"Finally we are back." Said Taehyung relieved as he opened the door and entered their room.
Jungkook following behind with a small smile.
"It was indeed tiring."
He sat down on the couch and took a deep breathe.
"I feel like I'll fall asleep any moment now."
The elder walked into the closet and hummed in reply.
Taehyung closed his eyes and leaned back on the back rest.
Soon Jungkook walked back in the room after changing his clothes and chuckled when he gazed at the younger.
"Come on, stand up. You need to change."
But the younger just whined and laid down on the couch with his eyes still closed.
"Taehyung ?"
"You can go to sleep after you change."
"I am sure you want to get out of the suit now."
The younger reluctantly opened his eyes and stared at him.
"Fine."He sighed.
He got up and strolled to the closest grumpily with his lips set in a pout.
Jungkook's lips curled up at this and he shook his head.
"Cute."
★★★★★★★★
"Watch where you're sitting. I don't want a single scratch on my car."
But the younger just chuckled.
"You are worried about your car,not me ?"
Yoongi rolled his eyes playfully and leaned back against the car.
"You'll be fine. Don't worry."
Jimin placed his arms behind him and inclined back, too.
He took a deep breathe in the night air and a small smile bloomed on his face.
"Thankyou,hyung."
Yoongi looked up at him and tilted his head to the side.
"For what ?"
"For bringing you to the beach this late at night ? "
"You're welcome."
Jimin shook his head.
"Well for this,too."
"But no I was talking about what happened with my father earlier."
"I have a question,though ?"
"What ?" The elder asked.
"How did you know that father was not exactly fond of my major ?"
Yoongi chuckled.
"It's not that tough to guess,Jimin-ah."
"Your father,my father. They all think the same."
"Don't think about him. I just know how to handle him."
"You focus on your major."
"Oh really ?"
"How do you know that ?" The younger asked.
Yoongi sighed.
"Your father can't afford to have me his rival at the moment."
"We have some projects ongoing together and if I pull out from them. It's not me who will face more loses."
"It is your father."
"So,he knows better."
"That's why he backed off so easily in the party."The shorter male muttered.
"Yes, that's why."
"But Jimin."
"Yeah ?"
"You know you have to stand up for yourself in front of him one day."
"I meant it when I said I'll be there for you."
"But that doesn't mean that I can always fight your battles for you."
Jimin looked up to stare at the moon as cold breeze passed by.
"What--what if you already lost the battle ?"
He asked remembering the very night he gave up painting.
"Than you stand up and fight for it again and again, just don't stop until you win it."
Jimin hummed.
"But hyung ?"
"Don't you think both of us need this advice ?"
Yoongi turned around to look at him.
His eyes softened.
"We do, Jimin-ah."
"We both do."
★★★★★★★★★
Taehyung moved to sit down on the bed and frowned when he saw Jungkook getting up from the couch.
"Where are you going ?" He asked.
The elder turned to look at him confused.
"In my study,to go to sleep."
"Why ?"
The younger shook his head and patted the bedsheets right next to him.
Jungkook tilted his head to the side.
"What ?"
Taehyung smiled.
"Sleep here."
"Huh ?"
The elder's eyes wide opened.
The younger had to hold back a laugh at his expression.
"I said that you can sleep here, Jungkook."
The elder shuffled around on his feets.
"Are you sure ?"
"You'll be comfortable with that ?"
Taehyung chuckled.
"Ofcourse,I'll be that's why I asked you."
"We have enough space, don't worry."
"Are you really sure ?"The elder questioned again just to confirm.
"Yes, Jungkook."
"I am."
The elder hesitantly walked upto his side of the bed and gazed at Taehyung, who was looking at him with amusement.
"You can sleep here."
"I don't mind and the couch in the study must be a little uncomfortable."
Jungkook got in the sheets and made himself comfortable.
"See, it was not that tough." The younger muttered.
"Just stay on your side and I will on mine."
The elder nodded.
Taehyung laid down and covered himself with the blanket.
He closed his eyes when he felt the his eyelids getting heavy.
"Goodnight,Jungkook."
The elder also laid down. A smile present on his face.
"Goodnight, Taehyung."
★★★★★★★★
Taehyung covered his face with the blanket when he heard some shuffling around the room.
He tried to ignore it but when the sounds didn't stop.
He groaned and sat up straight.
Rubbing his eyes for a moment. He opened them and frowned when he saw Jungkook walking around in the room.
"What are you doing ?"The younger asked, his voice husky.
The elder turned to look at him with a guilty expression.
"I am sorry. Did I wake you up ?"
Taehyung shook his head as he raised his hand in air to cover his mouth as a yawn escaped from his lips.
"It's fine."
"What time is it ?" He questioned and streched his arm forward to take his phone from bedside table.
