Jungkook gulped as he raised his hand to knock on the door.

He was nervous,a jittery feeling inside his chest.

He had to stop himself from shaking.

It's not the first time his family's hosting a party and certainly not the first time his husband is accompanying him.

But he feels a shift in air,there are obviously some changes this time and it's enough for him to be scared.

Too scared that he'll mess it up.

And he doesn't really want to ruin anything for Taehyung.

He took a deep breathe to calm down.

The guilt that was built up inside his chest was still very much there.

Jungkook felt like he failed him yet again.

He's left with nothing but regret.

Just than the door opened up and he was pulled out from his thoughts.

He always knew that the younger was beautiful.

But at the moment he just looked breathtakingly gorgeous.

Jungkook eyes widened as he took in the whole appearance.

The eyes that stare at him with uncertainty spoke so much.

The lavender scent of other made him drunk.

The curls in his hair being absolutely adorable.

The suit fits him exactly right, highlighting all the curves and Jungkook feels lucky.

Lucky to be blessed with such a ethereal sight.

The younger boy is a bewitching enigma.

And he will truly understand him the best,one day.

One day. He tells himself.

"Jungkook." Called out Taehyung after meeting with his silence.

The silence made him shuffle around in his place.

The elder shakes his head once and breathe in to get composed.

Soon he smiled.

"You look absolutely stunning, Taehyung." He compliments.

A noticable cherry blush took over younger's cheek and he looked down.

"Thank-Thankyou." The younger stuttered and Jungkook clears his throat.

"It's late. We shall get going."

Jungkook mindlessly stretched his arm forward.

Taehyung with his lips curled up nodded and took other's hand in his as the elder started guiding him downstairs.

"You look handsome, too." He compliments shyly as well.

The elder turned to him and gazed at his eyes.

The intense stare made younger weak in his knees but he didn't let it show.

"Thankyou, Taehyung."

Taehyung smiled and prepared himself for the long night as Jungkook and him entered the hall.

It was already filled with the guests with the classical music being played in the background.

His eyes took in all the decorations and how pretty it looked.

Their hardwork was successful and he felt proud of his hyungs and himself.

Jungkook squeezed his hand in assurance as they walked to greet one of the guest.

The elder changed a lot. And he could see it yet again from all the efforts.

His husband made sure to involve him in every conversation unlike in the past where all he did was to quietly stand beside him.

Jungkook checked on him continuously in fifteen minutes intervals.

And most importantly he didn't let go of his hand even once.

And all of that made Taehyung heart flutter as some warmth settled in his chest.

Jimin walked upto the pair with a frown on his face.

"Taehyung."He said and took their attention.

The younger turned to him with a smile and Jungkook excused himself,moving away.

"Where were you ? I didn't see you all day and you didn't even answer my call." He questioned worried.

The younger fidgeted with his hands and staring at the floor.

"Some work came up that I wasn't able to avoid. I was busy the whole day that's why-"

Jimin nodded and rubbed his arm as he noticed that the younger was a little uncomfortable with the topic.

"Okay but you know, you can talk to me if you're worried about anything,right ? "

At his words Taehyung looked at him in shock.

His and Jimin's relationship was not like this before. They rarely even talked. So happiness bloomed in his chest at the words of other.

The elder clearly cared for him.

Obviously their visit to his house played a big part in it.

"Yes, hyung." He smiled.

"I'll tell you."

The elder smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Good."

He walked into the empty corridor and took some deep breaths.

It was overwhelming for him and all the alcohol displayed in the party didn't make it easy for him.

Jimin was tired of seeing the same old smiles and fake kindness that it started to irk him.

So he really needed some time alone.

He leaned against the wall and sighed.

But the moment he opened his eyes. His eyes grew big.

Victor stood right in front of him. His hand beside his head on the wall,caging him.

"What are you doing ?" He asked immediately all alert.

Instead of answering his question.

He grinned.

"Jimin."

"Oh sweetheart. You look beautiful, today."

And leaned forward to close the gap between them.

But the shorter male pushed him away.

"Stop and move back." He yelled.

But the other chuckled amused.

"Come on,Jimin. Don't you miss me ? You have been ignoring my calls for a while now."

"I'm ignoring you because I don't want to do anything with you. Can't you get the message ? "He hissed.

Victor frowned.

"But why ?"

"Don't you want to forget."

"It's none of your business."

"What happened to you ? I can't understand."

"You don't have to understand. Just leave me alone."

Jimin said one last time and gave him one big push,ready to walk away but a hand on his wrist stopped him.

He turned around prepared to yell at him.

But a voice called him which made him freeze in action.

Yoongi was there. He was facing Victor's back but he could see him clearly.

His face had the stoic expression.

"Hyung."He mumbled as the elder walked to him.

"Yoongi,nice to meet you. It's been a long time." Greeted Victor and turned to face him.

But the elder just scoffed.

He eyed the wrist of his husband that he still held.

"Get your hands off." He said in an intimidating tone.

But the other just frowned confused.

"Huh ? "

"Get your damn hands off my husband." He repeated again.

The tone held an edge and honestly it even scared Jimin.

The other let his hand go.

"Jungkook, take Jimin away from here." The elder said and just than the shorter male noticed younger behind Yoongi.

He was about to protest but a look from his husband made him quiet.

The yonger gestured Jimin to get back. And he did get back slowly.

He left the corridor soon but not before he gave them a worried look.

Yoongi scowled and pushed Victor back on the wall.

His calm aura disappearing immediately.

