

He turned with his weapon in scythe form and stabbed a boarbatusk in the head.

As the family fought off the surrounding Grimm, Taiyang spoke.

Taiyang: This is nuts! There are so many!

The king taitju began moving only to feel pain. A red blade began slicing down its belly cutting the grim open. When the blade reached the Grimms stomach, it rumbled before exploding sending Grimm liquid everywhere.

Vader stood in the crater created by his force explosion, the Grimm froze to look at the force user. With his rage growing every passing minute, Vader reached out with the force and gripped each Grimm in the area. Each Grimm screeched in pain, their limbs slowly folding in on themselves. With one final squeeze, each one exploded.

Vader made his way back towards the family, his armor covered with Grimm guts. The family stood combat-ready but relaxed as they saw Vader approached them.

Vader: I apologize for my actions.

Qrow: why? You killed all the Grimm with a single attack, What are you apologizing for?

Vader: I was the reason they attacked. When I remembered my last it brought great sadness and pain, and with my force-sensitive powers essentially made a beacon for all Grimm in the area.

Ruby: well I think you redeemed yourself by destroying all the Grimm, does anyone disagree?

Nobody made a noise, satisfied Ruby went back inside Yang, and Qrow following behind her. Taiyang stayed outside to speak with Vader.

Taiyang: look... I know the pain of losing a loved one, probably better than most people. When Yang was born her mother left to join a bandit clan. I remarried Ruby's mom but she died on assignment. It still pains me to think about them.

Vader only stood there his mechanical breathing the only noise in the silent forest. He clenched his fist, Vader and Taiyang's emotions bringing out the final Grimm, a creep rushed out but was stabbed in the head with Vader's lightsaber. Vader continued to stab, and stab, and stab, his thoughts swirling with rage and sadness. Taiyang placed his hand on Vader's shoulder, stopping him.

Vader: Would you mind if I spent the night?

Taiyang: Of course not.

In the morning Vader got out of bed and went to put his armor on, he was going to accompany Ruby to Vale before parting ways, Qrow had gone ahead to notify Ozpin of his arrival.

Vader heard a knock on the door as he finished placing his helmet on, he opened it to find an excited Ruby bouncing up and down.

Ruby: Are you ready?!

Vader simply nodded, Ruby took him by the hand and rushed out the door.

Vader: How will we get to Vale? I see no vehicles around.

Ruby only chuckled and grabbed his hand, using her semblance they disappeared into a red and black blur. Within a few minutes, they were at the outskirts of Vale.

Ruby: So, I have a few chores to do while here. Like shop for groceries and other things.

Vader: Let me handle the grocery shopping, as a way of thanking your family.

Ruby smiled and handed him a list of items.

Ruby: Okay! well, I'll come to find you when I'm done! Bye!

Vader watched as Ruby zipped away, chuckling, Vader turned and began his walk to the farmers market. Thinking how similar Ruby and Luke were.

Velvet walked down the street happily, she had just finished constructing her newest weapon and was itching to test it out. Rounding the corner she began walking towards the farmers market to visit an old friend when she stopped.

Her ears perked u at the sound of breathing, It was the exact same one she heard when she and her team went to fight the goliaths. Mechanical and unnatural.

She quickly turned around, trying to pinpoint where the noise was coming from. Looking towards the direction of a market stand she saw him. Vader...

She watched him slowly turn to face him, he was holding a bag of something... Noticing she had been spotted, she bolted to go find her team.

Rounding the corner, Velvet crashed into a surprised Coco. She quickly fell over but was helped up by her team leader.

Coco: What's wrong Velvet?

Velvet: C-Coco! I saw the armored man! T-The one from the video!

Coco: Really? Well, let's go introduce ourselves...

Coco pulled out her scroll and called the rest of her team, telling them to meet at the farmers market. They had found Vader.

Making her way towards the farmer's market, Coco remembered what professor Ozpin had said to them beforehand.

Ozpin: If you run into this man again, avoid combat with him at all cost. He is dangerous and unpredictable, invite him to Beacon, for I would wish to speak with him.

Coco pressed on, not noticing Velvet falling behind. As she hurried to catch up with her leader, she felt a hand placed on her mouth. Trying to struggle, she was quickly overpowered by two other men dragging her into an alley.

She tried to scream for help but was quickly quieted by a man pulling out a knife. She cried out in shock but was quieted by the hand on her mouth.

Man: Turn her over.

Velvet tried to scream as she was turned over and felt the man grab onto her pants, He was stopped though when they heard mechanical breathing.

Vader stood at the end of the alley, it didn't take him long to figure out what was happening.

Man: Hey! Get lost pa - !

The man was cut off as Vader gripped him with the force lifting him off the ground. The two other two men stared in fear as the man began choking violently while trying to grab at whatever was lifting him.

Vader twisted his hand, the man's neck twisting in one direction. With a snap, Vader let go of the man and he fell to the ground.

Knifeman: You bastard!

He charged with the knife in hand, Vader easily sidestepped the attack and, calling on his lightsaber, activates it making it go straight through the man's body.

