《Son of the Dark (Male Sith Reader X Female Jedi)》Chapter 14: Less Rigorous Training...

I looked in various rooms, corridors and hallways. But couldn't find anything related to an armoury. Just then, Aleera made her way in from the entrance, making it through the large hallway and into the throne room. Looking around, the charred bodies clearly cut by a lightsaber gave away my work to her.

Aleera: "Quite the mess you made."

She said. I tossed her lightsaber back to her.

(Y/N): "He would have never complied with us anyways."

Aleera: "You're so reckless (Y/N)."

She scolded playfully, almost shredding her usually calm Jedi persona. I scoffed in response.

(Y/N): "As if, my father was twice the Sith I'll ever be."

Aleera: "How so? Your power in the Force is extremely strong compared to mine. Almost on par with Master Windu... Almost."

(Y/N): "The only reason my father didn't teach me everything he knew. Is because of the Sith ideology, the strong overtake the weak. I'm young and ambitious, he was older than me, he wanted to keep his power to himself. Thus he felt the need to maintain his power and supremacy as the Master. That included some... rigorous endurance related training.

I said, pulling up my sleeve. Revealing burns from Force Lightning. Aleera seemed sorrowful, staring at my scars from a long distant past.

Aleera: "Is that how the Sith train? In paranoia and fear?"

(Y/N): "Yes. Because through pain, hatred and fear the Dark Side rises. Might I ask, how do Jedi train?"

I was legitimately curious as I asked Aleera, she leaned against the wall as I continued searching for the ammunitions stock.

Aleera: "Jedi train using the mind, deepening our attachment to the Force is considered the apex of all the teachings."

(Y/N): "That's interesting, you Jedi focus on the overall potential of the Force itself. Rather than purely on your physical skills."

Aleera: "The Force is much more than the raw power Sith make it out to be. It's not meant to attack people with."

(Y/N): "I won't argue with that Aleera. However we Sith aren't the only ones trying to use the Force as a special power."

I inquired. Aleera pouted as she leaned against a wall, brushing her flowing Jedi robes of accumulated dust from the fight.

Aleera: "Such arrogance."

She smirked confidently.

(Y/N): "Well aren't you're brave to point that out."

I sarcastically stated.

Aleera: "Jedi also train in courage, fear is somewhat of a bad thing for us."

She tilted her head, as I repeatedly banged my fist into the wall to see if there were any hollow spaces, where this secret supplies storage might be. Suddenly I felt a hand grip my wrist, I looked to see Aleera looking at me, raising her brow as she smiled.

Aleera: "Maybe if we switch to less aggressive Sith-like tactics. Then we might get somewhere."

I scoffed, showing her the wall.

(Y/N): "Be my guest Aleera."

She lifted her right arm and placed her palm onto the wall. Closing her eyes as she felt all across the surface of the structure. I leant against it as she then opened her eyes, igniting her green lightsaber, cutting a perfect circle and pulling out the wall itself. It led into a room full of weapons and munitions. She smiled at me triumphantly as I had a surprised look on my face.

Aleera: "Come on then."

We both walked into the room, I saw dozens of coaxium vats and blasters of many different kinds, used by both the Separatists and the Republic. My eyes landed on the coaxium, smiling as I picked some of it up.

Aleera: "Superfuel, you're planning to blow Dooku and Grievous out of the sky are you?"

(Y/N): "They attacked us while we weren't even ready for them, for that we strike back. Hard."

Aleera: "You can't strike back without an honest defence."

(Y/N): "Huh?"

I asked, confused for a moment.

Aleera: "I know about your inability for a good defence (Y/N) trust me... I fought against you. Your defensive form looks like a student's."

(Y/N): "I focused more on hard offensive, A good attack is the best defence in my opinion."

Aleera: "Opinions don't matter when you're up against a master swordsman like Dooku, or Grievous' deadly unorthodox ways. If we encounter them, you are going to need a good defence."

(Y/N): "At a time like this?"

