Taehyung sighed and hung up the call when he heard the same response he got everytime he called Jungkook.

"Where are you ?" He mumbled and bit his bottom lip subconsciously,worried for his husband.

Almost all the guests have left and the one that remained were some close relatives and friends of his in-laws.

So he excused himself and went to the garden in the back of mansion.

It was also well kept. Taehyung made sure of it.

Unlike other days where the sky was covered with dark clouds. He could clearly see the moon shine from above.

It brought him the tranquility and peace.

He took a relieved breath and leaned against the wall of mansion to admire the moon in his full glory.

Jungkook.

The elder still in the back of his mind. But he tried to assure himself that everything is fine.

The light fell on him and his skin glowed under it.

He simply looked beautiful and enchanting.

The light making him appear like an Angel.

Away from all, in silence with a serene view. Taehyung found himself smiling.

The day has been torturous for him. So he really appreciated a moment of calm.

Lost in his thoughts he didn't immediately heard another voice.

"Still like to visit the garden to recharge ?" He spoke almost teasingly.

Taehyung turned to look at him and he surprisingly didn't tense up this time as the other leaned against the wall like him.

He just hummed in reply.

The other snickered.

"How long are you planning to avoid me, Taehyung ? "

"I-I--"

He closed his eyes for a second and opened them only to stare at the moon again.

"I am not avoiding you. Just not ready to face you, Alex."

The other chuckled.

"You know it practically means that you're not ready to face your past."

"And you also know that you can't avoid it forever."

"I said I'm not avoiding you."Answered Taehyung.

"I mean I get it why you told your father in law that we don't know each other."

"He wanted to use what he had before for his profit and make me join his company."

"We are nothing."

"Exactly that's why I said had. Because even if you don't want to admit."

"We were friends before."

"Maybe--maybe more than friends at one point. "

Taehyung opened his mouth to retort but Alex didn't let him.

"But I get it, we are nothing now."

"Maybe you even consider me a stran--stranger."

"However I can't forget the years we spent together in England."

"I can't, Taehyung." He said as his voice cracked.

"I know you don't need it but I'll always wish the good for you."

"When we met here the first time you said that you had a small wedding."

"You lied to me."

"I can't just admit the fact that I made you feel like you need to lie to me."

"To me."

"And it hurt me."

"I'm not going to hide it."

"It did hurt me."

"Alex." He said and turned to him.

"I am and will be always thankful to you."

"You helped me a lot. You were there for me."

"You have been nothing but kind to me. You have so much patience. I honestly don't how you do it."

"And I have so much respect for you."

"I just want you to know what happened or what's happening has nothing to do with you."

"Don't ever blame yourself for my recklessness,for the way I handled a situation."

"I was not in the best state when I left England."

"And I do feel bad about it."

"There are so many things going on in my life."

"I will face my past someday. But not today. Not at this moment."

"You have to understand."

"I'm tired."

"I'm just so tired." He said last sentence softly.

And he looked so vulnerable when he said it.

"I know. I can see it."

"I still wanted to try."

"I'm sorry for forcing you to face it."

"But as I said before I still wish you the best. So I did something because I knew you would never do it."

"Gave you a little push,if I may say."

Taehyung's breath hitched.

"What do you mean ? "

"You have someone to lean on,share your pain and happiness with each other." said Alex, even though he felt a pang in his chest.

"It might feel intruding."

"But my interest is always in your happiness."

"What did you do ? "The younger asked.

But the other just smiled at him and walked away.

Taehyung wrapped his arms around himself tighter and walked inside only to see Jimin and Yoongi enter the mansion.

"Hyung." He called.

They stopped in their track and Jimin looked at him.

"Taehyung."

"What were you doing outside in the garden ? It's cold."

"Just wanted some fresh air." The younger shrugged.

"What about you ? "

Jimin chuckled.

"Same, needed some air. You know how suffocating it gets."

"Yeah."

Jin entered the hall to see them together.

"Jungkook is still not here ?" He asked.

And Taehyung shook his head with a frown.

"He's not here ?" Yoongi asked.

"No, he disappeared later on and I don't know where he is."

"That's odd."

"It is."

"Don't worry. He'll be back soon."

"I am here because mother is asking all of us to go to her study." Mumbled Jin.

"Why ? "Questioned Jimin.

"I don't know but father is also there with Namjoon."

Yoongi sighed.

"Let's not keep them waiting than."

"Something happened in our office in Switzerland. Your dad and I need to go back as soon as possible."

"If you are in this hurry. I assume it's really important."Spoke Namjoon.

"I'm afraid it is." Mr. Jeon said.

"Should I arrange plane tickets than ?" Questioned Yoongi.

Mrs. Jeon shook her head.

"No need. We did it already. We need to be at the airport in an hour."

"So soon ? "

"Yeah, the sooner the better."

"Both of us with our guests are impressed with the party. Good job."

"I wish we could stay here longer but the situation doesn't allow us to."

"So until next time-"

They just entered the hall after seeing off Mr. and Mrs. Jeon.

And Taehyung was visibly distraught by than.

There was still no sign of Jungkook.

When Mrs. Jeon asked about him. Yoongi had to make something up. So that they won't get mad at him.

Jimin rubbed his arm in comfort.

"He'll be here soon."

"When hyung ? "

"It's been hours and he--he just disappeared."

"Jungkook never does it."

The elder looked at him helplessly.

"I know that. But worrying about him won't bring him back early. "

"Try to be calm,okay ?"

"But--"

"He is fine, Taehyung."Interrupted Yoongi.

By then Namjoon and Jin were already in their room.

"You should go and rest."

Taehyung wanted to say more.

But just nodded defeated and started to walk back to their room.

