I sat on one of the benches un able to believe what I just witnessed, I was at loss of words.

I didn't know what to tell them and what to not tell.

The only thing that I knew that I missed them more than anything and that I was really mad at them for everything they did .

"Hey babes" Katie said hugging me from behind then nate hugged me

"are you okay?" Nate asked as I shook my head

"We are here for you babe" Katie said As I nodded "we'll be there if you need anything" she said before they both disappeared

"knock knock" I heard a voice say

"Who's there" I said quietly while smiling

"The best guy in the whole wide world?" Alex said "can I sit?"

"Of course, why are you even asking?" I said

"I don't know, you're sitting alone and in the dark, thought maybe you need some alone time" he said as he took a seat beside me

"you're always welcome on my alone time" I said as I placed my head on his chest and he wrapped an arm around me

"how do you feel ?" He asked running his fingers through my hair

"I don't know" I said " I miss them Alex"

"I know you do," he said "if you ever want to meet with them, I'll always be with you"

"I don't want to see them! They kicked me out Alex, I was pregnant" I said tears welling up in my eyes

"baby, what they did is the worst and I'm sure they do regret it now" Alex said "can i tell you something?"

"Tell me" I said

"I love you Becca, and I really do mean it" he said as my heart started beating faster

"I love you too Alex" I said

"What?" He asked "you sure?"

"I am, I love you alex and I swear I'm so lucky to have you" I said as he connected our lips But we pulled back when we heard footsteps

"sorry I just wanted to check on mommy" Evelyn as she sat on Alex's lap "are you okay mommy?"

"I am baby, I am" I said

"I know you're not" she said "Im sorry mommy, I insisted on going to the public beach"

"Baby girl no, it's not your fault, everyone wanted to go for a change" I said

"And baby your mother is alright, she will be and both of us will stick with her, nothing is your fault" Alex said as she nodded

"everyone is worried about you over there" Evelyn said

"let's go and tell them I'm all alright" I said standing up while we walked with Alex's hands intertwined in mine

"darling how do you feel" Aaron said leaving the food and approaching me

"I'm good, I'm great everyone, don't worry" I said

" you sure?" Katie asked

"I'm sure guys" I said

"What do we have for dinner?"alex asked

"we have some steak and ribs" nate replied

"I'm been craving that for a while" belle said

"Is she pregnant or something?" Katie asked

"Are you?" Brandon asked

"No!" Belle exclaimed

"Thankgod I'm not ready to be a father!" Brandon said

"Shut up, you love kids and we all know you'll be a good father" Alex said

"Why do I feel like I'm third wheeling here?" Ethan asked

"Don't worry son, I'm third wheeling with you" Aaron said

"Ohhh, are you saying we should date?!" Ethan said

"Ethan!" All of us said as we laughed

"The food is ready" Nate said placing the food On the plate then coming to the table

Everyone thanked nate before we sat

"Evelyn, Sophie, Come here" Katie said before they ran to us

"Soph where is my hug?" I asked before she ran hugging me "how are you little one?"

"I'm good" Soph said before they went sitting on the empty chairs

Everyone chatted and ate as I started blankly at the food

"baby?" Alex said putting a hand on my shoulder as I sat up straight looking at him

"Huh?"

"I've asked you three times if you want mash potatoes?" Alex said as I shook my head

"No thanks baby" I replied

"I can tell that something is wrong" Alex said

"Nothing is, I'm alright" I said

"You can't lie to me, I know you" Alex said "we'll talk about this later but will you please eat something now?" He asked putting a strand of my hair behind my ear

"I don't feel like eating, Alex" I said

"baby" Alex said in a serious voice

"nope" I said giving him a pout before he grabbed his fork and cut a piece of his steak and brought it to my mouth

"Alex I don't feel like eating" I said

"baby open you mouth" Alex said

"Becca why aren't you eating?" Aaron said grabbing everyone's attention

"she doesn't feel like eating" Alex said mimicking my voice making them laugh

"Will you please eat?Open your mouth" Aaron said

"Baby what's wrong?" Katie said

"Nothing is wrong guys, don't worry" I said

"Then eat" Belle said

"I don't fee-mgmmdf" Alex said putting the meat into my mouth

"Alex!" I said as everyone laughed

"I swear to god Alex if I threw up, I'm going to throw up on you, told you I don't feel like eating" I said as he laughed And I smiled at how cute he looked

"I just really not in the mood for eating guys, I don't feel well" I said

"do you want me to take you home?" Alex asked

"No" I said

"Becca, you can go" Ethan said

"No E, I want to sit with you guys" I said

"You're sitting with us but your mind is somewhere else, so just go home and rest, what you've been through today isn't easy" Brandon said

"okay but I'm going with the driver" I said

"No I'm driving you" Alex said

"I can also drop you off and come back here but I think it's better if Alex is with you so we won't worry about you" Nate said

"You don't have anything to be worried about, and baby you can't come home for me and miss this family gathering" I said

"This isn't the last time we're having this family gathering Becca!" Aaron said

"Dad is right, and you're the most important thing to me so shut up" Alex said "now get up and let's go"

"Eve?" I asked

"We're staying with you guys so we'll bring her" Brandon said

"I'm sorry guys for this all, I really want to stay but you are insisting that I leave, you guys enjoy your time okay?" I said

"You have nothing to be sorry about" Katie said

"I love you guys, enjoy your time" I said As I walked with Alex as he held my hands
