The shuttle came out of hyperspace and in front of the shuttle was a Star Destroyer.
"Everyone ready ?" Kanan asked as the rest nodded. Then a rumbling noise was heard and a voice. The com-link in the shuttle turned on.
"Imperial Shuttle 12987, you have been reported as stolen" A voice from the inside the star detroyer was heard through the com-link. "This is Stormtrooper 123..657.45. Me and my cadet have found this shuttle on Lothal. We are well aware that it was reported as stolen but at the time there was no one in it so we took it back sir"Kanan said clearly getting a bit confused by the numbers.
"Alright trooper, What is your reason for entering the Star Destroyer?"The man from the transmission asked "We have a few Rebel prisioners that were caught stealing Imperial supplies at Lothal sir"Kanan answered. "Good Work Trooper, Entrance granted" The man said
"Sir Yes Sir,Thank you Sir". The com-link turned off. Kanan was muttered "I told you I got this". "Wow Good Work trooper he said, What about me?"Ezra asked jokingly. Kanan chuckeled "Very funny kid". Ezra again felt...he felt nice, relaxed.
"You know Kanan, you would make a good bucket Head"Sabine said "No I wouldn't !"Kanan protested. "I'm on Sabine's side this time boss"Zeb added with a laugh
"Well I'm on Kanan's side"Ezra suddenly said putting his hands on his hips confidently. Kanan smiled "Thanks, padawan"
"Padawan...?"Ezra thought "Why...does it feel...right"
After a few minutes the shuttle landed on the landing platform in the Star Destroyer. The crew went out. Sabine,Zeb and Chopper were behind Ezra and Kanan that now had their helmets on. Zeb, Sabine were acting as prisioners while Ezra, Kanan and chop were guiding them. Soon they were met by two other stormtroopers "Your entrance code trooper"One of them said

"Um..."Kanan totally forgot the code Hera had gave him. Ezra heard it as he entered the common room while being chased by Zeb. Naturally he remebered it immedietly. Maul's training was not for nothing. Ezra sighed and came in front of Kanan.
"It's 34567864"Ezra said to the trooper "Entrance granted" The troopers moved away as the rebels went inside the star destroyer.
IN THE HALLS OF THE STAR DESTROYERS...
There were no troopers around whatsoever. The halls were quiet, completely.
"Well this is unusual"Sabine said "Agreed"Kanan said with suspicion
"It's too quiet...."Ezra added. Kanan then turned to Sabine "Okay Sabine Where is the info?". "Just a little ahead"
Around a minutes passed and the crew was in front of a grey door "Chopper open it!"Zeb said. Chopper muttered something as he was opening the door. After just a few seconds the door opened as the crew went inside a room with only one computer in the middle. Kanan looked at Ezra gesturing him to do something. The teenager nodded "Guess It's my turn". Ezra bent down and took out a USB stick, typed in a few codes and put it in the computer, starting to download the Imperial info. "I have no idea what I'm doing,but I know I'm doing it really really well..."Ezra thought. After about 2 minutes the info uploaded and gave a small "Ding !".
"Done!"Ezra said pulling out the USB stick. Kanan nodded "Well done, lets go...something is off"
The crew ran back through the halls and to the landing platform where they came from. It was still painfully quiet.
ON THE LANDING PLATFORM...
"Hera should bust us out any minute" Sabine said. Then suddenly a few doors behind the crew opened and from them emarged a whole army of Stormtroopers.

"We're busted"Ezra said. The troopers started shooting at the crew as they took shelter behind some metal boxes. Zeb and Sabine started to shoot back. Kanan looked at the situation and then at the teenage boy next to him. He was clearly on full alert. Kanan looked at Sabine, she nodded and from her backpack that was on her back she pulled out Ezra and Kanan's lightsabers that they put in while in the Imperial shuttle. She tossed them towards the two as they caught them.
"Ezra shall we?"Kanan asked as Ezra gave a nod. He figured out what Kanan had wanted. The two activaded they lightsaber, rose up and started deflecting shots from the stormtroopers. Kanan glanced at Ezra who's reflexes were off the chart. Suddenly two new dark figures entered the battle. Kanan quickly recognised them. It was the Seventh sister and The fifth Brother.
"Ah,just what we need"Kanan said
"Well hello there"Seventh sister said as both of the Inquisitors activaded their lightsabers, revealing red blades. Then Kanan's com-link went on "Spectre 1,I'll be there in a few seconds,be ready for pick up"Hera said over the com-link.
"Okay,we'll be ready"Kanan said as the com-link turned off, focusing his attention back to the red blades. The Ghost suddenly busted in, firing at the imperials. The ship's ramp opened and Hera's voice could be heard over everyone's com-links "Everyone in!". The crew started retreating while still shooting. Sabine and Zeb jumped on the platform togather with Chopper. Kanan and Ezra were still deflecting shots, protecting the ones on the ramp as they were backing away also ready to jump on the Ramp. Kanan and Ezra turned around and they were ready to get in the Ghost.
"You are not escaping that easily"The Seventh sister said while getting closer. She then threw her lightsaber towards..Kanan. But he didnt hear her. Only Ezra noticed the upcoming lightsaber. He froze, "I gotta dodge just in cas--" Ezra thought but
Suddenly the memory of what Kanan told him at the shuttle struck him. Ezra recalled what Kanan said...he remembered the feeling of being...safe..of everything being alright while with Kanan. Time seemed to slow down. There was a choice displayed for Ezra, a hard one. To protect Kanan..or himself. The Seventh sister's lightsaber was already close to hit Kanan and in one swift movement Ezra moved in front of Kanan. Now the lightsaber was just inches away from the younger boy. Kanan quickly felt someone move in front of him. He turned around and saw Ezra moving in front of him to protect him from the lightsaber. Kanan's eyes widened "Ezra!"Kanan yelled in horror as Ezra closed his eyes, waiting for impact.
''Ezra!'' was the last thing Ezra heard before everything went black.....