"Quite early actually."Said Jungkook as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
Taehyung tilted his head to the side.
"Why are you up so early ?"

"I wanted to go to the gym before I get ready for work."
"Oh."
"You started to work out ?"
"Yeah,it's been a few days. Some equipments are still left to install but other than that it is fully functional."
"But they'll be done soon, too."
"Okay."The younger nodded and unlocked his phone.
"Shit."
"What happened ?" Asked Jungkook.
"We forgot."
The elder furrowed his eyebrows.
"What did we forget ?"
Taehyung looked up to meet his eyes.
"It is Namjoon and Jin hyung's wedding anniversary, today."
★★★★★★★★★
"Hyung ?"
Yoongi turned around to look at Jimin.
"What ?"
"It's their anniversary, today."
"It totally slipped our minds and I don't think even they remember it."
The elder sighed.
"I am not sure about Namjoon but Jin hyung definitely remembers this day, Jimin-ah."
"What do you think we should do ?"
"Wish them, have a small celebration or just ignore it ?"
Yoongi shook his head,a conflicted look on his face.
"I don't know,Jimin-ah."
"I have no idea."
★★★★★★★★
Jin clenched his fists and took a deep breathe.
He is not an idiot. He could sense that everyone was tip-toeing around him.
The day was here.
It was the day he decided to trust someone.
The day he decided to depend on the one he loved.
But got completely crushed and was left heart broken as the years passed by.
He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at his situation.
He was disappointed.
Disappointed at Namjoon.
And disappointed at himself for being so naive.
He felt so much despair.
The anger inside him building up.
He scoffed.
It's been a long day. The sun has started to set already.
Namjoon was nowhere to be found and others looked at him like he was a fragile doll that would break any moment now.
He was not that weak.
He survived for so long.
Even when Taehyung and Jimin were not married into the family. He survived. He did.
Jin does have his regrets,too.
He is not the same person as he was in the past.
And he hates how much he has changed exactly.
The moments he truly smiles is when he's with Changhoon.
Or when he is talking to his parents and sisters.
His parents.
He hasn't seen them in so long. But how could he let them see him.
They will learn everything just by a single look at him.
They will know about his suffering and pain.
The dark circles around his eyes will tell them the stories about his sleepless and restless nights.
His dark orbs will show them how alone he truly feels.
And with him they will also start feeling terrible and dejected.
It will pain them to know.
Jin will not be able to meet their eyes after they will get to know the truth.
His eyes shone with bitter tears and he wiped them with his hands.
He refuses to cry,today.
His steps guided him to get out the room he was in.
He opened the door and walked across the hallway.
A destination already in his mind.
★★★★★★★★
Despite wiping away his tears many times. They kept falling, frustrating Jin to no end.
He opened the door and looked around in the room.
No one was there.
Good. He thought.
Lost in his emotions he walked straight in the bar, looking for something to drown his sadness in.
He took a bottle from the counter and opened it carelessly, sitting down on the stool nearby.
He bit his lips as more tears escaped from his orbs.
He lifted the bottle up and the bitter liquid finally touched his lips.
He took in large gulps and placed the bottle of alcohol down.
Jin breathed in and out.
He reminisced all the past happy memories.
Oh what would he give to relive those moments again.
He remembered the first time he met Namjoon in high school when everything was a lot different.
He was happy.
And when they met it all felt like he was the main lead in a love story.
The way Namjoon stumbled into the classroom late.
Jin chuckled in a bitterness as he took in another large gulp.
Like a cliche, the only seat available was right next to him at the back where no one would look.
The way Namjoon almost fell a few times while walking to the seat.
His sheepish embarrassed smile as their eyes met.
He was kind, understanding and everything he wanted at that time.
And by the time the class was over. Jin was a total goner for him.
It only took him a few months to fall in love with him, someone who would break his heart in the future.
He heard the door open.
Namjoon walked in with a blank expression on his face and he looked away.
He didn't want to see him.
But the younger had another plans.
He walked upto the counter and took a bottle himself.
Namjoon sat down on the stool a little away from Jin.
And the elder sniffled.
They both drank in a complete silence.
Jin could already feel the alcohol take control of his body.
He felt light headed and the urge to cry still there.
His head hurt.
What was his mistake ?
He believed.
That's it.
He believed in someone.
They have been married for 8 years.
The day he was supposed to be happy on and celebrate it.
But he is here, crying and drinking his sorrow away.
He whimpered in pain.
His chest hurts.
Jin's life took a huge turn in these years.
He could have been something more.
A lot more than what he is today.
He yielded too soon.
Didn't put up a fight.
He took a deep breathe and tried to calm himself down. But to no avail.
"What happened to us,Joon-ah ?" He questioned.
His voice sounded so frail and shaky.
The younger sighed.
"I happened,hyung."
"I happened."

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
