"Where have you been,Jin ? I was worried."

"You went to your parents for a weekend and didn't come back for two weeks."Said Sarah and pulled him in a hug.

The other chuckled and hugged her back.

"Where do I start ? A lot of stuff happened in a such a short time."

Sarah shifted back and gave him her signature warm smile that always comforted him.

He was indeed really lucky to have such a supporting friend and roommate.

"Start from the very beginning but before that let me make some coffee for us."

"I have a feeling, we'll need it."She teased and walked to the kitchen.

Jin followed behind, sitting down by the counter.

"We will actually. So that's a good idea."

"So, what's up ? "

He didn't say anything and just showed her his hand, where a very costly ring was sat on his finger.

The girl gasped as soon as she saw it.

"Namjoon gave you a promise ring ? How sweet."

"It looks expensive."

Her voice sounded excited.

But Jin shook his head.

"No,not promise ring."

This time their was a small frown on Sarah's face but she hid it very well.

"Engagement ring ? "

He shook his head again.

"No."

The girl bit her lower lip confused and walked to sit down in front of him.

She set the cup of coffee in front of him. Hers already in her hand.

"Than what ? "

"We got married." Said Jin. There was no point in delaying it.

In a span of a minute, so many emotions were shown on her face but in the last she tried to give him a smile even when the girl was a bit apprehensive.

"Really ? No joke."

He shook his head.

"No,joke."

"I--I-- co--congratulations."

"Thankyou."

Sarah took a sip of the coffee, thinking on what to say next.

"I'm happy for you, Jin. I really am. I know you love that lad a lot."She tried to assure.

"But how ? So soon ? "

He sighed.

"As I told you before, a lot happened."

"There were some problems and than it--it just happened." He himself found it difficult to explain.

"You don't have to tell me about it, if you don't want to." The girl said, noticing his hesitation.

"It's--it's just personal." Jin tried to say.

He didn't want anyone to know about the issues they have or had with the Senior Jeons.

"I understand."Sarah nodded.

"So I take it that we are not roommates anymore ?" She teased.

"Unfortunately not."

The girl pouted.

"I'll miss you and your food."

Jin laughed.

"I'll miss you,too."

"Keep in touch,yeah ?" The girl said softly.

"I don't want to loose my friend."

He smiled.

"I will."

"Do you need some help in packing ? I don't have any class today."

"Yeah,it will be great. Thankyou."

Jin stood outside the apartment he and Sarah once shared. A big bag with all his stuff beside him.

"I will miss this place and you."He said with a sigh.

His roommate smiled sadly.

"Don't be like that. You have a new place with the one you love and are married ,too.And I'm not going anywhere. I'll be right her." She tried to cheer him up.

"Yeah. I'm excited about it."

"I can feel a but--"

"But I'm scared,too. I don't know about their lifestyle. All of them are strangers to me."

"I am afraid that I'll be alone."

Sarah walked near him and hugged the young boy.

"There's no need to. You will not be alone. Namjoon will with you at every step you take."

"I know it can be scary. But you don't have to be alone."

"They are strangers to you now but soon they will just not be strangers,Jin. They'll become your family."

"I hope you're right,Sarah. I really hope you are."He said letting himself be vulnerable for a moment and hugged her back.

"Jin." He heard someone call his name and he stopped, a cardboard box in his hand of all his things.

He turned around and smiled when he saw hyungmin making his way to him.

A envelope in his hand.

"See,I got a appointing letter." He said with a smile.

Jin's lips also curled up.

"Congratulations,hyungmin-ssi. You deserve it."

"Thankyou. And I'm sure you got it, too. So that means we are going to be coworkers after the break."

After hearing him, he still tried to keep a smile on his face as he remembered what happened an hour ago.

"I'm afraid that we are not going to be coworkers."He said dejectedly.

"Huh ? "The other looked shocked.

"But I was so sure they would hire you. They love you--I mean how can they not-- it doesn't seem to be right--maybe it's a mistake--yeah a mistake."

Jin shook his head.

"It's not a mistake. I was offered the position but I didn't take it."

"Oh--"

"Yes."

"Well I'm sure you have your reasons than and I'm sure you'll tell me that soon--only if you allow though."

He frowned and tilted his head to the side.

"What do you mean, hyungmin-ssi ? "

The other shuffled around in his position and took a deep breathe.

"I mean that would you like to have some coffee with me ? There's a really good cafe around here. You'll like it."

Jin bit his lips contemplating on how to address the situation. But he didn't have to because hyungmin saw his hesitation.

"Don't worry,you don't have to. I understand."

"And please don't be awkward about it."

"You see hyungmin-ssi-" Jin started.

"There's a reason why I didn't take the job as you said before. And it is that I got married. "

"What ? "

"Yes,I'm married now."

The other looked conflicted but nodded.A silence followed after for a moment.

"Congratulations, Jin."

"I happy for you. I am. Even though I just got rejected a minute ago." He tried to joke.