Vader sliced outwards, making the man fall over. Vader clipped the lightsaber to his belt, groceries still in hand. The final man chose to run, a wise decision, Vader thought.

Vader turned to face the trembling Faunus girl. He kneeled and extended his hand to her, feeling a ping of familiarity, as if he had seen her before.

Vader: Are you alri - ?

Coco: Hey! Asshole!

Vader turned to see the girl that had faced him when he killed the Goliath Grimm. But instead of holding a purse, She was holding an incredibly large mini gun.

Coco: Stay away from her!

Coco opened fire with her gun, Vader simply extended his hand, stopping the bullets mid-air before they could reach him.

Coco stared in shock before trying to fire again, only to find that she was out of ammo. Swearing she began the process of reloading, hearing all the stopped bullets land on the ground.

Yatsuhashi: Coco? Whats - ?

He and Fox walked into the entrance of the alleyway, Yatsuhashi saw Velvet on the ground, And Coco having her weapon pointed at Vader.

Drawing his weapon, Yatsuhasi charged Vader only to be thrown into the wall by an invisible force.

Fox: Wait?! What's happening?!

Fox got his answer when he heard Vader's mechanical breathing, and Yatsuhashi being thrown into a building.

Fox equipped his weapons and leaped at Vader to protect his team.

Vader didn't want to hurt these children. They were huntsmen in training, and obviously just wanted to protect their friend. Vader watched as the blind red-headed boy lept at him wanting to attack.

Extending his hand, Vader froze him mid-air.

Vader: Enough. This is all a misunderstanding, I found the girl about to be raped and saved her.

His mechanical voice rattling around inside the alley.

Coco: Velvet?

Velvet: I-It's true, he saved me.

With that, Vader slowly placed Fox back on the ground, who stumbled forward when being let go. Yatsuhashi stumbled forward, his elbow slightly bleeding. Vader extended his hand, and to the teams amazement, healed Yatsuhashi's wound.

Coco: Well, our headmaster wishes to speak with you. If you'll come with us - .

Vader: I have to return these groceries to their proper owner first. Then I will come with you.

With that being said, Vader turned and began walking through the crowd to find Ruby. Team CFVY stood there in shock after what just happened.

Fox: I honestly didn't SEE him acting like this.

The team all chuckled at Fox's joke before Coco spoke.

Coco: He does seem kind, but we shouldn't let that fool us. It may be a mask he's wearing to hide who he truly is.

The team all nodded at Coco's explanation and began discussing who he was as they waited for Vader to return.

Vader searched the crowd for the small, red-headed girl, with a red hood. Finding her, She turned around hearing Vader near.

Ruby: Oh! You got the groceries!

Vader: Yes, I gathered all the items on the list. I was invited to Beacon by some students, unfortunately, this means we must part ways.

Ruby: Aw man... Well, maybe when Yang gets to Beacon she'll see you!

Vader only nodded at this.

Vader: Goodbye, Ruby Rose.

Ruby: Bye...

Team CFVY was still debating what Vader was when he returned.

Coco: I bet he's a bounty hunter.

Fox: I say he's a huntsman. Did you see how he fought those Goliath Grimm's?

Yatsuhasi: He talks strangely... Do you think he's not from here?

Velvet's ears perked up when she heard mechanical breathing, turning, she smiled when she saw him.

Vader: I am ready to depart.

Ozpin watched as Glynda paced inside his office. Qrow stood next to him, Ironwood would be arriving shortly.

Glynda: I don't trust this mysterious man.

Qrow: I didn't either... But there is a human under that armor. I think we can trust him.

Qrow decided not to mention the fact that he was an alien, that wouldn't put Glynda's mind at ease.

Ozpin looked to his monitor, seeing the elevator was moving towards his office. Standing he grabbed his cane and turned to face the elevator, effectively quieting his two supporters.

The elevator dinged, and out stepped two people, General Ironwood and his supporter Winter Schnee.

Ironwood: a good thing that I'm not late, you three would've had trouble detaining him.

Ozpin: Our intent is not to arrest this man, he has done nothing wrong.

Ironwood: I have received information that he shot down two Atlas bullheads, that is enough information to make an arrest.

Ozpin: I wonder what his side of the story is.

Qrow: Uh, guys?

Qrow still stood behind the desk seeing that another elevator was rising to the office.

Ironwood: That man is a danger to remnant! (elevator dings, door open) We must detain him to ensure he isn't an agent of her!

Ironwood turned to face the opened elevator, his face paling at the sound of mechanical breathing.

Salem stood outside her castle on a balcony, observing the image of Vader with great interest. Feeling emotions for the mysterious man, that she had not felt in a long time.

She observed the actions of Vader that she had seen, combing over every detail available about this man.

Her attention was drawn to a nearby floating seer, transmitting a visual from a Grimm beetle she had placed on the window of Ozpin's office.

She watched through the Seer, lovingly caressing the Grimm when she could see Vader. The name sent chills down her spine.

Salem smiled the plan was going perfectly, Vader would be hers... It was only a matter of time.
