《Idol War (VKOOK)》Last performance

The boys have a lot of fun performing Not Today together.
Halfway through, Yoongi and Jin forget the routine so they start dancing together doing random things. Jimin notices this and breaks out of formation to join them.
They all end up jumping up and down and running around the stage while directing their voices to the crowd.
And the crowd seems to enjoy it, screaming their lungs out every time one of the competitors gets close to them.
Even the judges seem to be enjoying the lax performance.
They finish with big smiles and heavy breathing, earning a loud applause before exiting the stage.
And just as they exit the stage, Taehyung is quickly rushed to the makeup station for touch ups- right before his performance.
Jungkook watches the boy get dragged away, before continuing to walk with his still newly made friends.
Jimin walks with him, watching as the other competitors walk in front.
"Ya Jungkook..." Jimin starts, gaining Jungkook's attention.
"Yeah?"
"Yoongi told me all about...you and Taehyung." Jimin spills, causing Jungkook to groan.
Jungkook might have mentioned to Yoongi that "I need you" was somewhat about Taehyung...
"Ahhh of course Yoongi." Jungkook rolls his eyes but his cheeks are growing slightly pink as Jimin smiles down their walk to a complete stop.
"No Jungkook, I'm glad he told me so soon because I have something to tell you." Jimin is serious and Jungkook almost flinches as the strange change in tone from Jimin. He's gripping Jungkook's arm tightly and Jungkook looks down.
"About Taehyung?" Jungkook asks, earning a nod.
The younger boy beckons for his friend to continue talking, even though he's a little worried that Jimin will say something bad.
"This whole time that Hoseok was telling you to make Taehyung drool over you by wearing revealing shirts and flirting with him- Taehyung had noticed his plan. He talked to me all about it.

"..and..?" Jungkook waits for the shorter boy to continue, getting anxious about where he's going with this.
"Well...The good news is, Taehyung told me that it was working on him. He says he lets his guard down around you even though he doesn't show it." Jimin says, earning a smirk from the younger.
"Really? Taehyung actually fell for that stuff?" Jungkook feels slightly cocky as he remembers all the times he tried to fluster the brown haired boy.
"Yeah. A little too much Jungkook...after he realized you were just trying to find his weakness, by sleeping with him and all that, I gotta say, Tae was really heartbroken."
Jimin's words are like a cold bucket of water on Jungkook's head. His smile quickly fades into a frown as he realizes everything in one big picture.
He's fucked up, real bad.
"But he knows that I...I wasn't just trying to-"
"Jungkook he thinks you were just sabotaging him. Maybe today he was acting fine with you, talking to you and giving you the same amount of skinship as usual. But I know Taehyung, and if he's acting extra nice today, it probably means he's trying to let you go. Before he hurts himself more."
Jungkook feels an overwhelming sense of emotions wash over him for the second time this day, his heart pounding nervously.
His eyes dart away from Jimin, looking past him where the brown haired boy is getting up from his chair and walking over to the backstage area with the crew. He's about to go on.
"He told me that you won. He said you found his weakness and that he wasn't strong enough to win against you. Taehyung told me he didn't want to win against you."
"Jimin I-" Jungkook nervously looks from Jimin, back to Taehyung before suddenly running past the short boy.

He runs through the small backstage area until Taehyung is just an arms length away.
"Taehyung-"
Jungkook reaches his arm out to grab the boys arm, just as Taehyung takes a step foreword, following Namjoon who's called him onto stage.
However the brown haired boy turns his head to Jungkook's direction for a split second, their eyes connecting.
And Jungkook tries to show with all he can that he's terribly sorry, however Taehyung just gives the boy a defeated smile before walking onto stage.
And Taehyung doesn't look back, even when Jungkook is just waiting right there, in eyes view.
"Taehyung." Jungkook whispers, knowing the boy is far too gone to hear him now.
And Taehyung grabs the mic once he's reached the middle of the stage, deeply sighing before looking up to the crowd.
"Excuse me- you can't be here right now. You can go watch on the screen over there in the-"
Jungkook pushes through the annoying crew member, running through the dark area and passing through the heavy door before he runs to the dressing room where the rest of the members are.
When he runs into the room, it's completely silent except for the start of If You.
Jungkook pushes passed Yoongi and Jin to catch the screen. And they don't hold him back as his eyes widen, seeing Taehyung on stage.
The boy is shining with the rest of te lights, looking like perfection, and Jungkook parts his lips to quietly gasp.
Taehyung looks beautiful, hitting his notes without even trying. It looks completely effortless and his body sways with the music.
And Jungkook believes Taehyung could actually win, he really could. However, Taehyung opens his eyes all of a sudden, gripping the mic a little tighter as his mouth suddenly slows to a stop.
And he doesn't say the next word, as the music continues to play behind him.
And everyone in the room seems to hold their breath, their eyes wide as they lean into the screen to see if Taehyung really just forgot the lyrics.
And he did. For a good 10 seconds.
He continues to sing the next line, but his cheeks are now redder than ever and Jungkook can see his eyes becoming slightly glossy.
And Jungkook's heart breaks, it really does.
"Shit Tae." Jungkook mumbles, earning a pat on the back from Hoseok, who quietly watches from behind.
Taehyung fidgets throughout the rest of the song, looking like it's painful to continue before it finally comes to an end.
The crowd cheers as usual, however te judges look unsure and a little on the edge. And Taehyung especially looks disappointed and defeated.
And Junkook believes it's all his fault.
Because he would never do those things with Taehyung if he didn't actually like the boy.
And Jungkook really, really likes this boy.

Gods of Arkanoth
The hunter has been betrayed, left alone in the streets of a lugubrious district. Only one goal appears in his eyes: to avenge himself. In his quest to avenge himself, he'll encounter an enigmatic scientist who seems to hide his true nature, a savior pretending to be a God, and the terrible truth of those words, bringing him against something he'd never thought he'd have to affront. This is the odyssey of the hunter, in a quest to put a long overdue end to a war between two worlds. // What to expect:The beginning will surely be intriguing, most of what's happeing won't be directly explained, although there will be some hints about their true roles, but do not worry about some subjects never leaving that misty fog that is unanswered questions! The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them. Schedule will probably not change after releasing chapter 4, so don't worry, it won't take even longer to post a chapter than it already is. Enjoy the ride :)