"But ---"

"Forgive me if I'm crossing a line but you getting married and leaving a very promising job doesn't make sense."

Jin nodded.

"You're right,it doesn't. I'm just taking a break to get used to my new life. I'm not stopping."

"And maybe after the break. I'll work in my in law's company." He said.

"I see."

"Yes, there's no need for me to stop career just because I'm married."

"I'm glad to hear that. We wouldn't want the talent of yours to go to waste."

"So our journey as colleague ends here,than."

Jin gave him a small smile.

"Yes,it ends here."

"It was nice to know you,Jin."

"And it was nice to know you too, Hyungmin."

"I don't need anything, thankyou." Said Jungkook to the air hostess,who nodded and walked away.

Yoongi leaned back on his seat. They were alone, travelling back to their home.

"I got a message right before we boarded the plane." He said.

And the younger frowned,looking at his brother.

"What ?"

"Namjoon got married."

Jungkook immediately sat up from seat.

"Are you serious ?"

"Yes,mother is not happy."

"What happened ? We were just away for a few weeks."

Yoongi chuckled bitterly and shook his head.

"I know his breaking point was near. But I didn't know that he would do something like getting married." He said referring to his elder brother.

"He married his high school boyfriend ? "

"Yeah,from what I know they are still going strong."

"What's his name again ? Namjoon hyung never told me."

"Kim Seokjin. I think."

"Oh."

"Hyung ?"

Yoongi hummed as a gesture for him to continue.

"What will happen now ? "

"We get a new family member."

"Do you think he made the right choice ? "

"I don't know, Jungkook. I have never been in love. I don't understand what he feels. I can't tell. I have heard that love can make you do a lot of things."

"I have no idea. What do you think about it ?"

The younger frowned.

"Hyung obviously did this on impulse. He didn't think about it in deep. His decision was influenced by mother and father. It was not his alone."

"So, he's the wrong one here. He didn't make the right choice. "

"If he tried enough,he could have found any other way."

Yoongi nodded.

"Yeah,that's true. But we can't do anything about it."

"Yes."

"He didn't even wait for us."

"I'm not suprised by it. Namjoon hyung always does his own thing."

"On the other hand I feel for Seokjin-ssi." Said Jungkook and leaned back on his seat, closing his eyes.

"He dragged someone else in our family mess. We don't know that if he'll be able to endure it or not."

Jin's head perked up when he heard a knock on his door.

But he didn't get up and remained seated on the couch near the window that showed the sun rising.

"Who is it ?" He asked.

"Hyung ? "

Jimin.

"Yes."

"It's nearly 8. Aren't you joining us for breakfast ? "

He turned to look at the sun that shone away from the clouds. In these cold days, it's arrival gave some warmth.

But why didn't he feel any warm ? It was still cold.

"No."He replied.

"I'm not.Please continue without me and don't disturb me unless it's something really important."

"But--- "

Jin heard the other sigh.

Jimin was about to argue but soon complied.

"Okay, hyung."

"Thankyou."

He heard the footsteps walking away soon after,leaving Jin in the solitude of his own room busy with his thoughts and past memories.

Jungkook groaned as soon as he opened his eyes. The headache already making it's presence clear.

His throat felt extremely dry. The light from the window hurting his eyes.

A nauseating feeling creeping upto his chest.

The strong smell of alcohol coming from him made him scrunch his nose.

And it looked like someone heard his silent prayer to save him as he heard someone close the curtains.

Soon he saw Taehyung sitting down beside him.

The younger ran his fingers in his dark hairs in a way to comfort him and Jungkook greatly appreciated it.

"Here."

A glass of water and painkiller was passed onto him and he took with a relieved sigh.

"Thankyou."

After he took the medicine. It was quiet.

Taehyung continued his action with his hair.

And he was glad that the younger didn't ask him any question.

"You know you have to apologise to him, right ?" He asked breaking the silence.

Jungkook opened his eyes and shook his head lightly.

"I'm not apologising to him. He needed to hear that."

This time Taehyung shook his head.

"I'm not talking about Namjoon hyung. I'm talking about Jin hyung."

"You involved him in fight between you and Namjoon hyung when there was no need."

"It was between you two."

"You know it's not your battle to fight,right ? It's Jin hyung's."

"You can help him,not fight it for him."

"Do you understand it ?"

Jungkook rubbed his face with his palm as he realised the situation.

"I dragged him between us, didn't I ?"

"Yes,you did."

"I didn't mean to Taehyung. I didn't mean to. It's just---just I wasn't in my right my mind. "

"I know, Jungkook. But that doesn't mean you don't have to apologise because you have to."

"I know. I will."

"Good."

Taehyung didn't say anything about the last night situation. He silently gave the elder some time to explain himself. He will wait for Jungkook to come to him.

"Get ready, there's no need to go to the office, today. Take a break."

"Taehyung ?"

"Yeah ?"

"Will you be with me when I apologise to Jin hyung ? "

The younger smiled.

"Ofcourse,I will always be with you. Don't worry about that."
