"My job, and besides she's my friends granddaughter, so it's nothing, and yes your father said he'll come soon, let me go and greet him" the doctor said as he got out and we sat in on the couch putting some space between us
"I didn't know, it's the first time this happens, I don't usually take her to hospitals because her fever always goes whenever I gave her some paracetamol and as she took a shower in cold water, but when the nurse told me that her fever Isn't lowering, I had to take her to that hospital" I said as Alex nodded

And you wake up early and leave for work which I didn't know about but anyways, you are the one who should rest Becca" he said

I leaned back on the couch and closed my eyes

"Shh, sleep, you'll wake eve up" he said Before i let out a chuckle with a smile on my face before closing my eyes