I tried to reason, Aleera only held up her pointer finger. Silencing me.

Aleera: "A wise master once said, Only fools rush in."

She said in what I could only assume was a cryptic fashion. Saying no more as she ignited her green lightsaber.

Aleera: "Now... stay on the defence. Keep your Soresu form in check."

She held it at the ready, I shrugged. Grabbing my lightsaber and letting my crimson blade unleash itself. It's low hum contradicted her lightsaber's lighter sound as I tried to hold it in a defensive manner, she nodded and then attacked.

I blocked her first few slashes with relative ease, but then she made a sudden unexpected move and my black sabre-hilt was sent flying from my hand. Her green blade stopped a few mere inches from my neck, as the glow illuminated her calm collected stare. She was actually fast... very fast, perhaps when we both duelled with a killing intent back then she was a bit overconfident...

(Y/N): "I take it-"

Aleera: "-You need more training? Yes. I'd indeed be happy to help you."

She twirled her emerald blade, as she force-pulled my dropped weapon, as she caught it she ignited it and tossed it to me. I then again assumed my position, she held a hand behind her back, then saluted me with her blade.

Aleera: "Again..."

She said, a little more sternly, like a teacher would. Attacking once more, I concentrated as hard as I could, perceiving almost every single move she made, making only some minor mistakes in my form, assuming I had the upper hand, I suddenly had my lightsaber's position knocked out of form as I stumbled a bit onto my knee. Though my falter still had me at a loss, Aleera again held her sabre near my neck.

I grunted as I hammered my fist into the ground.

(Y/N): "Dammit! What am I doing wrong?"

I angrily yelled to myself.

Aleera: "Your form is good, your reactions are also refined. But what you lack the most is patience. A calm defence is an unbreakable one."

She said in a nurturing manner, de-activating her blade as she knelt down as well.

(Y/N): "But, being calm is not my nature..."

I unknowingly confessed, Aleera placed her hand on my shoulder.

Aleera: "It's alright, just relax yourself, it's an easy thing to do. A quick fight isn't always the way."

She consoled, I looked up at her. She nodded, determinism easily seen on her expression. She gave me her hand, helping me up as she backed away, igniting her green sabre once more.

Aleera: "Now, remember to do what you always do... instead now... nullify your rage... Unlearn, what you have learned."

I hesitated at first, really thinking about that last line she said, before I readied myself once more. Following what she recommended, and calming my offensive-based nature. Breathing in and out a bit more rhythmic.

Aleera: "Ready?"

She asked. I opened my eyes, nodding with determination.

She flung forward once more, her green saber a flurry of swings. I was quick to block each and every one of them, I almost felt as if it were on instinct. Like what my father had taught me. Yet instead of rage, I was acting through serenity...

My lightsaber was if it were a barrier, Aleera's rapid and fierce attacks like waves battering rocks. I held up against them steadfast, immovable and unbreakable. Like she said... This went on for a short few minutes, sometimes I faltered but not as fatally as I did before. Then, when I was certain that she had been fighting for awhile close to exhaustion, I burst open with the offensive attacks, switching to Djem So I battered her resisting blade as this time I was the one who knocked it out of her hand. Holding my crimson sabre to her neck steadily.

Aleera: "Impressive, you learn fast..."

(Y/N): "Thank you."

I responded actually feeling some gratefulness for her, having taken the time to teach and help me. She grabbed and holstered her lightsaber as I deactivated mine.

Aleera: "You must've been a great student, regardless of whether you were Sith or Jedi."

(Y/N): "Well in the eyes of my father, I always needed improvement."

I said, grabbing some coaxium, and a small blaster pistol since I'd probably need it sooner or later.

Aleera: "Well, I guess your father clearly never saw the potential in you... You've clearly become a great swordsman."

(Y/N): "You really mean that?"

I asked wholeheartedly, she smirked and nodded.

Aleera: "Indeed I do. Now then..."

She said, grabbing some more coaxium vials.

Aleera: "...time for the Separatists to get a taste of their own medicine."