"I couldn't do anything to you before. But now things are different."

"Jimin doesn't want you. It's easier for me to destroy you." He said through gritted teeth and held him by collar.

"Make sure I don't see you near him again."

"And trust me you definitely don't want to see what will happen if you defy me."

"I am Jeon Yoongi. Don't test me."

He gave him a last strong push and stormed away.

All the other did was just to stand there in shock.

"Jungkook ? " The elder stopped for a moment and called the younger, who was very much still there and saw everything.

"You continue hyung. I'll join you in a few."

Yoongi nodded and they were left alone.

Before Victor could say something.

Jungkook punched him on the face.

"Wanted to do this again because you fucking deserve it."

"Stay the hell away from my family."

"I don't really want to see you. So it's better if you leave. I'm sure you don't want us to throw you out."

With that Jungkook left the now whimpering in pain Victor in the empty corridor.

"Hyung."Jimin immediately followed Yoongi when he entered the hall.

"Yes ?" The elder asked and took a mocktail from a nearby waiter.

"What happened in the corridor ? "

"Oh don't worry about that. I just had a talk with him."

Jimin tilted his head to the side and frowned.

"Just a talk. "

"Yes,just a talk."

"Anyway why were you there in the first place ? "Yoongi questioned and took a sip of his drink.

"I needed to be alone, hyung."

"All of this can be a lot for me to handle at once."He answered truthfully.

The elder nodded.

"Understandable."

"So wanna get out of here ? "

"Huh ? " The younger's mouth opened in confusion.

"Yeah. We can get ice-cream, like we did one late night."

"Are you serious ? "

"Yes."

"But the party is going on."

"So ? "

"I'm sure no one will notice our absence. Mother and Father are busy with their old friends now. So they won't bother and we have already greeted all the guests."

"We can leave,if you want."

"Are you really--really serious ?"

Yoongi gave him a blank look.

"I'm really--really serious,Jimin."

"And if someone did notice ?"

"Don't worry I'll handle that."

"So do you want to go or not ? "

The younger stared at him for a minute just to make sure the elder was not joking.

When he was sure Jimin blinked his dark orbs in suprise.

"I have always been a little rebellious after I got married. So why not ?" He said instead.

And Yoongi smiled.

"Let's go than."

Mr. Jeon, their father in law called Taehyung to introduce him to someone.

And younger's steps faltered when he saw the guest.

Alex stood in front of him with a smile on his face.

"Taehyung, meet Alexander David Jones. Brilliantly smart man."

But the younger didn't let the other's presence affect him.

"Nice to meet you."He said and shook Alex's hand, who did the same.

"He is my youngest son's husband.

They got married two years ago. It was a very big and grand wedding."

"Oh." Said Alex and gave Taehyung a look which the younger tried to ignore.

"We have been trying to hire him for our company in London." Mr. Jeon told Taehyung who nodded at the new information.

"But he is not an easy person to convince."

Alex chuckled at that.

"It's just I have a lot of things in my plate at the moment."

"Sure,take your time young man. But remember that our offer is always open."

"Definitely."

"Did you know that Alex went to the same University as you ? "

"Have you met each other before ?" The eldest asked.

Alex opened his mouth to answer.

"Actually we--"

"No, we have never met before."Replied Taehyung.

"Oh okay but it's never too late. You both can still get to know each other. "

The younger smiled.

"We will."

Taehyung avoided looking at him. He knows what he said definitely made the latter upset.

The younger just doesn't want his in-laws to get involved in his life.

He has a clear idea on what will happen if his father in law gets to know that they were friends before.

He doesn't want all this to change it to just a business transaction.

He doesn't.

And when the eldest left them alone.

Taehyung took a sharp breathe as he registered the words Alex spoke to him.

"You said it was a small wedding. You lied."

Jungkook ordered a champagne for himself and leaned against the bar.

He could see Taehyung talking to his dad on the other side and sighed.

"Mr. Jeon, it's nice to see you again." Someone said and he looked up.

His eyebrows pinched together as he stared at other's face.

The intruder chuckled at that.

"Don't remember me ? "

"No,no I do. I just forgot your name. Sorry."

"No worries."

"It's Alexander. Alex for short."

"Oh yeah,Alex. Taehyung's friend from England. "

"Yeah."

"How are you ?" They shook their hands and the other also leaned against the bar like him.

"I'm good. You ? "

One hour passed as Taehyung continued to talk to anyone who approached him .

He sat down on an empty seat as his feets started to hurt.

He remembered the conversation with his dad that took place a while ago.

"Ari told me that you visited the garden. Is everything okay, bear ? "

Taehyung shook his head and smiled.

"Everything's great, Dad. I just missed mom."

"So I went there."

"Are you sure, Taehyung ? "

"I feel like something is going on and I don't know it. It's worrying me."

"Don't be worried."

"I'm fine, Dad. I promise."

Mr. Kim didn't look convinced but still he nodded.

He doesn't want his dad distressed. So he tried his best to assure him.

Jin walked upto him and he stood up.

"Hyung,have you seen Jungkook ?"

"I can't find him anywhere." He questions and the elder shook his head.

"No,I haven't. Sorry."

"But have you seen Yoongi and Jimin ? I can't see them either."

"No."

Jin sighed.

"I'm sure they are here somewhere. The party's about to end anyway. So it doesn't matter if they leave."

"And Jungkook must be around, too.

Don't worry."

Taehyung nodded but he still couldn't help but be concerned for the elder.

Where are you, Jungkook ?
