《Stuck With Him: Kai Parker》5

My eyes slowly opened and I frowned at the ceiling. I was mad at Kai, who had vanished.
Letting out a loud breath, I climbed out of bed and redid my hair as I walked down to the kitchen. "Hello." Kai waved with his usual grin as if nothing happened the night before.
"Hi." I said, sitting down at the table with a confused look. Kai placed a plate of egg, bacon and beans in front of me. "Thanks."
Kai sat down opposite with his own food. "How are you?" He asked, as we began to eat.
I shrugged. "Fine, but what was the matter with you last night?"
"Oh." Kai said after a while. "I wanted to sleep with you again." He winked, eating a forkful of food and I rolled my eyes.
"You're so childish, Malachai." I grinned, eating a forkful of food in my mouth.
Kai rolled his eyes. "Whatever, Ri." Smiling at him, we both went back to our meals.
Once we had finished, I cleaned up everything while Kai washed and got dressed. When I washed, dried and put away all the dishes, I went upstairs to get myself washed.
I walked into my bathroom and hopped into the shower, washing my dirty hair. Singing along to myself, I switched off the shower.
"And something, something. I'm into to you." I wrapped the towel around my body, quickly scrubbed my teeth and left the bathroom still humming to myself.
I dried and moisturised my body before throwing on my undergarments and a pair of black socks.
I threw on a pair of black shorts and an oversized tee. I brushed my hair and left it down to dry naturally.
I left my bedroom and bumped into Kai on my way downstairs. He was wearing black shorts with a Batman T-shirt. I smiled at his adorable yet childish outfit.
"Your hair looks nice down." He complimented as we went downstairs again. I smiled and thanked him.
We both sat down on the sofa in the living room and I nudged his arm. "Nice shirt."
Kai looked down at his shirt and grinned. "Batman is awesome." He defended, I held up my hands.
"I like Batman calm down." I told him. He laughed and I rolled my eyes. I suddenly squealed out when Kai tickled my side.
"You're ticklish." He devilishly smiled.
I shook my head. "Don't you dare, Malachai." I warned, however he ignored me and carried on tickling me. "Kai!" I squealed out between giggles. "Stop, stop!"
He shook his head. "Say 'Kai is totally awesome'."
"Never." I replied but it only made him continued to tickle me, so much I fell on my back against the sofa with him straddling me.
"Say it."
"No."
"Say it."
"No."
"Alright then." Kai continued to tickle me, making sure my arms were trapped by his legs.
"Okay..okay...." I caved in. He stopped and I caught my breath. "Kai is totally awesome." I breathed out, wiping my eyes. "I hate you some times."

Kai grinned in victory and I shook my head at him. "You're cute, Ri."
I frowned. "I am not cute."
"Fine you're adorable." I rolled my eyes as he laughed staring at me. I noticed he was looking at my lips and not my eyes.
I hesitated on what to do. I chose to break the silence and tension. "We need to go shopping."
Something flashed in Kai's eyes but it quickly went and he climbed off me. "Alright, Ri."
I mentally screamed, as I sat up and fixed my clothes.
I grabbed Zeke, throwing him on my back before Kai and I left the house. We chatted all the way to the store and Kai got a kart pushing it as I threw food inside.
"What do you want for dinner?" I asked. Kai shrugged, chewing his lip in a cute way. "Alright. What about pizza?" I suggested, his face brightened and he nodded like a child.
I chuckled. "Alright, I'll go get some, you get the desserts."
Kai winked and flashed me a grin. "Deal."
I left Kai and made my way towards the frozen food section. I bit my lip, debating which pizza to choose. I ran my finger along the options and finally decided on a cheese.
. Collecting two boxes of pizza, I nodded in satisfaction and made my way back to Kai. While on my way back, I glance around to find Kai.
"Malachai." I called into the empty shop aisles. I fused my eyebrows together. "Malachai." I repeated, louder when I didn't hear a response. "Malachai! Where the hell are you?"
Again no reply, I huffed. "Malac-" A hand clasp over my mouth which muffled my scream. I jumped and drop the boxes of pizzas.
"Surprised to see me, Ri?" Kai chuckled, I felt his breath against the back of my neck that sent a shiver down my spine.
He removed his hand and spun me around so I faced him. "I hate you." I glared, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Love you too, Ri." He winked, turning around and walking back to the kart. Despite his words being false it still made butterflies in my stomach.
Shaking away my thoughts, I strolled down the aisle catching up with Kai. "Did you get the pizzas?"
"I did but you made me drop them." I pointed to the pizzas on the floor and Kai glanced over. He pouted. I rolled my eyes. "Besides I decided pancakes would be better."
"Pancakes are always better." Kai grinned, his face lighting up once more.
Smiling at his childish way, I spoke. "But you're washing up." His face dropped and I laughed.
++++
"Told you pancakes are better." I beamed while we ate our pancakes. Kai moaned in agreement, stuffing more pancake in his mouth.
I giggled at his childish ways and put another forkful in my mouth. Swallowing my mouthful, I sipped my water to help the food go down my mouth. "Are you a virgin?"

