(Y/N): "Come on. Come on! Get up!"
I strengthened my grip on our ship, which had unfortunately landed in a lake on our way here thanks to a combination of mist and trajectory miscalculations. I gritted my teeth as the roof of the ship began to break through the water. Followed by almost half of the ship's structure, however. My strain took it's toll on me and I collapsed from exhaustion.
(Y/N): "It's impossible."
I said to myself. Feeling a frustrating urge to go into the forest and unleash my anger on a few unfortunate trees with my lightsaber.
Aleera: "It's only impossible because you have deemed it so."
She walked out from the forest shade behind me. I turned and smiled to her.
(Y/N): Oh, Aleera! How goes the firewood gathering?"
I smiled. She pulled out her lightsaber. Twirling it around.
Aleera: "The means to reach the end were quite simple, to say the least."
She smirked back.
Aleera: "How goes the fishing? Have you caught any ships yet?"
She joked. I scoffed back.
(Y/N): "It's more difficult than it looks. Unless the metal is harvested we won't be able to construct a roof worth a damn... Unless you wanna start a mining company here."
I joked back. Preparing myself to try again.
Aleera: "Need any help?"
She asked, leaning against a tree.
(Y/N): "I got this..."
I replied. Holding out my hand once more. Clenching my fist tight as I strained my connection to the Force, I could see the superstructure of the ship bubbling about as it began to show up more and more of it's drenched hull.
(Y/N): "See! Look... it's working!"
I smirked, but once again I stopped. Out of adrenaline, I felt my arm and rubbed it a little.
(Y/N): "Come on!"
I gritted my teeth. Kicking a nearby stone with my boot.

(Y/N): "Ow."
I shook my foot a little, muttering various curses.
Aleera: "Come on, can't a wife help her husband out once in a while?"
She suggestively questioned. I lowered my foot onto the ground.
(Y/N): "Okay, okay. Maybe I need help."
Aleera: "Excellent. Now let's-"
She paused. Zoning off. Her legs seemed to give way. She fell to a seating position on the ground.
Aleera: "No..."
She said, a look of disbelief in her eyes.
(Y/N): "Hey, what's wro-"
I stopped as well. I all of a sudden felt it too. Ripples through the force, nothing like I've ever felt before. Death. The Force senses death. Not just any death, demise on a massive scale. Thousands of Force-sensitive individuals
(Y/N): "What's happening?"
Aleera: "They're all dying!"
She yelled in horror. Jedi lives were quickly being snuffed out, one after the other. Even I have never felt anything like this before.
(Y/N): "That can't be? Who's killing them?"
Aleera: "I-I don't know..."
She replied hesitantly. I thought about it.
(Y/N): "Can't be the droids. Otherwise the war would have ended quicker. No, it has to be something unexpected. Something... no. Someone they trust. Some... people. Who they see as allies... who could only be..."
I deducted, Aleera nodded. Finishing what I had initially thought of.
Aleera: "The Clones. They're executing everyone..."
She looked at me, tears formed in her eyes.
Aleera: "Why? Why would they do this? I-I don't understand."
Suddenly she paused, taking a few moments to piece together something in her head..
Aleera: "This reminds me of the Chip incident."
She concluded.
(Y/N): "What?"
I asked.
Aleera: "Clones are bred normal humans with shortened growth rates. But they also have these, chips in their heads. I didn't believe it when I heard it because they were mere rumors circulating around the Temple, but this one Clone went all psychotic one time. Trying to kill the Chancellor, raving on about chips and a... conspiracy against the Jedi... he was killed by the Coruscant guard... who operate under the Chancellor... Oh no..."

That Sith I sensed in that bounty hunter's mind, the Sith Lord who I sensed my father Krassus bragging about rising victorious over in his head. The Sith Lord in total control over the Republic.
(Y/N): "Darth Sidious."
His name slipped off just like that. I said it without even thinking about it. Aleera looked at me, her tearful eyes now conveying confusion.
Aleera: "What? You knew?"
I looked at her, she rose to her feet. Disbelief written all over her expression.
Aleera: "You... knew about this."
I felt her hate rising...
(Y/N): "Hey, calm down Aleera."
Aleera: "Don't tell me to calm down!"
She yelled angrily. I reacted. Force-pulling her lightsabers off of her belt and tossing them into the forest while I backed off with both arms out.
(Y/N): "This isn't you, please just listen for a moment."
Aleera: "I'll listen alright!"
She growled, suddenly I felt something slipping off of my belt. My own lightsaber. She grabbed it with the Force and ignited it. Pointing it straight at me.
(Y/N): "Hey! Stop it!"
She only advanced towards me quicker. Her eyes conveyed sheer anger and determination. Determined for an answer.
Aleera: "Did you know about all this?! DID YOU!"
She outright yelled at me.
(Y/N): "If you just listen!-"
I began, before I was pushed against a tree. Aleera held my crimson blade against my neck.
Aleera: "Fine, I'll listen... once."
She said. Before I began speaking once more.
(Y/N): "The reason I was free back at the prison before you even got to me was because a bounty hunter who was hired by the Chancellor was trying to kill me. I searched his mind for what he knew, and I found out he was hired by Palpatine. Who's Sith name was Darth Sidious. That is all I know, I swear by my life."
Aleera: "And yet you never told me?"
She asked.
(Y/N): "I legitimately saw no reason to at the very moment!"
Aleera: "By your word the Jedi Order could've been saved!"
She cried out. Tears again flowing.
(Y/N): "Again. I. Am. Sorry! I didn't see this coming either... believe me."
I reasoned. Aleera's grim death stare still pierced my soul. Banter about turning to the Dark Side probably won't do well in my favour.
(Y/N): "Please... put the lightsaber down."
She let the tears stream down her cheek, as she dropped my lightsaber on the ground. Her legs gave out once more as the adrenaline left her. I knelt down beside her and placed my hand on her shoulder. After a while, she looked at me, her face was red with anguish.
Aleera: "They're in the Jedi Temple now. Everyone, is dying... The younglings are dead too."
My head hung down in shame, even more so as I heard that dreaded last line. They're Jedi... but they're just children.
(Y/N): "I know. I feel it too..."
After a while, the killings calmed down. Because there wasn't much left to kill, we both felt it through the Force.
Aleera: "Why is it, that so much evil rests in the Galaxy?"
She finally spoke out. I couldn't find an answer. I genuinely did not have one. Probably because I didn't want to pin on myself, the evil that she spoke of.
(Y/N): "...I don't know."
Aleera: "Can, I just have some time alone?"
She asked me, getting up and waking into the forest. My eyes watched as she just strode off.
(Y/N): "Where are you going?"
I asked.
Aleera: "Somewhere. I won't be far."
She walked off ever further. Leaving me standing on the lakeside, alone.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
