"I'm taking a picture" someone said before I heard the camera sound

"What the heck?" I said opening my eyes to see my self snuggled to Alex with his head resting on top of mine while his eyes fluttered open

"guys?" He said in a raspy voice before we realized the situation we were in before we jumped off each other, me felling out of the couch while he bumped his head on the wall

"shit" he yelled as everyone laughed at us

Alex put his one hand on his head rubbing it while the other, he offered me his hand to help me up while I took it

"Baby! You're awake!" I said running to her bed

someone knocked on the door before entering quietly

"eve baby, how do you feel" she said going to eve

"Auntie tee!, I'm good! Why didn't you bring soph?" She frowned when she didn't find Sophie "and uncle Nate too"

"because the doctor said that you can't bring kids in here and we don't want soph to be sick right? Uncle Nate said that he loves you so much and he'll come see you when you're at home" she said kissing her cheek "but we may got you something you'd like, soph said you'll love it"

"What is it!!!" She said happily

It was a small doll car she wanted, she always wanted the large house but because of the situation I was in, she asked for something smaller but yet it was expensive

everyone looked at me "um, some money issues, I promised her I would get her later but guess you guys beat me" I said trying to smile

"I'm gonna go get something to drink, anyone wants anything" I asked

"But that's not she cares about right now Ethan, she's a kid, she wants toys, she wants to sit home have her own things and so much more" I said

"Alex will do his job now, you did yours" he said

"no becca, He is her father and it's his job to do everything! you've been through a lot Becca because Alex has been an asshole, I know him better than anyone and I know how both of you were, you didn't do anything wrong but that you tried to hide it from him the past 2 weeks was wrong" he said

"It hurts, I feel guilty for keeping them away whenever I see them, he would've been a good father to her, I think so" I said

"don't worry, I'm gonna have a talk with Alex" Ethan said as I nodded before ordering some coffee and I got Eve some hot chocolate, Ethan payed before we took the coffee that was in a cup holders