"Atleast pick up my call."He mumbled to himself quietly, pulling out his phone to call him again.

When younger left. Jimin turned to Yoongi.

"Are you sure you don't know where he could be ? "

The elder shook his head.

"No as Taehyung said he never does something like this."

"I have no idea."

Taehyung was sitting on the bed leaned against the head rest with a pillow hugged to his chest.

He was staring at the wall clock that showed that it was already half past one.

He was stressed and worried as the words Alex said repeated in his mind.

"Please come back to me."

He picked up his phone to call him yet again.

Taehyung was getting frustrated and was about to go to Yoongi and Jimin's room and ask them to do something when he heard a yell downstairs and recognising the familiar voice he rushed out of the room.

"Jeon Jungsuk,get back here." Shouted Jungkook loudly.

His words slightly slurred and steps faltering.

He was leaned against a pillar in the hall.

"Jeon Jungsuk."

"Your son is calling you. Get here."

Taehyung descended downstairs hurriedly. And his eyes widened as he took the scene in.

"Jungkook."He said and moved to him.

"What are you doing ? "

The elder was reeking with the smell of alcohol.

"Why did you drink so much ? "He questioned in concern and tried to hold him.

But the elder shrugged him off.

"Jeon Jungsuk and Jeon Jena."

"Where are you ?"

Yoongi and Jimin also rushed downstairs from all the yelling.

And the scene in front of them was shocking.

Jungkook was really drunk.

"Jungkook, please stop it and let me take you to our room."

Taehyung tried again. But the other just refused and continued shouting.

Soon Namjoon and Jin also entered the hall. They were clearly asleep.

"Hyung,help me." Said Taehyung and looked at Yoongi,who nodded and walked to them.

"No,no,no,no leave me."

"Today I want to say something to my dear parents."

"And no one can stop me."

"Leave me."

He tried to get out of their grip.

"Jeon Jungsuk,where are you hiding,huh ?"

"If you can't be here,I'll go to you."

"Leave me." He shouted.

Namjoon stared at the younger with a stoic face and sighed.

"Leave him,Yoongi."

"But--"

"Leave him."

They did leave Jungkook,who huffed in anger and fixed his jacket.

Namjoon walked to stand in front of the younger.

Yoongi turned to look at Jimin and gestured him to take Taehyung away.

Jimin nodding did it not paying attention to the protest at the action.

"Jeon Jungkook,stop it and go to your room. We'll talk about it later."Said the eldest.

And Jungkook laughed.

"Talk about what exactly,hyung ?"

"Your behaviour and your drunk actions."

And he snickered.

"It's not drunk actions. I wanted to do this for so long."

"Jeon Jungsuk."

"Jeon Jena, where are you both ?"

"Stop shouting,they are not here."

At this the younger tilted his head to the side.

"Where are they than ? "

"They went back to Switzerland. Something happened at the company there- "answered Yoongi and Jungkook laughed again.

He laughed loudly.

"They chose the business again huh ?"

"They fucking chose their work and reputation."

"I can't say I'm suprised."

"Because this fucking happens everytime."

"Why can't they just be our parents instead of being business man and business woman."

"Why couldn't they just spend some time with us ? But ofcourse why would they."

"It's just wasting their precious time for them."

"In their eyes it's not worth it."

"It's always business,work, money and reputation."

"But what about our feelings ?"

"That means nothing to them."

Taehyung eyes were filled with tears as he tried to walk back to him but a hand on his arm didn't let him.

Yoongi tried to make Jungkook stop.

Jin looked concerned for the younger.

Jimin closed his eyes as tears escaped his orbs. He could relate everything Jungkook said.

Everything.

"No matter how successful they get."

"Just remember that they fucking failed as parents."

"They did."

"They really did."

"Jeon Jungkook." Said Namjoon sternly.

"Shut up,it's not a way to talk about our parents."

"You're being extremely disrespectful."

Jungkook chuckled sarcastically as he stumbled back.

"I'm being disrespectful ? "

"Me ? "

"Disrespectful ?"

"I'm being disrespectful."

"You wouldn't understand, hyung."

"And I mean why would you."

"Because you are just freaking like them." He shouted on Namjoon's face.

"You are just like them."

"A conceited jerk,who only cares about his reputation."

"Jeon Jungkook."

"Don't."

"Let me speak today."

"Hyung,let me ask you something."

"Don't you feel any guilt ?"

"Because I fucking do."

" 'cause of us, they are suffering." He said and pointed at Jin, Jimin and Taehyung.

"I mean can't you see it."

"We destroyed their lives."

"We can't be what they want and it's all because of our parents."

"They are not happy."

"The guilt is so strong. I can't breathe sometimes you know."

"All of them are suffering. I can't just ignore it."

"It has nothing to do with them." Answered Namjoon through gritted teeth.

"Ofcourse you'll still take their side. You are their perfect idol son."

"Am I right Yoongi hyung ? " He turned to elder for a second.

"Why are you so prideful to admit it huh ? "

"They all suffer but do you know who suffers the most in this house ?"

"Jin hyung."

"Your husband,who you ignore all the fucking time."

"Because of them, you have failed marriage."

"Yes,you do."

Your marriage is failed.

"But I don't want it like that. I don't want a marriage like you and Jin hyung."

"And it has to stop."

"Jungkook." Namjoon warned but the younger was too far gone.

"I don't want Taehyung to go numb."

"I want him to smile and laugh,enjoy the life."

"I don't want my parents to rule our life."

"I won't let them."

"I want a happy married life. I want to keep him happy."

"I don't want a failed marriage like you."

"Only you are the reason Jin hyung is like that now. "

"Admit it."

"Only you."

"You failed him, hyung."Jungkook yelled.

"Jungkook."Namjoon shouted and raised his hands in the air.
