"I can't take it guys, I really can't take it all with her acting like this towards me, as if I'm no one to her, she wanted to leave me, she chose him" I said hitting my knees while crying

"shhh, don't, don't! Becca!" Nate said holding my hands

Alex opened the door and looked at us "is she alright? Are you okay becca?" He asked

I looked at him before looking at the figure beside him, she didn't look at me not even for a second

"GET OUT! ITS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" Nate yelled at Alex before Alex nodded and closed the door

"i can't do this, every time something happens, I can't breathe, I feel like I'm suffocating and now I can't" I said "she didn't look at me nate, did you see that? She didn't, she always did ask me even if I was just lost in thoughts and now I'm breaking down infront of her and she didn't even look at me" I said

"Becca, calm down, calm down Becca! She is just a kid! She'll regret this later B, but please don't do this to yourself, take a deep breathe, it's just couple of days and she'll come to you" he said

"But I can't take a couple of days, I'd rather die" I said my voice breaking

"Deep breathes, in, out" Katie said wiping her tears again before holding my hands

"Shhh, listen to Katie calm down" Nate said as I took deep breaths before calming down

"You alright?" Katie asked after a while

"I'm not" I said

"That's a stupid thing to ask, sorry" she said

"I think it's time for you to rest becs" Nate said as he ran his hands through my hair

"But Eve is still awake" I said

"We will take care of her and making sure she is a sleep before leaving" Katie said

"I can't, I won't, I know myself" I said as they nodded "you guys should go" I said

"No we're staying longer" Katie said

"No tee, you're not, look I'm okay, I'll just make sure that she slept then I'm gonna sleep" I said

"No" she said

"Katie please, please nate" I said

"I think we should go" Nate said "but promise me you'll be calm" he said

"I promise, and I don't feel like crying so I promise I won't cry too" I said

"alright then" Katie said as she hugged me tightly

After them leaving, I stayed in bed for hours before going out of the room and going into her room

She wasn't there, I looked around the room but didn't find her, I entered her bathroom, looked through the guess room, the whole house but didn't find her,

I ran into Alex's room, he was laying shirtless in his bed with his phone in his hands

"Alex! Eve! Eve's not there, I look-" Alex stopped me

"Shh, she's over here" he said as he motioned to Eve who slept peacefully on his chest with the blankets covering her

I took a deep breath "I was scared, I couldn't find her" I whispered

"she wanted to sleep with me today" he said as I nodded looking at her

"That's just like how she slept with me everyday, curling herself into a ball with her hand collapsed together while her head is on my chest or resting on my arm" I said

"um... are, are you okay?" He asked

I stayed silent thinking, "um, actually I'm not" I said

I went over to them and pressed my lips to her head "I don't know if I'll be able to sleep without you tonight but at least you're sleeping peacefully, goodnight love" I whispered

"Goodnight" I got out of his room and went down going through the house for an hour before returning to Alex room to see them both a sleep with eve laying on his chest as he had his arms wrapped around him

I took a seat on his couch and started for as long as possible

Everything was my fault, I knew Alex wouldn't have accepted her but he should've known, she was his child, he had the right to know about her

I felt bad for everything

my heart was aching seeing them like this, eve deserves the world, she's the kindest kid that has a beautiful soul, she would do anything to see me happy although she's the one that should be happy, she didn't ask for anything because she understood the situation we were in and I loved her more than anything

she was a part of me,

and I here I am a mess because my daughter, the only one who I loved more than anything for 6 years, she didn't want me, she didn't care if I was her or at our house

Before I know it, my eyes closed before I fell a sleep on his couch