I choked on my water at Kai's question, spluttering it down my top while I coughed. "What?" I managed to say between coughs.
Kai shrugged. "Are you a virgin?" He repeated, slowly as he shoved more food in his mouth.
"Why would I tell you that?" I wondered. "And besides how am I suppose to know?"
"Well you have memories about some guy, so you probably slept with him." Kai assumed, tilting his head as he rested it on his hand. "And besides, I'm your best friend and we share each other secrets."
I arched a brow. "Friend? Yes. Best friend? That's debatable." I told him, finishing my pancake before putting my plate away in the sink.
"Hurtful, Ri." Kai placed his hands on my waist spinning me around. I leaned back away from him.
"Personal space, Kai."
"Why am I making you uncomfortable?"
I put my hands on his chest, feeling the muscle underneath. "No, but you are getting a little too close."
"I kind of like this position."
"Well I kind of don't so....." I budged him but he wouldn't move. I sighed with annoyance. "You're so frustrating."
"You're so cute."
"Oh my God, I'm not cute. Stop calling me that."
"Why Ri? Hey that rhymes."
I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Your level of stupidity is actually making my brain ache."
Kai chuckled. "You have a brain?"
"You actually think you're funny?"
"I know, I'm hilarious."
"Keep telling yourself that." I replied. "Now can you Malachai please excuse yourself from my personal space."
Kai rolled his eyes but let me go and I patted his cheek. "Thank you, Malachai." I smiled, moving away from the counter and jumping onto the sofa.
"Ri." He whined. I looked over my shoulder at him with an annoyed expression. "There's no more jam."
I chuckled. "Go and get some more then." I said, turning back round. I picked out my book from Zeke and began reading.
"But I don't want to." Kai continued to whine. I sighed, ignoring him while I read my book. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched Kai sit down next to me.
"I'm bored, Ri." He said, poking my cheek repeatedly. I took deep breaths to manage my anger. "Entertain me, Ri."
He carried on poking me. "I swear to God if you poke me one more time, I will choke you with a pancake." I growled, putting down my book.
Kai grinned, poking my cheek again. Taking a deep breath, I lounged at him trapping his arms with my legs. I poked Kai's cheek repeatedly.
"Annoying isn't it?"
"Get off me." He complained, but I didn't budge.
"Not until you apologise."
"I don't apologise."
"Apologise Malachai."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No, Riley."
"Yes Malachai."
"Fine." I raised my eyebrows. Kai let out a deep breath. "I'm sorry."
"What was that?" I put my hand to my ear, leaning down to him. "Didn't quite catch that, Malachai."
"I'm sorry!" He repeated much louder in my ear.
I held my ear and frowned. "Ow." I whined, moving off him. Kai laughed, running his hand through his hair making it messier yet perfect.
"That was fun."
I rolled my eyes, punching his arm. "You're so annoying, Malachai Parker." I stated, crossing my arms over my chest.
Kai scoffed, punching me back. "I could say the same about you Riley Campbell." I stuck out my tongue, flipping my hair off my shoulders.
"I'm amazing."
"In your dreams." He replied. "Where you think of me and you naked-"
I shoved his arm. "Yeah totally." I said sarcastically.
"I knew it."
"Sarcasm. Ever heard of it?" I questioned, moving my hair out of my face.
Kai tapped his chin. "I don't think so, Ri."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Please just stop talking." I got off the sofa and collected an apple from the kitchen.
"Why I like talking?" Kai said, I spun around and bumped into him.
Luckily I caught myself and just sighed. "Well I also like having my own space but we can't have everything, can we?"
"Personal space." Kai began, moving closer so his body was pressing against mine. "Is so overrated."
I gulped and dryly chuckled. "Well too bad cause I find it just fine."
Kai chuckled. "Am I making you nervous, Ri?" He asked, tracing my lips with his thumb.
My cheeks flushed. "N-no." I stuttered, cursing under my breath.
"N-no." He mimicked, dropping his hand. "Aww......you're too cute." He squeezed my cheeks, slightly turning my head side to side.
I slapped his hands away. "For the last time I am not cute." I stated, growing frustrated. Kai winked. "Now." I pushed him off me. "I'd like to get back to my book thank you very much."
He laughed, grabbing himself a bag of Pork Grinds before sitting down next to me. "Why do bother reading, Ri?" He asked, shoving food in his mouth.
"Why do you bother breathing?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. Kai raised his eyebrows but amusement was in his beautiful coloured eyes.
"Harsh, Ri." He replied and I couldn't help but smile, resting my feet on the coffee table as my book laid on my lap. I usually loved reading but an annoying noise appeared my ear.
I turned to Kai, who was still eating as loud as a horse. "Can you please eat quieter?"
"Can you please breath quieter?"
I knew it was a good come back and laughed. "Alright I'll let you have that one."
