《Son of the Dark (Male Sith Reader X Female Jedi)》Chapter 13: Negotiations Were Short...

We both were able to nab a ship thanks to the credits I gained in that game of Sabaac, it was one of those newer T-6 Jedi Shuttles. Good enough. I knew exactly where those gangsters hid, on an unnamed planet deep in Hutt Space.
Aleera: "(Y/N), how do you know exactly where those gangsters live?"
(Y/N): "Those wanted posters tell you everything, even where their base is. It's just that they control the Black Market for weapons around here. That's how they're still operating, no one's gonna try and destroy the biggest weapons distributor in the sector, even the Seperatists. Where do you think Vindiho Front gets their weapons from? They are close to debt since the Republic seized the banks and they're gonna do anything to get some funds back."
Aleera: "So by destroying this cartel, we also hurt the Seperatist's economy."
She said. I snapped.
(Y/N): "Exactly, not as much as you think though. Since they still have enough to continue this war for at least 4 years. Even then, the Republic might not have enough clones to trade losses with them."
Aleera: "We'll see what this plan of yours brings, if it doesn't do us any good what happens then?"
(Y/N): "We move out into the Outer Rim, Hutt Space isn't as safe as it was anymore since Grievous was able to find us there."
Aleera nods, before helping me on the hyperspace co-ordinates, as we begin the jump Aleera turns to me and spoke.
Aleera: "(Y/N), perhaps we could try to negotiate with them?"
(Y/N): "Why so? These are intergalactic gangsters we're talking about."
Aleera: "Even if I'm working with you, a Sith. I still prefer the Jedi way over the way of the Dark Side."
I chuckle as I shake my head.
(Y/N): "Well my dear, I hate to burst your bubble but the Jedi way isn't the way to go sometimes."

Aleera: "I thought you said you didn't dislike-."
(Y/N): "I said I didn't hate today's generation of Jedi. Just the hypocrisy of what they stand for."
Aleera: "We're not outright killing these people, I'm going to try and make peace with them whether you like it or not. It's the Jedi way, I'm not gonna become a Sith like you because of murderous injustice"
(Y/N): "Don't try my patience, Jedi."
Aleera: "What's that supposed to mean?"
I almost burst in laughter, she honesty thinks I'll negotiate with the lowest of scum in the galaxy!?
(Y/N): "...I'm not negotiating with these people Aleera."
Aleera: "Only a few tons of explosives is all we ask, we have about 900 Credits to offer."
Aleera told the man, whom was on a throne made with weapons of every kind. I honestly thought it would be comedic should they suddenly discharge. But we're both here, wearing voice altering masks, looking like idiots in front of this man who was obviously not taking the both of us seriously.
Leader: "And where are these credits you speak of?"
He asks, chomping down on a fruit from the bowl next to him.
Aleera: "In my husband's ship, it's just right out there. You brought them didn't you honey?"
(Y/N): "Why of course I did, I'm not stupid."
I loathed with sarcasm on that last word. I wasn't too mad. Just ticked off.
(Y/N): "I'm going to get them now."
Leader: "Not so fast, Mr. Overconfident. I know who you are, don't think I don't recognize that smug voice."
(Y/N): "Well, somehow I knew this would happen."
Aleera: "Oh no..."
Leader: "You're not getting out of here alive. Lucky boy."
(Y/N): "YOU aren't getting out of here alive I can assure that."
I pointed, Aleera removed her mask and ignited her green lightsaber. Moving into her Ataru pose.

Leader: "Jedi! Blast her!"
The henchmen blasted at her as she deflected all bolts, blasting their own guns as she motioned for me to follow her.
Aleera: "Come on! We gotta regroup."
I followed and glared at the leader for a few moments before we made it out of their fortress.
We quickly ran through corridors, passing the Leader's grunts as they saw us and joined their comrades in giving chase. We eventually made it to the entrance and exited onto the landing platform as Henchmen guarding our docked shuttle were still there, they engaged us as Aleera quickly handed me her blue lightsaber. Nodding as I ignited it, we both deflected any blaster fire from the men who were surrounding us. One threw a grenade at me, but I caught it with the Force while smiling. Sending it back flying towards them, it blew up a large chunk of them and sent the others in absolute disarray.
Henchmen: "Keep shooting guys keep shooting! They're not invincible!"
One cried out desperately.
(Y/N): "It's good to have goals in life, especially since it's ending so soon!"
I wasn't trained in defense against other wielders well, but that doesn't mean I wasn't able to deflect blaster fire. I aimed to kill, I could see Aleera aimed to cripple. We both cleared the platform eventually as we began to make our way back in, though Aleera vouched to stay near the ship just in case anyone tried to take it, I went back inside myself.
(Y/N): "More cattle for the slaughter!"
I shouted as I entered, swinging out in rage and glee. Aleera's blue lightsaber felt awkward to use, as it did not fit my grip. But also because it was deemed a holy weapon of peace by the galaxy, an assumption that did not fit to my liking. I repeatedly killed and maimed any man that dared cross me on my way back to the Leader's room. One tried to swing a vibroblade at me, but I caught his wrist with my idle hand and slowly crushed it, he fell to the ground in anguish as I plunged the blue saber into his chest.
Others tried to resist but they fell to the same fate, I eventually came across 5 men who put down their blasters, with their hands out and ready in the air.
Henchman: "P-please don't kill us, we give up! We don't want to fight anymore. A Jedi like you wouldn't kill an unarmed man, would you?"
I smiled, tilting my head.
(Y/N): "You poor fools."
They did not know what I meant, I holstered Aleera's blue lightsaber, and took out my own. Quickly igniting it, with that low hum and eerie glow striking fear into their hearts as they cowered even more.
I slashed, stabbed and swung my signature red lightsaber as their pained screams could be heard all around the fortress. Not one remained in one piece after I was finally done with them. I finally deactivated my saber, sensing a decreased presence in the building.
I continued my now unopposed walk before I entered the throne room again, where the Leader cowered behind his throne of weapons, holding a dinky little cheap blaster. He fired once as I blocked it with my idle hand. Lifting and strangling him with the Force, throwing him across the vast room into the opposite wall he cried in pain as I smirked even more.
Leader: "N-no... NO!"
He curled up in complete agony. I did not respond while I slowly approached dragging my lightsaber across the floor. Twirling it and swiftly pulling it up in a stabbing position, not hesitating to stick it into his abdomen. He wheezed and coughed before the blade took him too.
I deactivated my lightsaber as I pulled up a comlink from my robe pocket, pressing a button as Aleera responded on the opposite end.
Aleera: "Hey, did you secure the fortress?"
(Y/N): "It's all ours, come back inside. Let's find their caches."
Aleera: "Very well."

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
